I don't trust play.com. Simple reason - my sister preordered the Razorlight album from them - it took ages to arrive - a time after release! I'm ordering everything from Amazon.co.uk as soon as pre-orders are activated. My lot will be: Wii bundle Second controller & nunchuk Zelda Twilight Princess Red Steel

Question about Nintendos european distribution
antster1983 replied to brucedes's topic in General Chit Chat
I think Koch Media distribute Nintendo games within the UK. -
Owen Hargreaves is only in the squad because he wrote to Jim'll Fix It After all, no-one can think of any other reason why he's in there

Galaxy :awesome: Much smoother than Dairy Milk.

Don't forget the Latics fans - they were given blue "I Was There" T-shirts for the occasion. And some of them stayed for the Final Salute. Bless 'em Bet the blue ones'll be worth a mint in a few years...

I wonder, am I the only Wigan Athletic supporter on this forum? Tch... can't believe they drew against Birmingham City on Saturday. This is supposed to be a team pushing for a UEFA Cup place, yet they have a key weakness - defending against set pieces. If they don't sort out this Achilles' Heel once and for all, they will definetly struggle next season.

Great to see everyone still has a GameCube collection, weeks after everywhere except the internet is ceasing stock. Now's the time to pick up a bargain folks  As places like GAME and GameStation eventually phase out GameCube stock, they're gonna put some classic titles at bargain prices, so get 'em while you still can!

At least we don't have to put up with Tim "Looks Like He's Just Drunk 15 Cans Of Stella" Street inside anymore! Let's hope Future's team can inject new life into the magazine. New team, new look, New Order... erm... yes. Let's not forget a new level of maturity and humour that is more Have I Got News For You than Big Brother. By the way, Emap's magazine was called "Nintendo Magazine System" at the start. And boy that was a magazine!

Well, Wigan thumped Man City 4-3, so I wasn't far off. Followed by a 2-0 victory over the Hammers before coming an awful cropper against Blackburn. Knocked for three. I'm confident of a win against Birmingham today. Then again, who isn't?

Anyone got an opinion on any of today's fixtures? I reckon Wigan will beat Manchester City 2-1

Anyone else here got Serious Sam II on Xbox? I just bought it, and it's quite good. So many enemies on very colourful stages. Very unlike most shooters out there with greys and browns and sniper rifles. Xbox Live playability is a little disappointing. The only mode is co-op play. Let's hope for an addon with deathmatch and capture the flag online modes (solo and team).

I saw this in an advert in the Daily Mirror today - the GameCube Mario Smash Football bundle - with that nice pearly white GameCube - only £49.99! I'm going down to Argos tomorrow and hoping they have some in stock. Anyone else who needs another GameCube (like me - mine died a few months ago) should really consider this!

Hey I like Fire Emblem! I'm still playing the first GBA game - I'm on chapter 26x, trying not to get anyone killed - and failing miserably every time! Doesn't stop me trying though

Any Skids playing tonight? I'll hopefully be online about 10-ish.

So... I never got round to pre-ordering the game. Too many things got in the way. Plus my GameCube died So it'll have to wait until I get another GameCube. Here's a question to anyone who has this game: is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance worth getting?

It was announced a few days ago on Blizzard's forums that the GameCube version of StarCraft: Ghost has been canned. MicahW on the battle.net forums explains: Unfortunately the GameCube version of the game was decided to be dropped. In order to provide the game envisioned by the console team a set and readily available online solution was needed. Unfortunately the GameCube has no online service and since so much work is going in to the online portion, it would be additional work to release only part of the intended game. Nintendo systems certainly aren't something that we are against supporting. Blizzard in its entirety is based upon earlier games for Nintendo systems. The GameCube and Revolution will still be cosidered for future products, unfortunately Ghost will only be made available on the Xbox and PS2 at this time. He then went on to explain why they didn't think of using the GameCube Broadband Adaptors: I believe the GameCube network adapters were discontinued within the US. That would mean it would be necessary for us to include an adapter with each copy sold. While a great deal of focus is being put in to the online multiplayer, it's not enough to warrant the extra cost of a copy of the game for consumers if it had to include the network adapter. In any case there are many reasons why the GameCube version was cut, but it all boils down to being able to provide the best game experience possible to our fans. So, a sad day for fans who bought a GameCube solely for Starcraft: Ghost. I do feel bad for you On the other hand, I have an Xbox and Xbox Live, so I'm happy! :p

Old news. Ain't gonna happen. Close this thread please.

Great photos from Oli1983uk and rokhed00 there. Nice collections! But all those Xbox games, rokhed00, and I never see you on Xbox Live... I'm currently not buying GameCube games at the moment - my GameCube is broken Would it be cheaper for me to buy a second-hand system than send it to Nintendo for repairs? I am out of warranty as I've had it since European launch.

GBA version is released on the same day

The highlight is Terry Wogan and his irreverent commentary - "Belgium - haha! Luxembourg - what a load of shoÃte!"

Signed. This is barbaric and cruel. It must be stopped
