Yeah, but it shouldn't be a factor. The 3DS XL is not intended to replace the 3DS in the market, but to co-exist with the original model and by putting improvements to things such as that would not work. As such, these factors shouldn't be considered

All of which do not belong in an updated model. It'd destroy consumer faith, it'd make people think the 3DS is obsolete, it'd make developers have to make a choice about resolutions, circle pad inclusion etc. which could screw over the 18,000,000 3DS owners that exist. Complaints such as that show lack of knowledge in the industry

You guys read Eurogamer's review of this? They're completely trashing it for not being a new console i.e. not having a second circle pad, not increasing the resolution, changing the type of touchscreen etc

Still, it's better than most other consoles where it's next to nothing until November...

Japan just got Ice Climber. What's interesting to note is that it has Download Play for multiplayer. Hopefully this starts a precedent

With the seasons since the start of the HD production season, when the episodes have been good, they have been good. They went for a while where they stopped relying on guest stars but unfortunately they fell off the wagon. That said, when it's good it is still good, but when it's bad... There was an episode a few years ago which would have been the perfect ending for it. It wasn't the funniest episode but it was touching and would have served well as afinale. It was called "Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind". An episode like that as the finale would be grand
