Pic of the day. Here's a new mini-game that's quite a bit different from Coin Launcher in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's called Trophy Rush! The details…will be kept secret for now.

I really want the last one. Seems like it'd be the most fun.

The concept of Off-TV play is just to duplicate what is on the TV and have it on the GamePad. It has never added extra bits.

Coming to the Wii U eShop tomorrow in Japan Pigeon Hunter Hunt pigeons with the Wii Remote. Your goal is to find a bride for the pigeon Popota, and you have to evaluate the pigeons you find Centre Heroes Competitive game. Up to five players can play. You have to be as close to the centre of the screen when a photo is taken. You can knock around and fight other players for the middle Shimanagame (My translation skills suck, just FYI) In this game, you have to travel through an island collecting various items to help a cloud Combat Bases The goal of this game is to build up a base to protect your spaceship from attacks. ======== Obviously these are small games, but I'd love to give a few of them a go. They're done by Tezuka.

Is there a way to recover quicker? I keep seeing people recover from things quickly, but whenever I do, I come to complete stop and take forever to start up again.

Just store all your Pokémon in Bank, be sure to pay the fee, and just come back later. Just saw this. Oh hells no. Do you really want me to break out the Serebii listing skills? :P

You can use the save data transfer tool, but that only goes physical to digital, it can't go the other way so if you sell it and get it again, you'd have to get it digital
-
Oh no you didn't!

Isn't that what they're doing with CoD Advanced Warfare on the Xbox One & PS4?
-
It may have started on a console, but that doesn't mean that it sells better on a console. When it shifted to portable, its sales hot up, and since then, portable versions have sold very well while console ones have had modest sales at best.
-
But Monster Hunter sells best on portables, that's why it sticks to it.

Yeah but I prefer Nintendo to Sony :p Plus, Sony is showing signs of ditching the handheld market. So them gaining MH exclusivity is pointless.
-
Needs to be Nintendo. Can't risk losing MH exclusivity, plus it'd help fill some of the genre holes in the Wii U line-up and mean we may get a Mega Man revival. Capcom's market capital atm is only $500m so Nintendo could do it easily, and it'd vastly expand their revenue and output.

Not as weak as the other formats. It has Bayonetta, which while niche is a gamer's dream. We have Hyrule Warriors which is bound to sell big in Japan. Captain Toad will appeal to many. Wii Sports Club retail package will do well if well marketed. amiibo comes this year, too and that's bound to have a decent pick-up and, as you said, Super Smash Bros. which will certainly have a MK8 level boost, probably larger. It has a steady stream of titles to carry momentum. Wii U also has the highest amount of exclusive content coming this year. Even PS4's linchpin title for this autumn, LittleBigPlanet 3, is coming out on PS3.

I thought those numbers were unconfirmed. What the hell brought that Vita jump? -
General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion

Are you capable of having some positivity? Good god man. You're more pessimistic than pessimistic pete from Pessimistington on a very pessimistic day. Why can't you let a positive be a positive? -
Pic of the day. Here's Dr. Eggman's machine, Eggrobo. It'll appear as a guest character in Smash Run and attack you with laser beams.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Serebii replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Considering Mario Kart 8 only had two days on sale in May, that's spectacular. Hardware sales for Wii U were up 85% on the past May, too. -
We'll see. The Wii U is having a decent turn-around now, though. I am seeing so many people say they're getting one/got one. Not Nintendo hardcore fans, and not just gamers too. There is a turnaround happening. It'll be relatively small, but it's happening.
-
If we count all indie titles, we'll have similar amounts for the Wii U and you know it. Also, you say that, but EA could have done what they're doing with FIFA on the 3DS, Wii and Vita and just re-release the old one on the Wii U with new rosters, but they're not even doing that which indicates a big issue to me. Nothing to do with power or specs, and the Xbox One's install base is smaller.

July; Wii Sports Club. If marketed well, it could lure people in with it and Mario Kart August: Not sure September: Hyrule Warriors October: Bayonetta November: Sonic Boom November/December: Smash, Captain Toad These are Nintendo paid for software. Then there's download titles, games like Skylanders and Disney Infinity and so forth. Yes, it's a bit more sparse than a console with third party support, but you are negligent to ignore things. Things will improve. I never said they'd suddenly take off and the Wii U would be the best selling console ever. I said improve. Learn to read. I grow weary of having to reiterate my point to you in discussions here because you fail to properly read what I say, and just assume. Edit: Actually to prevent arguments, I'm re-adding you to the ignore list.

I have had the absolute worst evening on this. Hit by every shell, every green shell, two bullet bills in a row. Good god lol
-
I don't believe they could. I honestly don't. I believe that even if they made a powerful console, more powerful than the PS4, it sold well and was the easiest to develop for, then most third parties would still skip it. EA's shunning of the Wii U is evidence of this. 3DS selling well and having next to no third party support, too.
-
Before then, it fluctuated in the 90s. The way you painted it, it was as if it has been a consistent major drop. Also, yes it doesn't solve anything, but it's a bloody start. Things don't suddenly turn around in a day. Don't be an idiot. Nintendo has a positive buzz around the Internet now. Not just people like us, but in the press. To say otherwise would be to be a complete idiot. A positive buzz, coming off of a fantastic launch of Mario Kart 8, with improving Wii U sales, is the start of turning things around. Wii U will never get third party support, accept that. Nothing anyone can do will change that.
