It's the programming language that most games are made of. I believe all games on consoles are made by it, and then you use a graphics package (say SDL) to program the graphics. It's hard to take it all in though, and hard to make a nice graphics game, so most poeple use gamemaker or somehting similar.

I only played a little, I'll play more tonight, but it seems pretty Quirky and nice. I want to make a game, but I decided to learn C++ instead... I'll have a game done in a few years, check back then!

Well, my mother instructed me to buy a new pair of shoes on Saturday in town, and much to sarkas_girly's dismay I bough t beautiful brown clark ones with no laces. Now, I asked many people what they thought of them as me and sarkas_girly had such a different opinion of them and most people either hated them or loved them. I also have a £11 pair of trainers whcih are not durable, get wet easy and dry off very slowly. Also, my fake ocnverse all-stars form Next! Here they are: What are your shoes?

I love it, Hovis thick, slightly toast. Then put a pile of cheese in the middle and cook it in the microwave until the pile has spread out, it's bubbling and you can smell it throughout the house. Have that with a pint glass of milk and I'm in heaven. ^.^

Yup! And I do use aot of ...'s I should really but back on them... but I write down stuff how I hear it in my head and ... just seems to be how I explain one thing I do when I talk... kinda, stop, or think or something.

N64 because of all the fantastic games like OoT, MM, DK64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Goldeneye etc. Also, I was around at the time when all the games were getting realesed and had a bit of a hype. While whne I got my NES it was just a SNES with games, no real excitment really. I knew nothing about the SNES...

Do most big stores on Oxford Street open at midnight for a conosle launch? Or do they try and concentrate it into one store? I hope we can all meet up somewhere and have a joyous time.

The internet? I have about a fizzy drink each party I go to. I eat a white twix each day, usually two... thanks my dirty pleasure. I don't eat any other choclate though. Although I do have 3 babybels a day... so that's bad, plus cheese at school.

I want to queue outdoors for days without food or showering. However, I can't. So I'm ging to queue up for a good few hours then get one at midnight. Go to sarka_girly's Granny's house and play it on her huge TV's! Sounds like plan to me. And the Dreamcast launch report was in the Dreamcast Magazine. EDIT: I'm pretty sure I'll win that one Ashley, as I live slighty more norht than Sarkas_girly and according to my Dad it's 950 miles from my house to London.

Well it may be 10 months away (possibly) but I'm already planning my trip form Shetland to London for the Revolution launch. I'm saving up my dimes and was wondering has anyone here been to a big launch party? Like the Cube's or the Dreamcast's? I'm sure it's not that much of a party, just stores wanting to cash in... but I've seen an artical about the Dreamcast's launch and it looked freekin' sweet. Anyone had an experience of these or slept outside a store to wait?

Me and Sarkas_girly are both replaying OoT at the moment and I realised that even though this game comes up in conversation there's not a topic just for generally chatting about it. So, I just beat the Forest temple, and I've realised what an amazing epic game it really is. I can't wait to get through the fire temple and force myself through the water temple. I personally do the spirit temple before the shadow temple, but your meant to go through the game the other way I believe. Which way do you guys do it?

I feel sick just reading this, thank god I decided never to watch Saw... very well written... and I'm scared of what'll happen to me...

I'm loving these celebs, especially the guy who looks like a girl, he just seems to be great. I already don't know any names, I never get them for at least a week. It should be fun watching the gril pretending to be a celeb, although it wouldn't be to hard, I've never seen most of them before.

Wow, even though the DS had a 6 month lead I was still expecting the PSP to be outselling it here. And although the DS sold three quarters of this in a week in Japan it still looks good. If you add all the consoles figures together you get 3.252, about 500,000 different than the total. So the Gizmondo, Gamecube, Micro, PS1 and Gameboy Advance sold 500k? Or the figures aren't accurate. I just wanted to do some maths really. ^.^

Well, so far me, sarkas_girly and another person went outside but sarkas_girly was too scared to help us stalk someone's house, who we knew anyway, but she was really scary and pretended to be a rock in the dark! (and a traffic cone) Then she was being loud and annoying whilst I fell asleep. Then she CHEATED in Monopoly, and now we're off to my Granny's which will be great ¬_¬
