Not got a CD player, laptop speakers are gheey so it's all via my TV... I can make do with earphones, but can never blast out some choons when the neighbours/traffic is pissing me off so much that I wanna deafen them... Bah! No wai! lol, seriously?! Shit.. took me like three weeks of using my pass as my karmic mantra to remember it.

WHAT TO DO TODAY! Shouldn't I unpack? Tidy my room? ... I suppose I should. Ok, I'll try really hard at that. No, seriously; you can't get it changed, or change it yourself. We've all got stupid randomly generated passes but you do remember them after a while Write it down backwards in your diary somewhere, or something? I wish I had an ipod player, as my laptop speakers are rubbish. I used to be able ot hook my ipod up to my tv via a portable dvd player, but i left that in brighton.

Shorty, nami and I just completed castle crashers and got a bunch of achievements. Unlocked insane mode so we've started that, too. I've also tried to get back into Bioshock today, but I'm too crap and I hate games where I'm totally in charge of saving as I end up forgetting. Also cooked far too much pasta. Going to go watch Knocked Up in a minute. Day sounds boring to most people, but this is exactly what I missed over the summer. Although, I still haven't actually unpacked my suitcase since I got back (a week ago, now), and I really, really ought to tidy my room, or at least make the bed... You can't change the user/pass :P EVER! I think I've got mondays and wednesdays off first semester, or something like that. Awesomez!

I'll have a pillage 28 Weeks Later was a dissapointment. Considered stopping the movie several times. Just far, far, faaar too many moments of ridiculous inhumanity, and too many instances of clearly awful foresight. I hear there's a third movie in the planning. Some potential there as always, but I don't have high hopes.

Cannibal Holocaust... Sorry nami, but I needed to watch something... Been a couple fo years since I last saw it, and truth be told it was more gruesome this time around. Mostly I just feel sorry for the actors, as I don't think any of them really know what they were letting themselves in for. I'm not going to pretend this is a cinematic piece of genius, but I'm not going to swipe it away just because I don't like/understand what I see. Always makes me question morality, ethics, yaddah yaddah yaddah. Next up is a race between Man Bites Dog, The Last Broadcast, 28 Days Later and Graduation Day. Lol. Yeah, what Dan says! The last six episodes of season two were suddenly rammed with stuff they wanted to pad out over at least another 18 episodes, and while that gives us a couple of "omg.. omgomgogmg!" episodes there's no time to cram all of it in. I rather they end it with tooo much suspense than just stopping it like the 4400, which felt like they'd cut the show off mid-sentance.

JUST WOKE UP!! Yay for being in sheffield. Yesterday I watched I Am Legend, played lots of games and now I'm gonna try finish Worms on the Xbox Arcade before maybe trying some Bioshock. The game pissed me off last time I played so I have a bad feeling about it. MEH.

oi, cut all this 'quite obviously' lingo - you don't think I ever actually play computer games do you? Plus looking closely is for saps. I'll accept it tho' - fo sho'! That is something future scholars will bicker and nag over for centuries to come. SUSTAINED! methinks you've spotted some foul play there. Just finished I Am Legend, and... I keep saying this about movies... I thoroughly enjoyed it. Closest I've come to tears in a movie for a looong time. Ending was, of course, wide of teh mark. The characters wosserface and Ethan had far too few character building minutes. yeah. I should take notes when I watch movies, or something. My 'ratings' are never very interesting to read. I think I'd rather hear what people didn't like about a movie and try and convince them they're wrong as opposed to saying what I liked about it and then having holes picked on my side ... Shhh :P Cite plz? </english student>

Castle Crashers is awesome. Shorty, nami and I are on the last boss and we're all around the level 20 stage. I just completed Braid! Omfgooo... the end was ace. Very smart game that makes you think, makes you frustrated but then makes you ecstatic when you figure something out. Really never bothered about speed-runs, so will probably never get the last achievement. The dude may've not recouped his losses yet, but no doubt he'll be able to find investors with little trouble for his next venture (if and when). I gotta play more Bionic Commando, geometry wars, ikaruga, N+ Rez HD, sonic 1 and 2...

I went off Palahniuk after Haunted; I couldn't finish it. Wasn't bothered about any of the characters and I don't think the poem/short story/overarching storyline was pulled off well. I remember reading the back of Rant two years ago. Not read Invisible Monsters or his latest (Snuff?), and I heard Rant might be turned into a film so I figured I should read it asap! I've only read... what, 3 bryson books? This one will at least hopefully provide me with some booya-esque moments with lecturers... Though they'll probably all read it too.
