  1. This one is less shallow than the Wii one, but more than the 3DS
  2. I just have a low tolerance for these sorts of things. It cannot be helped, but rest assured, my statement was in jest. I haven't had much time to visit GAF today as I have been covering a new game for the site
  3. The screams from GAF are too much to handle. Seriously, this may be a good thing. As much as you may want to dispute it, Iwata handles Japan well. Now, he has more control over NOA so that'd sort America out
  4. I just hope the pull back on their estimates a bit to be a bit more realistic.
  5. Contrary to what many believe across the internet, turnarounds do not happen overnight. They're a gradual thing as production prices come down, releases are done and so forth. This shows that they ARE turning it around. Plus, not long after the launch of the PS3, Sony's games division was losing this every month and a half. It goes to show
  6. I really am looking forward to this. Seems to be an interesting shift in the established mechanics
  7. Because it was in the last one :p
  8. People said the same of the 3DS two years ago :p
  9. So long as you register them on Club Nintendo, yeah
  10. http://www.nintendo.co.uk/SoMany3DSGamesPromotion Seems like a great deal!
  11. Makes sense though. According to Next Level, there's a file size limit for Download Play and it just wouldn't be feasible to have all those assets, essentially the entire game, through it
  12. Licensing just kills digital distribution. Especially now where once the license is over, the game is removed forever from existence
  13. The Rayman Legends Challenges game is out this week for free
  14. Feel bad for anyone who relies on you on whether to pull the plug since you say the Wii U is on life support and then it is dead in the same paragraph :p I am surprised at NFS. It's a fantastic game, but I guess it is a late port and EA didn't exactly market it
  15. I'd like to see Sound-type personally. It's already established, around two dozen moves are listed as Sound and other than the 5 that aren't, they're all Normal-type so could be easily converted. There's also an ability which renders those move useless. Type (dis)advantages could be determined by how sound affects things. Vibrations can be strong enough to cripple Rock etc. while neutral to things like Fire and Electricity and can be disrupted easily by Water etc. which it'd be not effective against. Established Pokémon could be like Jigglypuff, Kricketune, Meloetta etc. I struggle to see the logic in a Fairy-type. It just doesn't seem to fit. What would its weaknesses and resistances be? It just doesn't seem to fit as logical. At least it's not as bad as the "Love-type" a certain webmaster is pushing as likely. I mean what the hell is that?
  16. I hope to god we do, as does Japan. If I have to download the update just before Rumble U, I will not be a happy chappy
  17. I'm thinking 6 I tried but it kept bringing up the wrong game when I started the survey
  18. I'm fairly certain we'll have more than one game
  19. Ahead of its release on Wednesday, Nintendo has published details about the file size of the upcoming Wii U game, Pokémon Rumble U. On the eShop, it lists that this game will take up at least 832.5MB of disk space with the save file taking up at least 16MB. This allows for the game to be downloaded on both the Wii U Basic and Premium sets without immediate need for an external hard drive.
  20. That was a great episode. I wasn't expecting much from the trailer last week, but this was really good. I'm really loving what seems to be building in regards to Clara and the TARDIS
  21. That's the reason many Mario Kart DS stages were not online
  22. Laws of physics at their finest. Most games use extrapolation to have near seamless play due to ping. While most of the time it does run smoothly these days, split second acts are just not possible 2D platforming where players can interact, and minigames such as the ones here, just aren't feasible over long distances due to latency. As such, they'd rather no online than gimped online I hate it as much as you, but I can see the reasoning.
  23. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping
  24. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but this does require me posting. I was checking for Pokémon domains from the provider as I do twice a week and I spotted something in the registrations two days ago: NewYoshisIsland.com It may be nothing, we see domains get registered all the time but it could be a sign of the name. MarioandLuigiDreamTeamBros.com was also registered on the same day. So yeah, discuss...
