i just got a D600 on ebay, so the issue you have all been so worried about is solved!

my phone has just died and i'm trying ot work out what to replace it with. my top choice is the motorola SLVR L7, but i have heard very mixed opinions on the motorola OS - what do you all think? plus memory is low and i'd need to buy a memory card, as i currently use about 20mb on my phone. second choice is the samsung D600. It looks like it has everything, but tbh i just dont think i need a phone that does that much. the sony ericsson K750i is my third choice, but i have several friends with sony ericssons who have problems with the joy sticks. plus i would rather have quad band connectivity. i am uninspired with the nokia range atm, they seem to be putting all their efforts into 3g. any ideas?

i have always been under the impression that a boot leg is only legal (this may only be in the case of distribution, but may be personal use too) if the artists involved have given you specific permission to record their show.

i went into virgin today and bought a pile of vinyl and i just bought mars volta - intertiatic esp single of ebay to replace my origonal copy that somehow got stuck to another cd, and had some fo the cardboard front torn off. very upsetting.

recently i've been depressed, and i have been listening to jeff buckly and anthony and the johnsons. gary jules is also fantastic for depression, and joy division. just try and think of bands wose mebers have killed them selves and youll be fine

id just like to add that he knew the pay etc when he signed the contract, so why did he sign it if he's got a problem with it now?

cheers for the thoughts! I am ghoing to ring up a possible future employee soon (hopefully tomorrow) and ask their policies. Like you say, if i do wear a long sleeved shirt it will be fine. I hadnt thought about the pain, as im actually needle-phobic, so that was my main concern! but im going to give blood soon, as if i cant manage a needle for altruism, i have no right to manage it for personal reasons. and yes, you can see a design. I have given my sketched to a friend who is a comic book artist, and has actually drawn 2 of his own tattoos to sort out. But you wont get the full meaning as its pretty personal.

bleem is unavaliable now. plus dreambleem allowed you to play ps1 games on a dreamcast, not dreamcast games on a pc.

i understand what you mean, and I have considered it. The idea behind my design is that this isnt the first crap thing to have happened to me, and it wont be the last, and i've got through every hard time before, emerging stronger. Its supposed to be there so when this is over I can look back and know that i have the strength (inside myself, with friends and with god) to get through any bad times.

I want to play my dreamcast games at uni, but dont want to bring my dreamcast to uni. Is there a program that would allow me to play my dreamcast disks on a pc? I have seen there are adaptors i can get to allow em to use dreamcast controllers on a pc, which looks great.

I am going through a very tough time at the moment, and i have decided to get a tattoo based on this, with an optimistic feel about it. I have drawn 2 designs, 1 small that would be on the inside of my left wrist, under my watch strap, and another which is based on the first that is bigger and would be on the inside of my left lower arm. Im not sure which one i'm going to go for yet, as whilst i prefer the larger one having a larger, semi-visible tattoo might affect me in later life (jobs etc). I was just wondering if anyone here has a tattoo, what its like getting one, and anything i should bear in mind. other than the whole 'you'll have it for the rest fo your life...' argument.

its weird how often bands miss brum out. i suppose its because even though its huge, its surrounded by other big venues, like wolverhampton wulfrun hall, and nottingham rock city.

i saw them in 2003, and it was an awesome gig. I was going to get a pair at the presale last night, but i'm not paying £40 a ticket - thats nearly double what it was in 2003. Plus they aren't playing in brum, so i'd have to fork out for a hotel too.

i am quite sporty/uncoordinated, so iahev broken loads of fingers and toes, and damaged ligaments in mmy knees a couple of times. my only 2 actual bad injuries are when i smashed my nose, after having a boule thrown at my face. My other was playing american football, where i tore all the ligaments, damaged tendos and tore the cartilage off the bone in my left wrist. i had to have an operation to tie everything back together, and even 1 1/2 years on its still not great.

top tip there mr odwin! i also recommend doing that for long plane trips/long journys.

I have a small (but growing) vinyl collection. Most of it si limited edition, but I don't know the size of the edition on some of them, so I wondered if anyone here either knows themselves or could tell me where to look. I have tried google and fansites to limited sucess. the ones I need to know are: The Mars Volta - Televators 12" yellow vinyl - The Widow 12" picture disk (mine is number 1292, so i know there cant be more than 9999) - Frances the Mute (single) 12" green vinyl - The Bible and the Breathalyser 10" picture disk My others i either know or don't care so any help on those would be great
