  1. Added rummy's. He's adding one more later tonight.
  2. Dyson's list added. Somke good, yet challenging ones there!
  3. So long as everyone remembers to mark each post with the BISH and the points it earns, then I'll be a fairly care-free lupine.
  4. Just watched ep 4
  5. Heroicjanitor will have to specify; personally, I'd say no.
  6. I'll check at the post-office. 1kg is £11.99 according to some websites, so I doubt we're looking at £25 really. Will report back!
  7. Nice to see the entries piling in! Added Heroic Janitor's list!!
  8. When you speak of the written accent are you referring to the audio of that video, or the text? Aside from that - very interesting stuff. I like how you say you were on the mafia's side - I usually side with the townies. That the mafia has won in both of my games and the townies won in this one perhaps reflects something back at us...
  9. Freedom is the opportunity to choose how you waste your life. Just wanted to throw that quote out there and see if anyone gets it. The current 'debate' is ZZZZZ to me.
  10. Yes, that is fine I presume heroijan wants to play? So long as he gets his list to me ASAP then it's fine. I'd rather not be adding things to the list for too many more days, however. Just about to add Dazz's BISHes.
  11. I was knocking myself out because, as heroijan said, I thought that the mafia couldn't kill unconscious people :P Earlier in the game I was indeed suspecting everyone of nefarious behavior -- mostly because I hadn't even read a couple of pages back. Several times I accused someone of something they'd seemingly just been cleared of. I was not on form at all, but if anything I think this is the reason the mafia let me live so long - I was causing too much confusion and getting nowhere. The music in each write-up truly made a fantastic addition, really set the scene in a way that the wordy mafia write-ups could've benefited from. This and the pokemafia have taught me well, and made me want to provide a truly decent game. I think the rolesets in this mafia were great - for instance, maddog having a double vote and a night power was a stroke of genius. Each player seemed to get some form of information as well as have something shady about them. Very pleased to have my first win in what must be years.
  12. FIYAAAH! Diageo; yeah, kinda. I used to live with shorty and nami and we used to help each other with bishes. So long as you are in the picture with the BISH, it is accepted Peeps; nice identification method there - though I must stress it isn't the preferred one. In future, you ought to be in the picture yourself - just for posterity's sake! OMG WE'VE STARTED YAY!
  13. Added Nami's BISHes Well I don't know about you lot but I'm going to snap up a couple tomorrow.
  14. Badtimetorunoutofthanks. All four of the above, I agree with (no doubt someone would've posted by the time I said this so it'll probably be skewered).
  15. Ashley wins this round, methinks.
  16. I know three people who regularly gamble. One mate in sheffield who eyes the fruit machines, waiting for some fool to waste loads of money, then he dives in. He has a 100% record when I've seen him, always coming up at least a tenner richer. Another mate in brighton plays a lot of poker online, and frequently wins hundreds of dollars for coming as 8th-6th in small tournaments. Again, he's always in the plus. Neither of them are addicts or fools who believe in karma, which is probably why they're successful. A third mate from brighton/huddersfield gets scratchcards a lot - a habit formed because his mum used to send him to the shop to fetch a few every other day. He managed to wrangle a 50/50 deal for doing the fetching, so obv. he's won a few quid here and there for nothing. I've never understood gambling, so I've avoided it. however I've been tempted, in my poverty, to start playing the lottery/buying scratchcards. I know ReZ is an addict in hiding, though.
  17. Send it me now? Oh, how I've missed that dialect :P yea send it in asap It doesn't start 'til tomorrow so we still have time I'll post if any BISHes are added, providing my post don't get automerged.
  18. Eenuh; a new power every night is one of my favourite powers-i-never-had! You played very well, and it was good that you didn't come out as no doubt danny would've sought you out sooner. It has to be said that Danny played very, very well. In all honesty if he hadn't killed someone last night I was willing to say "yeah man, totally let him have his princess!" - some fortune was had with peeps' kamikaze move. When the game started I was all AFK and stuff, and when I was around I had to constantly fend off suspicion. Then I made stupid unreadable written notes when I spent hours trolling though the thread (to no reward, really). I would love to know which nights my protection actually saved a life! Look forward to Jonnas's notes and opinions!
  19. It's a problem unavoidable in mafia games - previous games have an impact on how people play. The mafia know from the offset which players are going to be trouble for them. Some players are great detectives, great confusers, or silent back-benchers, regardless of their roles. Feuds and vengeance will always be in the air - especially the mafia considers whom to kill on the first night. Somebody's gotta go, so how do they decide? Just unavoidable. It's swings and roundabouts.
  20. Well come on then. It's been more than 28 hours! :P
  21. I agree, Jonnas needs to do another - but not a gentlemen II. While that flavour was novel and brilliant, I think it just calls for self-contained themes for future games rather than another trip to the costume-drama era. For now, at least.
  22. I do agree, but I won't enforce it Some people are ugly.
  23. Ah so you did! Sorry. I knew I had missed something. OP to be altered shortly.
  24. Genuinely the best game I've ever played. Not once did I ever really feel that I could trust anyone. The tone was spot on, the paranoia was endless. If I chewed my nails, then I would've chomped through half the street's thanks to the tension this game had. A great balance of roles. I am eager to hear how the mafia feels about the game. I'm ecstatic that danny was planning to kill eenuh (in teh sense that I would've felt real guilty if we had killed him for no reason) - I suppose that if eenuh had been killed, town would still win. I guess it was a case of danny or eenuh to join us. Fantastic game all round. Words cannot describe. Posts cannot be thanked enough. Well done Jonnas. THANK YOU Jonnas!
  25. Yo - fancy a game of chess? There's a chess app on facebook and I'm always eager for a game and nobody else is bothered. I'm James Smedley and my profile pic is teh same as my forum one. I can invite you to the app if you befriend me :)
