There is no Monolith 3DS title. The other two are possible, but seeing as it's Japan only, I'm not seeing it

In-game, you're right, Megas are seldom used. Typically to make a boss trickier. In competitive and multiplayer, though, they have changed everything

While we may think "God, 3DS...should be Wii U", think about it. We know of around a dozen upcoming Wii U titles from Nintendo. We know of a grand total of three 3DS titles from Nintendo.

This is happening a lot with this EDGE interview piece. Take Splatoon. In it, they said they considered other IPs, including Mario, for it before settling on the new characters. Now, there are articles, threads etc. around the net saying things like "At one point, Splatoon was set to star Mario instead of being a new IP." Giving the full facts and full story doesn't get hits really.

I'm talking about the focus of the games, not the quantity. The focus on the games they showed was clearly the core gamer.

I can see them continuing it as Mario Kart, but with special guests as DLC in the future. I honestly don't see it turning into "Nintendo Kart" or "Mario Kart: All-Stars". That would be the shark jumping moment really
