  1. I hope they sell same colour packs of two, LKD mentioned they will, but I can't see it online.
  2. It seems quite a minimal little feature that probably wasn't difficult or expensive to implement. They introduce a new innovation with each gen and this is one of them. On another note, are we expecting a Switch Direct sometime in the next 7 weeks? Maybe go over the OS a bit, Virtual Console etc?

    Arms

The character designs are really cool, actually the whole design and look of the game is nice. Hopefully there's enough meat to the game
  4. Didn't realise the Pro controller had gyro (makes sense) and HD Rumble, that's cool. Sounds like it's very comfortable to hold as well
  5. Obviously it's the right thing t do, but it also would have been very easy of them to put back the Wii U release by a couple of weeks to sell more Switches, like they did with the Wii.
  6. HD Rumble does sound amazing, hope they find some good uses for it. What sort of demo showed it off, the ice cube trick? Oh and yeah that parental controls video is just brilliant.
  7. 2TB in something the size of a micro SD card, what a time to be alive!
  8. With Pikmin 3DS, Ever Oasis, that Mario Superstars sports game etc coming after the Switch release, it's not just PR speak.
  9. Encouraging about more to come in the coming weeks. Ditto Reggie and his "let's see what's happened by this time next year" comment, re Metroid and Mother 3. Because they're not ditching the 3DS
  10. Yeah I thought the English voices were pretty good from what we heard. Funny how we were all worried there'd be no narrative and it would be like the NES game, but actually looks like the most story heavy of the series. Pleased to see it's not just the usual rescue the princess storyline (though I'm sure she'll need some kind of aid)
  11. I can't believe we get that fugly cover art. The NA one is beautiful!
  12. In addition to Ashley's impressions, this also seems to be getting really great reviews on Twitter. Looks fun
  13. I was a bit down on this at first but watching the trailer again I enjoyed it a lot more. That said the visuals look very rough. 3D World looked far prettier, and it actually had a very cohesive style. This needs a ton of polish.
  14. Thoughts: - Everything is just too expensive. £280 for the console is possibly acceptable but the extortionate accessory costs make it less so. Games being £60 is just ridiculous. I'd rather they went the day one DLC, Season Pass but kept prices at 40-45, route of the competition. - The launch line-up is terrible. Zelda is obviously the crown jewel and to get a likely GOTY contender at launch is fantastic but the lack of anything else is a huge blow. - No pack in game is very disappointing. I adored NintendoLand, I'm hugely turned off by 1-2 Switch and Arms just looks boring. - No new race tracks in MK8D? Jesus. - Splatoon 2 is nice, I just hope there's a new single player - The UI looks slick but the system itself feels very barebones. Aren't there any cool features? Where's the likes of Streetpass or Miiverse. - Zelda looks incredible - Mario does not. It looked so rough, I was relieved when it was 10-12 months away - An early release date is nice, until you realise they're only planning on selling two million in one month Very disappointed. It's a huge cost and judging from reaction a lot of people have become completely turned off by it. They need a huge E3 to hopefully turn around inevitably lacklustre sales. Nintendo of America must be banging their head against a wall.
  15. ... Presentation at 4am, pre-order at 6am (UK time)
  16. I'd rather Nintendo's approach of showing the next 6-12 months than what others do and show games two or three years out, if not more. So pointless and counter-productive. And yes I realise Nintendo did this with Zelda but at that time I'm sure they did plan on releasing it sooner, and regardless it's an exception in their case.
  17. If they are releasing Mario and Zelda on the same day they'll need an impressive E3 showing to keep the hype going, especially going up against Scorpio with all its teraflops. I guess this could be the first Mario game without an E3 showing!
  18. They'll have enough on their plate anyway with Mario, Zelda, Splatoon, MK8, a couple of first party reveals and the third party stuff. Not to mention the features of the console itself. I guess not long to find out. 13 hours to be exact !
  19. I'm sure they will do just that! I think expecting too many surprises of 2018 or even Christmas 2017 games from this event is unrealistic though. Edit: @Goron_3 put it better
  20. I think we also need to remember, and as others have said, that E3 will be three months after Switch's release. They need a massive showing there with lots of reveals so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much about today's presentation in terms of surprises.
  21. They aren't a part of Nintendo as far as I'm aware? They just leak all their secrets. Having LKD to be as big as Miyamoto on that graphic is just ridiculous, IMO.
