Now that my ice skating "skillz" have picked up a little, I might just do that. Bowling was a hit with my last girlfriend, but I reckon it's more a group thing. What do you think? Zoo is also a great idea. Never been paintballing personally, but my girl would clearly give me a pasting.

Music - Queen's Don't Stop Me Now in particular brings back many pleasant memories, while Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part 1) by Pink Floyd completely chills me out after a hard day. And I challenge anyone to listen to Floyd's Bike without smiling. Amigos - nothing in the world is better than chilling out with the people who matter most; your friends. If you have a significant other, so to speak, being close to that person is often enough to wash away any unpleasant feelings. Videogames - Take out your anger on the people you hate with a bit of RE4, concentrate on some smooth powerslides in OutRun 2, or lose yourself with some Electroplankton. It's all good. EDIT - Haver's suggestion is also recommended.

Word, breres. If the cinema is getting old, and the romantic meal at a fancy restaurant is a little too cliched for your tastes, where do you take your loved one on dates? No "I don't have a girlfriend" whinging here please. Save it for the other thread.

This is clearly a love/hate game, judging by the mixed feedback on this and other forums. Personally, I think it's aces.

Count me in. I'm about 5ft 10in 68 kilos I'm RE Staff I enjoy videogames, classic rock (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zep etc) and some modern rock (Razorlight, Libertines, Babyshambles etc), martial arts (karate and Wing Chun), and reading/writing. I also enjoy acting, and I'm soon to be managing a rock band (Sylvester Meadow). I also own nunchaku (nunchucks)! So, y'know, I'm cooler than dabookerman.

As my dear friend Atif knows, I am a fan of Pete/Babyshambles/Libertines, and so I have this album on pre-order. I eagerly await the release. I've heard acoustic versions of most of those songs, and so I know that they're pure genius lyrically. The newspapers don't highlight Doherty's sensitive, thoughtful, poetic side that's so apparent in his songwriting. The drugs are destroying him, which is a real shame, because he is a very talented chap indeed. Which song is it that you dislike?

Monopolyman - yeah, I intend to borrow The Kinks greatest hits from my friend. I'm also aware that I need to pick up some Hendrix. I also love The Animals' "House of the Rising Sun", but I don't know enough of their songs to justify buying an album of theirs. Moria - Franz's new album is on my list. I think Oasis's new single is awesome, but can you please justify a purchase of the album? As for Queen '86, I would...but I already have their Night at the Opera album on my list. Platty - I have heard good things about those first three artists in particular, but haven't heard their music. Mind sending over a few tracks over MSN? Anyone here have KT Tunstall's album? Thoughts?
