Indeed. I've come across about 4 or 5 /b/tards whilst on there. One about 20 minutes ago. But you can have some funny conversations with some people.

Went to a noodle bar for lunch with fellow forumite Wesley. ...¬_¬ lol. it was good. Got told about an awesome website I'm not sure deserves mentioning but I'll mention it anyway. http://omegle.com/ - Talk to strangers. It pretty much ends up talking to idiots that want to have a bit of fun but sometimes you'll get the one person who'll you'll have a good conversation with. My lecturers are pretty awesome. Today he came up to me, asked me if I was doing work (to which I replied no) and then asked me if I wanted to play Counter Strike. Then told others to join in. Ridiculous. Still I shot him the back of the head so it was all good.

Cheers guys. Good to know. Also it seems Microsoft has taken money out of a non existent credit card... I don't understand how my renewal for Live has still gone through. I better not get charged more because of this.

Yesterday was enjoyable. Got results back from a test which my teacher said it was a joy to mark. Got 94.8%. Awesomesauce. A brief fill in, one of my lecturers, for a module, works for Creative North. I find now that he actually started it up... Anyways after a presentation (which I hear got ballsed up) yesterday of the game we had been making for this year's project he comes and says he will pay our group for the game and would like 3 or 4 people to carry on making the game over the holiday for release on the iphone. He'd been saying throughout the year that he thought this was on of the best games he'd seen and actually hinted at this in the past. So... pretty big news. I think the leader of our group is pushing to have us all do it because it would be harsh on others if some were chosen. Not too bothered if I'm not chosen but if I am I get something quite cool on my CV.

How 'big' is Mass Effect? As in how many hours would it take to finish if I were to casually play through trying to do all the quests and what I think are side missions? I've just started it and just picked up the second girl on the pilgrimage thing and was just wondering how long it's gonna take.

smart.fm is an extremely good tool to help learn. I've not used it in a while but It helped me practice all of the kana again. Plus learning new words and the kanji of that word is extremely good. To further Shorty's point about kind of linking them with other things, I've always thought た to actually look like ta. み looks like a 4. つ looks like a tsunami/wave. The み one might not make sense but like Shorty said it works if you remember it.

I sort of had one. There was a man in my head. He didn't have a face but he wore a suit. He just had a presence you could feel. Anyway he was in charge of my dreams. I could only 'see' him at night before going to sleep. I used to think my dreams were like a library full of videos stored on VHS tapes. He was the man who showed me good dreams if I asked of course. No... I'm not making it up. I actually remembered about him last night so it's funny that I come on here and see this thread. -
I was wondering, regarding what I asked quite a while ago with the Live renewal, if my card got canceled and I got a new card but the old card's details are still linked on my Live account will they just cancel the renewal thing? It's probably a silly question but it'd save me ringing up. I won't get charged by my bank or anything would I?

Indeed. I actually watched Toradora the past 2 nights. I'm emotionally damaged for some reason. I couldn't pinpoint the reason but I was just sad before going to sleep. I need to pace myself with anime of this type... also I need to read up on what I watched to make better sense of it. Next to watch will be one of the other ones I should have watched whilst it aired, Asu no Yoichi has finished now..

I agree about the music. I have the some of the soundtrack CDs and just listening to Storywriter and some of the other tracks it brings back so many feelings. I started and completed Spice and Wolf today. Only 13 episodes but I believe a second season was confirmed a while back. It's a nice laid back anime which also confuses you with all the talk about currency and trading. Still, it was enjoyable to watch. S'why I love but hate 13 episode series, they're short and sweet but you always want them to carry on.

If you watch Welcome to the NHK you have to read it aswell. The manga is far better.The music in the anime is superb though. How about watching Eureka Seven?

Naruto was awesome. Can't wait for next week. I thought it was strange that they didn't put the ending text thing at the bottom of the final page. I was ready to close it and there was one page left which was pretty important if I hadn't had seen it before the next chapter. Well not important but just something you wouldn't want to not have seen.

What a wondrous weekend it has been. Friday 12pm I awoke from my slumber and shortly after started work on an assignment due in for Monday. ~~~~ Time skip to Monday. 0 hours sleep. Work handed in at 3 ish. Went to the ol' BK. Scoffed that down. Went back to flat and about 5 got into bed. Tuesday I woke up at 4:06am. Promptly went back to sleep again after drinking 3 apple Capri Suns. Next thing I know it's 1pm and I cannot type very well anymore.

Tokyo Toshokan is a good place. But torrents shouldn't really be talked about should they? I do agree about Birdy the Mighty. I watched the first season a while ago and it was awesome.

Friend eh? I'm confident I can get the animated stuff done tonight. As for the diary of things we did, no chance. I think I may have passed out this morning. At about 9 or 10 ish I was going crazy. I could barely see anything and everything was going wrong (PC wise) or so it felt like it. I sit on my bed for a change of ass comfort and next thing I know it's half 12 and I'm lying on the bed extremely confused, wondering where I was. I kept checking out the window desperately to see a person walk by so to reassure myself I wasn't the only person alive in the world. I was that bad. Calmed down now though.

That's a good idea. My tall flatmate has been borrowing my laptop to use the program on because the program doesn't work on his laptop. It looks like it runs quite smoothly considering how old it is. I should have told him to sod off and then use it for my rendering... Next time I know what to do.

That confuses me. What if someone hasn't seen the first 'series' and sees this filler. That's not part of the story. I'm not too fussed at all. Apart from the end they made a fantastic series and they didn't have all manga to base it off. I love how it airs when I've got no more Uni. Gonna be awesome.

Nope. I tried a tutorial for wakes made by the boat but it didn't work. Not too bothered by it, just trying to get a finished animation done in time. Also, haha, it was turning out fine. Until I wanted to animate my boat slowing down. I've been stuck on that for 3 hours now.

I thought they were following the manga for the new FMA, a lot of the video I don't remember reading about. Still, I can't wait for more Mustang. Dude is awesome.

On the subject of music players, itunes works perfectly fine for me. Don't know what all the hate is for. Today I've been working again. Pretty much solidly, since I got up yesterday. It's nearly finished though so it's been worth it.

It's turned out crazily fine. I love the %tage rotating thing. My character really looks like he's rowing a boat. I'm surprised that the place where I wanted to stay put, actually did.
