  1. They do something good and still people demand more and complain...
  2. Never looked better IMO. Can't wait to sink my teeth into the single player campaign.
  3. The first person perspective just freaks me out a bit when it comes to shooters. I know Metroid isn't exclusively a shooter, but that's basically what you do most of the time.
  4. @Wii got owned http://lmgtfy.com/?q=nintendo+direct+youtube Err apart from the over a dozen 1st party games out this year for Wii U. There'll be another 4 big Directs this year + E3, they don't have to reveal all in January.
  5. Anyone know if GAME takes your money now or only at shipping?
  6. Never played a Metroid Prime game, but I'm not really into first person shooters. 2D Metroids on the other hand! Those Wii remotes are amazing. More money thrown at Nintendo.
  7. Better screen (pixel density), fits in your pocket, faceplates, SNES style buttons. I like my current XL but it's a bit of a beast and the low res screen doesn't look all that great.
  8. Glad to hear there's a 3DS version, it seems far suited to that than Wii U, though the cross buy is nice. I like the star idea of being able to unlock new assets or tip level creators as a thank you.
  9. Lame amiibo addition tbf, maybe they're holding back proper content for a future Captain Toad amiibo.
  10. The new Mario Bros ones look really good. I think I'll just give up getting every single Smash ones and just concentrate on the ones I like.
  11. Unfortunately this basically means they won't be offering a Galaxy 1 + 2 HD remake on Wii U. Big shame.
  12. It's pretty disturbing seeing Ninty try the free-to-play Candy Crush model. I suppose it sells so you can understand why they're trying it.
  13. Anywaaay, about the actual game... looks fantastic IMO. Really like the hub world, and just visually the whole game looks lovely. Can't wait. Facepalm. I'm glad you don't really care about this game either. Carry on ignoring the gems that Nintendo have to offer while the rest of us have a blast playing them.
  14. 3DS: 8 million from 45 million install base (18%) Gamecube: 2.3 million from 22 million (10%) DS: 11.7 million from 154 million (8%) Wii: 3.4 million from 101 million (3%) The Wii one was easily the worst selling. Nearly a 20% attach rate on the 3DS is remarkable. What a huge success New Leaf is.
  15. Toki Tori 2 is a turd, I don't need to play it, I just know.
  16. You were on the right track with your first post about the ND. Don't get your hopes up, they've said it will talk about Spring games, games you don't care about like Mario Maker, Yoshi, Kirby etc
  17. Bear in mind I've only played New Leaf. I just think Animal Crossing seems so much more suited to handhelds. Pick up and play at various points in the day, it's like having another life in your pocket. Personally I find I need to set aside time in the day to play on a console. With my 3DS I can play ten minutes or more whenever I want all day.
  18. I can't imagine playing an AC game on a home console. I suppose it might shift a few Wii Us
  19. I want a Captain Turd amoeba please Ninty
  20. Remastering an N64 game for a console three generations in the future would involve far too much work to ever be worth it IMO. You can't just improve character models and make the textures high res, the whole world needs to be remade. Would you really rather it took away from Zelda U development? OOT3D looked great on 3DS and I'm sure this will too.
  21. If only Wii Sports were a gigabyte or two bigger then it would feel like a proper game eh. Galaxy 2 had some really terrible levels, like this one. Ugly and uninspired. It really did feel like DLC, with all the ideas they couldn't squeeze into the original.
  22. The amount of work involved to port Majora's Mask to the Wii U and have it looking worthy of the console would be 10x the amount of effort that is going into the 3DS port. I'd rather they spent all that time and effort on Zelda U.
  23. The immaturity is astounding, though sadly highly common in the gaming industry. This is their list, nothing should be chopped from their list because they came up with it. If you want to do your own list feel free but there's nothing wrong with theirs. Definitely the original for me. Better music and better levels. The sequel was good fun but the galaxies had a quantity over quality feel to them, a few in particular felt very lazy and uninspired. Also storyline wise Galaxy 1 felt like a coherent adventure whereas the sequel seemed more like DLC.
  24. Not bad for that spotty like sh1t Captain Turd right @Wii There is no way you're in your 30's
