Do you think he wrote the books because he had nothing else to do? He wrote them because there was something he wanted to say, not to write something utterly pointless along the lines of Lotr. And as for the "gay angel" I think you're reading too much into it, it never actually says that they're gay, and even if they are, so what? I think it's your overbearing "faith" for lack of a better term that prevents you from appreciating the book. I don't think it detracts from the final book at all, it's my favourite of the series...

They never reviewed Ico, it was out before the magazine. I'm sure from the way they go on about it though, that they would have given it a 10. I'm not sure whether Burnout deserved that 10 either...so many better games...

The amber spyglass is the last book in the series. They books as a whole are about a lot of things. If you don't like religion, you'll probably find them quite interesting.

Heh, I finished all 3 books in 4 days...didn't move from my bed... To use a stupid analogy, they are to books what Chrono Trigger is to games What chapter are you on? The difference being, of course, that the Da Vinci code is a truly awful book, which not that many people took seriously anyway due to all it's arguments against religion being totally fabricated. HDM's arguments against religion are purposeful and real, that, and the books are so completely endearing that if they did change anything, fans would be up in arms...

I knew that information the day it was announced, wierdly enough, I'm on that site and the forums more than I'm on here, I just thought I'd tell those who didn't know . Read the second and third books, they changed my life in a way. It doesn't require any motivation to read them, it requires a lot of effort to sleep or think about anything else while you're reading them though.

VC Games I want; Chrono Trigger, on account of it being the best game of all time (yes, I know you're tired of hearing this from me, as are my family and friends) Street Fighter 2 Turbo, this game I want very very badly, online multiplayer would be an added perk, but if not, I'll settle for it in it's original form. Streets of Rage 2, mainly for it's multiplayer mode, I'd love to introduce some of my friends to it. Goldeneyse + Perfect Dark, and please fix the framerate for both, these are my 2 favourite FPS' of all time and being able to play them with my cube controller with dual analog controlls (this was possible on the N64, it was possible to map the looking and turning to the C buttons) would pwn oh so very much. Plus being able to play perfect dark properly, and not only when my mate brought his expansion pak round . Secret of Mana - Because I never finished it. Final Fantasy Series - Would be nice to own all the retro ones on a single console... There are plenty more, but I'm sure I've bored you all enough for one day.
