  1. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get from Euston station to Bank/the DLR to then Custom House? I'm trying to work out some times.
  2. Somebody tell me I want to spend money and go down to London this weekend please. I can do it, it's just teh money. Today I watched Star Trek in cinema. It was good. If good meant awesome.
  3. So the Haruhi episode that aired today was the real deal. A new episode mixed in with the old re airing. 2chan boards exploded with delight, I read there was 100 posts per minute but I don't know if that's true. .2chan board.
  4. This has been a tough week. The day I wake up early the journey to get a flu begins. I suppose it's my fault. When it comes to stuff like this I think 'I'll only get better'. So I don't care what happens I'll just put up with the suffering. Major dilemma, either I earn some money this weekend to earn money. Or I spend money to go to London for the weekend. Thing is the money to pay for it all... is why I'd work. the major thing is where to stay. Anyone know of a cheap hotel/hostel that'll let one person stay in a room in London close to centre/Docklands?
  5. Tut tut Wesley. All these spelling mistakes. We could have met, but it was literally in and out. Weird saying that having had to make a half and hour journey to another city for an in/out job but yeah. Literally went to Daryl, who told me to make sure it works on those pcs, gave it him and left. No time to linger.
  6. For like 50p or something. Snakes on a plane for £2.50 Galaxy Quest and Mystery Men for probably £2.50 each. And finally Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 for £9. Good day.
  7. Went back to Uni to hand in a CD. To make it worth the while, I went to the noodle bar and had a stir fry. It was lovely. Came back and got my wages for the days work I did. Then went to some of the backstreets where there are some shops. Got a few DVDs, Hercules in America I think was one of them, R6V for the 360 and other things. Throat has been sore all day. I woke up too early today...
  8. All this Bleach talk is interesting. I hope they continue with the awesome episodes. Another reason why I hate Japan: Awesome phones like this. 10 megapixel outer camera. And people rave over here about having a 5 megapixel camera or whatever the max is nowadays. Not that megapixels mean anything except a bigger print, but still... on a phone. Also remastering of the first Eva film. The Blu-ray 'will include additional cuts and a new digital mastering.'
  9. I've watched about 3 different groups subs and they were all terrible. I think the worst was that some group took the 4:3 and stretched it to make it widescreen, then pretty much boasted about having a widescreen version...ugh. First few eps is in America. But as always, they get a Japanese person to do it so they have a funky accent. It's still pretty good though.
  10. Not Saki's, Akira's/ the Selecao phone: http://www.nec-dp.co.jp/information/20090409.html Are they any good? The subs I've watched for that series have had extremely poor English.
  11. I'm sure the demo has been up for ages. I remember playing this either earlier in the year or last year. Maybe I got the US demo... Still, dog with a pipe, definite purchase for me.
  12. Eden of the East is a damn good show. I dislike the OP song, but the animation used suits it well. The story is different, it's a great show to watch week by week. It's one of those shows you really want to know what's going to happen, it's hard to see where anything is going. What I got from the latest episode is that this company is called Eden of the East, and the program they've made is damn cool. What they were talking about with NEETs I saw somewhere in there that this program would help Takizawa with his mission when he got the phone. Speaking of the phone NEC are actually making them. And it looks damn fine. Shame phones made in Japan wouldn't work over here. Coolness: Whose Queens blade subs are you watching. It's like everyone has dropped it because of it's ridiculousness.
  13. That video, I don't think people here are people with muscles like she has. I know how to handle a gun, and a rifle. No military training, but I know how to. To counter the melee/up close weapons all you need to do is wear a mask. With a gun you'd need a friend. Two backs. And a whole lot of bullets. BACK TO BACK! How awesome would that be in the middle of a zombie avalanche. Swords and whatnot will only need sharpening and maybe a clean once in a while so the blood doesn't stain. Guns you'll have to reload, clean, make sure the safety is on or off. Too much to think about when your mother is coming at you wanting your brains.
