Molyneux wants to bring together core and casual
McPhee replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That's the point Molyneux is making. Fable is far away from being a casual franchise, but Fable 2 is a step in the right direction to making that type of game accesible. He's saying "why are we making new games for a new audience when there's nothing wrong with the old ones?". Playing Fable and thinking about all of this stuff it is clear to me that he's not just spouting rubbish. -
We can't have the same problem over here in blighty. If it's broken the store have to replace it regardless of if it's their fault or the manufacturer's Still, RB2 does sound like the plan

You shoula blasted that sucker! I've found a few ass holes like that in the game, all of them are dead. My alignment is pretty mixed though, i'm not good or evil, just a free agent following his own path. I'm something like 55% across the Good/Evil bar in favour of good. I wish you could barge through people. It's my biggest annoyance so far, the game is close to perfect but why on earth are people like brick walls?

How can a guy with a beer belly also have a six pack?* *No, not a six pack of beer, smart arse!

I use Force Push a lot, the knockback is handy for singling out enemies or killing groups of weaker enemies.

I'd agree with all of that. Other than this it's GOTY material! I've not played a game this good in a LONG time. Molyneux just proved he IS the shiz Was gutted to find out today that work are selling this for £29.99! I get 15% staff discount as well! I payed £40 for it yesterday Oh, and H-o-T, how come you ain't on my friends list anymore?

A lot of indie stores sell them the day they come in. My local put the boxes out on a display at the front of the store marked "Coming Soon". The regular customers all know that it means they are in stock, they just won't put them on the shelves properly because of incidents with Game and Gamestation. I'm hoping to pick mine up tomorrow.

For anyone living in Glasgow, apparently G-Force had Fable 2 on the shelves this morning.

i've decided i'm only buying Fable 2, Gears 2 or Banjo and Left 4 Dead. That's it for the rest of the year. Last year i went nuts, barely played some of the games i bought (only spent about an hour with both UT3 and The Witcher) and didn't like others (Mass Effect). Given most of them will be £20 after Christmas i'll just wait. There's a slim chance i might get Far Cry 2 though as that's already available for under £20 on PC.

Same here. Other than that i've had no issues. I'm on my second 360 now, a 60GB Pro (sold my first to my bro because i wanted the bigger HDD and HDMI port).

It depends on the TV, that set might not support 480p over VGA. Try component.

Finally found a TV that i'm happy with Two years of saving and searching have lead me to this; Panasonic TH-42PZ81 I bought it yesterday and set it up last night. 42" of full-HD glory! Games look stunning, HD-DVDs look crisper than i have EVER seen and Freesat is pretty awesome (an free, unlike those Sky scumbags :p). I'm well chuffed, i've got nothing to complain about with it. The pictures it produces are the best i've ever seen!

The V4000? I've heard good things, but i've not looked in to it a huge amount. Try avforums.com

All they need to do to achieve that is ask the CPU and GPU manufacturers to remake the GC hardware using modern manufacturing processes. A die shrink and a few other minor customisations later and we have a smaller and cooler version of the GC. It's a standard request, nothing special at all. It happens all the time in the computer world.

More sought after on bigger TVs, but it's useful on smaller TVs if you're planning on using the screen as a computer monitor.

It depends, i mean being able to heal and being inable to feel pain does have it's advantages. She could push herself harder than any human could. Send her off to train with the Gurkhas for a few years, that'll teach her discipline :p She'd also be one of the most deadly heroes after that. She really doesn't do 'tough' very well, even future her just ends up looking like a kid throwing a tantrum.

No probs m8, and you enjoy it! I had my eye on it for months, saved up a grand for the 40" version (now £800). What made me decide against it? Well, why would i want a 40" screen when i could have a 90" one and better sound for the same money? Projectors ftw!

It's fast going down hill, they could have made a good show out of it if they followed the original plan. The problem is that these characters weren't meant to return for season 2, it was to be new heroes in a different location/timeline. Now they have to drag things out. Still, it's easy viewing and entertaining. Removed them in fear of someone else like him getting those powers? In Season 1 he wanted to be the most powerfull of all, i think he's accepted he can't be now though, because Peter is his equal.

Both for me Far Cry 2 on PC rather than PC, swear i saw it somewhere on the net for £18! I'll trade games in to get Fable. Think i'll be skipping on Fallout 3 for a while, i'm really hyped for it but my sensible head says £15 or £20 in the January sales :p

Good? It's awesome! You're looking at one of the top 2 32" consumer TVs on the market! The only one worth comparing it to is the Philips 32PFL9603
