I would have joined tonight but my TV which has been on the way out for the best part of a year finally became unusable as of last night, so I set about taking the old set out and dismantling my make-shift TV stand which I've had for ages, and then I didn't get around to setting up the new set yet, so here's hoping all will be OK for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow night.
On the upside, I now have the two NES consoles back that I was using as part of the stand... they were £10 or less items when I originally bought them... they probably cost as much as a decent TV stand now.
I've got some wooden units ready to make a new TV stand, as I knew this day would come, I just need to sort it all out, heck I got the replacement TV over a year ago, when I noticed the old one was on its way out.
Anyway, I'm glad to see that you still got to play, it's just a shame that I couldn't play and stream it tonight, but I should be back to gaming tomorrow night, for now, I'm just typing this as I'm using my second monitor (now set up at the correct height) to just catch up on everything I've missed this evening.

Master Sword, eh? Four months? It could be worse...
He could have been put away for seven years...

You get something for replying but nothing extra for quoting or mentioning. Or emojis.
I am not 100% sure about the email address thing but I can DM you my personal one so you can get in touch if you do have problems if you want?
Good to know.
Also, that would be appreciated, thanks. Just in case, as I probably won't try to change it for a day or two (or at all if there are any known issues) but it just looked like a potentially useful feature, especially if we have any members who signed up with an old e-mail address which they maybe don't use, but managed to sign in with it, and wanted to use an alternative e-mail address.

Seems you get 5 points for any reply and HOT has just been busy posting and reacting.
Well, now that the forum has a built-in achievement / trophy system, I can't say I'm too surprised that @Hero-of-Time is busy unlocking everything.
...
Do I get something for replying, quoting, mentioning and using a classic emoji in the same post?
Edit- what about editing a post?
Excellent to see the forums upgraded and working well, thanks @Shorty and thanks @Ashley for answering everyones questions.
I have one... I noticed that you can change the e-mail address that your account is associated with, this all works fine I presume?
Just that I was considering changing it to my main e-mail address that I use for most accounts, but if it's best that I leave it for a day or two, then I will, but it looks like everything is working well.

Perfect Dark on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack - N-Europe Multiplayer (28/06/2024)
Thanks for the games.
We had some great multiplayer matches, including one Knives Only match, and one with proximity mines... which went as expected.
The challenges are great as well, fun to play in co-op, just don't chuck grenades with 'proximity pinall' setting, with one hit kills and expect it to go well.

I was watching this at work today... (well it is a game shop)
An excellent showing, I'll be checking a few of those trailers again for sure.
The original Perfect Dark, finally available with Online play on a Nintendo platform, that'll do.
Metroid Prime 4 looked fantastic as well.

I wonder if the Direct will arrive this week? The SGF and Xbox shows done nothing for me and so I'm hoping Nintendo are able to deliver something half decent.
You can almost count on it, calling it now...
Nintendo Direct Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 at 17:00 UK time.
Look out for the usual roundup article, shortly after the presentation has aired.

That was a great night. Most close matches so far I think.
Anyway I urge anyone who want to die of laughter to go was the stream and skip to the match that starts at the 50 minute mark (it’s like 49:50) them just enjoy the hilarity at the 51:10 mark. I think we all died of laughter on chat right there. At around 51:17 to be precise.
I was playing as Wii Fit Trainer, who clearly had crate expectations.
Also, let's not forget the 01:12:00 mark in the stream, where I lost an entire stock as Zelda, right at the end of the match because I warped at precisely the right/wrong? moment.
Oh, also... also... at the 02:00:53 mark, it was all going pretty well, it was a close match with me playing as Terry, and well... let's just say it had an explosive finish.
You're welcome.
Join us next week for more Smash-tastic shenanigans.

This looks like Crash Bandicoot crossed with Donkey Kong Country... interesting.
Nice trailer, shame about the music, but at least the real in-game soundtrack shouldl be a lot better, due to the involvement of David Wise.
I noticed it states 'arranged by' and not 'composed by. though... either way, this looks like it should turn out pretty well.