  14. Drive to Costco to get supplies. I know of a gun/knife shop in the city centre I could go to. I already have a sword; not sharp on the edge but pointy. I'd be able to stab them to death. Get some solar panels from someone's house I know to power the electricity in the house just in case they manage to knock out power grids or whatever. Create a game with vodka involved and drink the days away. Add some Arnie as well. Twitter about being a survivor in a zombie apocalypse. Update facebook status about twittering about being a survivor in a zombie apocalypse. Blog about twittering about being a survivor in a zombie apocalypse with added pictures.
  15. I just want to say, Tetsuwan Birdy Decode has some of the most epic animation I've seen. The first season was better than the second, but the second did have some awesome moments. Especially the final fight scene you watch.
  16. The thing is, if you've got enough money to spend on a plastic mould of a skateboard with some sensors in it which doesn't even move by the looks of it, you've surely got enough money to get a real skateboard and actually learn to skate for real. Anyone who spurts out crap saying you won't get hurt by playing indoors or whatever are just too lazy to go out and try it. This isn't the same as those music games. I don't think anyone would think it a good idea to bring mates round to watch you stand on a plastic thing and pull off 1080s from a standstill... Actually, that would be impressive. It's games like these and the constant drab that make me less interested in games. Let alone trying to get a job in the industry.
  17. Worked for 7 hours. Shame this money, and the other lots of money I've worked for, is going to leave my account in a matter of seconds when I finally get round to paying for an order on standby.
  18. I've got it! Someone has to bring out Cupboard Hero! Compatible with all other peripherals for consoles. Earn high scores by storing these pieces of crap in a neat way.
  19. Well, instead of asking other people to go and search on the internet, which I'm sure you have because you've asked on a forum on the internet, and find out what they were you most definitely could have, in a matter of minutes, skimmed a review of said camera and found the answer for yourself. But at a guess, which is what most people will probably do thereby not giving you a proper answer, one of them is maybe the focus light. You know, the orange or green glow cameras shine ever so brightly before the flash blinds you.
  20. I think you have to realise that they altered the game. Not only control scheme, but most definitely content/speech as well. So yeah, they can add in these subtle things because they can. I bought and started playing Tooie after 100%ing the first. I then left it a while, and then played it some more. Repeated this two more time and I can't seem to like this game. It's like it wants to be a large game, but it just feels extremely empty. I feel myself wandering around mindlessly going to another area to see if I can win any jiggies. It feels a lot different to the first game, which I much prefer.
  21. I'm sure the people who make them do it for fun and wouldn't really mind you refusing to use it because you prefer your old one. At least I wouldn't mind. It's not like they went out of their way to create the actual images used; as in drew the picture, scanned and coloured. Most, if not all signatures, are just pictures found by typing whatever it is you want in your favourite search bar. My day. Received a weird email today (sorry to rub more salt in the wound, friend). A piece of work I did, a 3D animation, has been 'nominated to go into the end of year 3D awards'. But it lacks audio, which I've been asked to add in for... I find out now, Tuesday. Bugger. Funny thing is, we had about 4 months to do it. I stayed up for 4 days straight and did it. Those were the worst 4 days I've had in a very long time.... *cries* The animation, in short, is a guy on a boat.... for background music you thinking what I'm thinking? Hell yeah you are.
  22. Judging by the preview for the next episode I don't think what you said in the spoiler box is true. Having a most awesome seiyuu he's one of my favourite characters. New FMA: Loved Roy's face. The menace, it was fierce. But I'm glad he cooled down. For the last few chapters it's felt like it's slowed down somewhat. At one point they were in front of the door and split up, ready to take him down. And then for what seems like ages they've been fighting other battles. Probably because of the month wait in between each, but I just don't see it ending very soon. At least that's what I want hiromu arakawa to say.
  23. Somewhere you can find info.
  24. The animation of the latest episode was superb. I loved the battle, and how awesome Shuuhei was. I liked what I read on randomanimeblogger Shame.
