I really don't give a shit what he's "considered," because unlike you, I can have preferences outside what I'm supposed to think. I don't care. Yes he was, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't play anything else now does it. Just listen to the recordings of him on piano or guitar, and you'll see that he's one of the greatest musicians to grace gods black earth. I'm not saying hendrix was shit, he wasn't, I'm just saying there's a hell of a lot of guitarists that are both musically and technically better than he ever was. Kurt Cobain was a shit guitarist, but that doesnt stop me from appreciating some of his music, Hendrix was a great player and songwriter, enough said, I don't even know what were arguing about.

Then you, my friend are vastly misinformed. Plenty of those guitarists are better than Vai and Satriani, Jimi Hendrix was no where near close to their playing quality, he was a good musician, but his technique was sloppy in recent comparison. As for when you say "I bet most of the guys in that list would slap you for saying they are better than Hendrix" I'm sure Plato would do the same if you insinuated he was a greater mind than socrates. People generally spent their lives trying to surpass their idols, and when they do, they won't hear any of it.

Oops, did I put him in? Well, Morello is definately better if you listen to some of his solos, he has some serious skill, he can shred. As for Bakshy, I've seen him perform some reasonably decent solos, and he plays metal rhythm and he's not to be judged by the boundaries of his (shit) band (which he's left), but I suppose that was me overdoing it a bit, all the rest still apply though, you can't say they're not.

It's a bit boring. Well, bit is an understatement, as is boring.

*Choke*...I'm sorry, you what?? Zelda is faaaar more anticipated than MGS 4. And to be honest, there is really nothing else of interest from the PS3 launch or launch window...unless tekken 6 is out on launch, which I doubt. That was a bit of a stupid comment there mate.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

I like the full colour version a lot better than the gold one. -
Looks a bit pants. But you never know with this sort of game, might come out an surprise a lot of people
-
Um, yeah, right, I agree, some of his songs were downright awesome, Voodoo, Red House and little wing were fucking brilliant tracks, but in terms of his virtuosity, he was overrated, sure he could use wah real good, but his technique was a little sloppy, I can think of plenty of guitarists inside the blues genre that are better (and hundreds from other genres), in pretty much every field. He's still a legend though and I appreciate his work.

Jimi Hendrix was alright, I respect what he did for aspiring guitarists, even though he's a tad overrated. Will be listening to my copy of Are you Experienced .

I like, it, it's one of the most distinctive ones on N-E. The grey backgrounds a bit dull though, so a respectable 8/10 it is. -
Holy shit yeah, I had that for the PS1, and it scared the crap out of me the first time I played the game...
-
Aw sure, seeing as you like teh tallica, ya can have two :p

Hurrah!! Someone agrees with me , I need to buy you a pint the ones in FZ-X were so much fun to race to, it's probably the only reason I keep going back to it. Anyway, back to Excite Truck, I think I'll get this aswell, but I'd like for it to be £29.99...I donno, but it just doesn't really seem like a £40 title. Maybe cause it's a racer...I've always been a bit bitter about racers...

You know what, I'm gonna come out and say it: The Lord Of The Rings books were tiresome and insignificant. There was little point to them, little parallel with the human world and they were a chore to read. For a while I was taken in by the whole hype machine, and just had to read the books, and forced myself to think I was enjoying them, when really, I wasn't. The hobbit was fun when I was a small child, but ultimately, it all still comes to the same dungeons and dragons fantasy, pseudo-myth babble, which to be honest, even plenty of video games do better. I did however quite like the films, I liked them enough, in fact, to get all three extended boxsets, so I'll be watching this regardless of whether it's any good or not.

And without the crappy music, we have a winner.

Nah, I think that the first time you play through an MGS game, watching all the clips and codec talk is fun, and it's done really well, and when you do it a second or third time through, you can just skip it all, so it's not really a problem for me.
