  1. HD rumble apparently used in Zelda, both on the joycons and the Pro controller. Not confirmed by Nintendo but common sense and a couple of reports from those at the European events... http://wccftech.com/zelda-breath-of-the-wild-hd-rumble/
  2. You're not asking me why I brought them up, but you were giving me shit for it. “Really the attribution of fault should go to Ronnie - who yet again felt the need to bring up the PS4/DS4s in a Nintendo thread about Switch - something which we've seen time and time again leads to such derailments.” So forgive me for defending myself against your latest tedious attack. The latest sly dig at my reading comprehension is as pathetic as it was the first time you said it, now with added condescension, bravo. Because I chose not to, it was my post after all. As I've already told you (what were you saying about reading comprehension?) I chose to only bring up the DS4 because a brand new model had just been announced ten minutes prior. It was the fairest comparison. Just released RRP v soon to be released RRP, as opposed to Xbox One controllers which have been out for ages. *shakes head* A basic level of common sense would tell you that I was looking at both Nintendo and Playstation. 50 and 60 quid Pro controllers. Industry standard price approx £55. Well done to the PS4 for selling well this gen though.
  3. It'll be £12 on Amazon within a few weeks, probably by the time we all finish Zelda
  4. I brought up the PS4 because ten minutes prior to my post Sony had announced new DS4s, at an RRP of £50. I thought it was relevant to the discussion about controller prices. Is that alright with you? Considering this thread is full of people disagreeing with you that the DS4 is solidly built, it sounds more like you're the one who's been lucky.
  5. The Wii U Pro Controller mimicked the Gamepad. As has been pointed out to you, it can't be symmetrical for one joy-con each local multiplayer to work. I mentioned them because I wanted to get across the industry standard RRP of controllers and how it compared to the Switch. Very simple. You're not allowed to mention anything to do with Xbox or Playstation on the Switch thread. @Rummy told me so.
  6. No they couldn't. You can't have the right joy-con one configuration and the Pro controller another. They have to be the same.
  7. The joy-cons + grip is the only controller you need for Switch. Having an optional extra isn't a bad thing. I bought a second DS4 for two player gaming, just like I'll buy a Switch Pro controller for near enough the same price.
  8. Hyrule Historia is perhaps what you're after, full of concept art and info about each game. This is just a collection of official artwork from the series, no bad thing IMO given how gorgeous the artwork often is.
  9. DualShock6 and Scorpio controllers will now have HD rumble, guaranteed. That's the key, needs devs to take advantage of it. Could provide some great immersive experiences.

According to GAME, release date is April 15th
  11. Everyone who's actually used it said it was impressive. So no I'm very keen to try it out. Given rumble has been such an important part of gaming since the N64, a better version of it can only be a good thing.
  12. The official Nintendo store has always sold them for £60
  13. Ask again in three years, then you'll get a fairer comparison. I was talking RRP. Sony are selling just released Dual Shock 4s for £50.
  14. Good ad, gets the message across and shows enough gameplay.
  15. £50 for new just announced DualShock4s for a three year old console. Suddenly £60 for the Switch Pro sounds about right.
  16. It was delayed one year and then a few months to coincide with Switch's launch. Pretty much every big game is delayed these days. Happens everywhere
  17. Just seen this, great video, I'd definitely recommend others watch.
  18. One thing I would say is that I wish the colours in the game itself were as vibrant and saturated as on the back of the box. The game seems a bit too misty for my liking but who knows how it'll look when actually playing. Have to agree I really like the way Zelda looks in this game. I didn't like the Skyward Sword version at all.
  19. I can't decide who I admire more, the EAD game designers or the artists who come out with such incredible work.
