From the experience of friends with 3DS who that happened to, Nintendo either transferred the eShop history and IDs to the new 3DS, or funded the wallet on the eShop so that you could repurchase everything

Just noticed this. That isn't the case in my experience. In Assassin's Creed 4, I've been playing and have been informed in real-time that @markderoos has found a white whale (thanks for that btw), and connecting to the multiplayer is just a simple button press rather than selecting single player. As for unified account? Opening it up for games to be downloaded on any console you log in to is just asking for trouble.

From what I read, they made it so parties can't be with people in different games any more, and a variety of other mess-ups

I was in HMV on Saturday They had an entire cabinet area think for Wii U, an entire one for 360, an entire one for PS3 and a small corner for Xbox One & Playstation 4.

Some screenshots appeared Confirmed for Wii U and 3DS (and 360/Xbone & PS3/PS4/Vita). Focuses just on the first two films. Seriously, why do that? Delay it a couple of months and include the third...

Just hope it helps. The Wii U deserves success. It's a glorious console, more powerful than people give it credit for, too...

See, that's the thing. Part of the reason for the prolonged financial losses was because the 3DS was taking off. It was being sold at considerable lost after the price-cut, and that's where it took off. Nintendo's financials are only just starting to recover

The Wii U in the UK is pretty much screwed, yeah. The UK has rarely embraced Nintendo consoles.
