You can't blame Sheikah for random results. Shorty was picked randomly by a confirmed townie (Tales) and Jonnas was picked randomly by Shorty. That's how this strategy works. It's pure luck if we hit a mafia or not but I believe that this way we're more likely to hit a mafia before they reach majority than to go with inferred suspicion which leaves too much room for mafia interference. We're still picking things up from what people are saying and from voting patterns as well which has led me to believe that Jonnas is actually mafia anyway.

I think it's dangerous to steer away from the plan at this point. We've lynched someone who was town so we at least know that Shorty is a target picked by a townie. Now we have people who want to diverge from this... it's a bit shifty. I agree that it's weird that Sheikah wouldn't vote along with his own plan but I think if he was mafia he wouldn't dare not vote. It's not like he's using his lack of vote as a defence or anything, he'd be a fool to do that. The only reason to vote for Tales was to go along with this plan so I'm going to stick with it. I believe we will hit a mafia before it's too late. This is a cold approach to a lynch which means it's not susceptible to mafia interference. The only way the mafia could interfere is to take us off the plan and I think they know that.

To follow with the plan I'll Vote: Shorty, otherwise lynching Tales was literally for nothing. I'm at a loss for ideas on how we can catch a mafia with no kills and no night actions. All we seem to have is blind luck, if we keep on this path we're bound to catch at least one mafia. Shorty have you used a RNG to get a lynch target?

I'm hoping to get us back up to 30 teams which is 3 divisions of 10 teams. So it would be 18 games each, 2 games a week = 9 weeks or 8 weeks if we stay as we are.

I think season 32 will probably start before the world cup is over unless enough of the current managers object to the idea but there's always going to be the season after :p you can join mid-season and your team will be created but obviously you won't be able to take part in the ongoing season.

This league hasn't started yet and is just a one-off season (as far as I know?) so you still have time. The n-europe league is about to finish its 31st season so if you're looking to get back into the game regularly you could also join that. The current season ends on the 29th and the next one will probably start in the first or second week of July.

You do get a game against the system when you start a new team but it probably shouldn't have been this soon! What errors were you getting? Best thing would be to report it in the xpert forum Just so everyone is aware, there won't be a friendly cup at the end of this season so anyone looking for extra games might want to join Zell's World Cup league. The new season of our league will start when we've got 30 teams. We're already at 28!

"To join a second private league where someone else is the league boss you must have been a member for at least 2 months and have an Xpert rating of at least 95." You will have to be a VIP to get a second team I think. You can have an official league team for free and if you do a PR each week it gives you +1 on the xpert rating... other than that the only way to boost it is to recruit people but I don't know how much it adds on :p So realistically you'll need to purchase VIP to get a second team in time for this (or make a new account).

@Zell it'll cost me £7 to join the league as I'd have to pay to have an extra team... so I'll join near the end if you look to be getting the numbers you need :p

This is a good chance for a bit of fantasy football fun. It's only one season so you don't have to worry about building your team up. You get your team assigned to you and you're good to go! Everyone will be on the same level skill-wise so it will probably be the tactics that set you apart from the rest. Think you could do better than Hodgson? Put it to the test!

Well it is a bit unfair but any lynch at this point would be. One thing that concerns me with the plan of voting for Tales' RNG target if Tales is town... if Shorty is also town the mafia will know that and will surely all pile on the votes at this stage? So we could be down two townies right away.

ohhhh shit I forgot about Ninja! I hope the weather is good. I will try to prepare a mafia if people want one. A few other group games would be good to play/do along with the usual telephone/mafia/ninja too So far the 23rd is still looking like the best option for those of us that have posted availability with only Cube unsure due to trains. Maybe Cube can get the train to another travelling n-e member instead of directly to London and get a lift the rest of the way?

I was really surprised at how good this game turned out to be. I'd love to see some kind of continuation in DLC.
