I dont think the bullying is race driven, but i do think her race and culture are used as another reason to be bitchy towards her. Regardless, i dont think anyone who hasnt really done anything wrong deserves that kind of treatment.

It does sound like Becky has some serious self-esteem issues, but doesnt make it okay what she has done, she still knows the difference between right and wrong. I hope she can sort out her issues with self-esteem, as it seems quite destructive for her. It's not an easy thing to sort out though, i imagine with that level it'll have some basis in childhood. Unfortunetly most people have issues with self-esteem, just some are really great at hiding it and it only gets shown when you really get to know them.

sorry to hear that. I seriously hate car insurance, we pay loads then we cant bloody use it, cos if we do the rate goes up loads and costs more in the long run. Seems stupid to be paying for something we cant really use.

lol, this thread is quite funny. Seeing the jealousy from those that didnt get EMA money. First off 30 pounds is very very little, transport costs and food money will take up at least 10 pound of that. So what if they spend like 20 a week on themselves, at least they are attending college. If any of you are so upset about tax money, look at the millions wasted each day on our 'war on terror' or the ridiculous amounts of money thrown at projects, or even those on job seekers who get 60 a week and mess around at home (though you cant just walk into a job now). Some of you complaining will be old enough that going to uni didnt have tution fees, well now the fees are huge, students starting now ill leave with at least 10 thousand in debt, probably closer to or over 20 thoudand. Given the choice of a little bit of money for 2 years, followed by shit loads of debt or no money in college and no big uni fees, i'm sure what most would choose. Anyway, this is kinda detracting from Coo's gripe, which was really about how unless EMA are to him as a service, afraid thats just how many services are now.

Although that is a weird example that is hard to think of outside of its current context, i'd have to say yes, because thats what Britain would become known for over everything else. Which has been generally the case with holland, people first think of the drugs and prostition and think of the countries history and landmarks second. Amsterdam is a varied place, of course with the 'coffee shops' and clubs, but it also has alot of culture and amazing looking streets and canals. However, Amsterdam is immediately thought of as a place of drugs, prostitution, stag parties and bondage - even by many people living in other parts of Holland. It's a very narrow view and i'd hate to ever see London get that kind of reputation. One thing annoying with Amsterdam is the beggers are so bloody persistent and in huge numbers.
