Ive been hyped for the Wii for a very long time now, and the only thing that helped and still helps is just not thinking about it. To be honest, I'm not really that excited about the Wii anymore, but even when I look around in this forum I'm getting more and more excited :P Not playing many games lately anyway, but I guess that's going to change when I've got a Wii I'll be very lucky to get one on 8 December, because I don't think there will be a midnight launch where I live, and I've got to go to school the next day before I have time to go to the shop

I agree, I think every single journalist there is thinking "enough of the stuff we all know, tell us the date and price!". I guess Nintendo's just deliberately building up the tension :p

Welcome indeed Anyway, I've also been wondering whether you can use the bongo's on the Wii. I hope it's not like with the DS, where they restrict you to only playing GBA games from the GBA slot, just so they still could sell some GBA's

If we're getting it sooner than Japan, I'm betting on 1st of December. If we don't get it sooner, it will probably launch somewhere around December 20th.

Kinda unfair to count the game and controller, because you'd also be an idiot to buy a Wii without a game imo. And an extra controller is also a must-have for most people, and that makes the Wii package more expensive too. I agree with you though that you shouldn't buy a core pack, just because you don't get a HD and wireless controller.

Is there any other info about that game? I only saw about 3 seconds of gameplay footage. I was quite surprised by that too. At first I thought it was a nice little extra, but now I don't. If it's something like 500-1000 Wii-points it would be ok, but any more than that and I don't need it anymore...
