  1. I don't know how Partners in Time got so good reviews. It was repetitive, had fiddly controls and had about 1 funny line in the whole game. The 'script' didnt have a patch on the paper M games. As for Viewtiful Joe I found similar problems, touch controls were crap, hard to make out the graphics and sometimes you were expected to do something that was really not obvious. I just think if you're going to make a handheld game you should make it simple and fun, because rarely do you get fleshed out experiences on such small systems. The handhelds are trying too hard trying to be home consoles and it just doesnt work. Both VJ and M&L/Paper M are series that are better tenfold on a bigger machine.
  2. I sold my DS because i couldnt stand the crapness it was churning out. Partners in time and viewtiful joe and countless others were appaling, only nanostray, hunters and mkds had enjoyable moments, and its nots as though those titles had little flaws or werent expected to be good.
  3. Now Berbatov is a player. He'd become world famous if he played for a team that won trophies consistently. No offense to Spurs fans, in fact, Spurs fans are immense on the whole.
  4. King Kev was good, I think he's a good man-to-man manager and has all the passion BUT I don't think he has the knowledge of modern team tactics. Take a look at how dis-organised the defence is, there is a huge leak.
  5. I'm glad I didn't buy this game, didn't think this warranted money for what is essentially a crap platformer with the Paper Mario logo. In fact I think I'll stop playing Paper Mario Games period seeing as I've beat both proper titles and don't think there was a great deal to tell them apart. TTYD I played first and then downloaded VC 64 one, but thought that the puzzles ideas were too similar. TTYD still remains one of my favourite games because I played it first and lapped it up.
  6. Can someone sum up why I should buy this game in 3 sentences please?
  7. I guess if you are paying a lot of money for something you should know exactly what you're buying.
  8. Lol I just had an immense monkey ball session! Everybody I was playing were quality, everyone had 3 bannanas on fight and I kicked ass on the final round. FTW
  9. I guess the majority thought the guy was clever. End of Poll.
  10. Mario Kart is basically a series that guarentees fun even if it isnt the most technical game. The characters are the best in a kart game too.
  11. I think there are lots of things that developers could do with mario-kart, but the developers probably don't feel like they need doing to get more sales.
  12. I played on MotorStorm and I thought it was good. I only played on a small T.V but seeing as PS3 is largely bought for graphics i wasnt too impressed. Was it a launch game? Rubbadub is better.
  13. That doesn't bag you any cash, if there was a precaution ball that could make you win the money if you thought the other person would steal, then there should be one.
  14. When i first thought about the motion controller for ps3 i thought 'waste'. But the most unlikeliest of games proved me wrong. Rubbadub is much more fun than the description suggests.
  15. Legend. Im guessing you dont think much of rubbadub? When i played it i thought 'great small burst game'. shame about snakeball online, but when you think about it, the game's fun and you could just not buy that extra pint on friday night.
  16. Its funny how everyone has really strong stubborn views on this. Nobodies right or wrong of course, but maybe a bit more openmindedness would help. Results show it's fairly even between choices.
  17. Has anyone played the Super Rubbadub game or the Snakeball demo? My god i love those games! Playin them at a friends house again today! There's loads of cheap PS3 games on ebay btw.
  18. I guess you're all right, but I still think he's a bit of an asshole. OK he wouldnt see him and yes, in the context of the game everyone would have chosen steal, but this questions human morals. If everyone chose steal, then nobody would win anything. It is a massively flawed show, there should at least be a pre-caution ball or something that you use if you think someone will steal.
  19. Yeah that's not the whole point. Would you have done that. Friends would know if you played it, would they say 'that was quality' or would they say 'thats bloody harsh'?
  20. Is this guy an asshole or just clever? I'm talking about the gameshow Golden Balls, weekdays ITV. Basically at the final round of the gameshow the 2 players have accumalated a large ca$h prize of 40,000 quid. Then they both have a choice on whether to split or steal. If both choose split, they both win 20,000 If one chooses split and the other chooses steal, the one person who steals wins 40,000 and the other person gets fukd. If both steal both win jack all. So basically these 2 guys are high-fiving each other for picking the right golden balls to win loads of money. They're both cheering and shaking each others hands and then after totalling 40,000 they have a short discussion and they both handshake to split the money between them. At the end the younger of the men steals 40,000 and the other guy looks like he's pissed. (who wouldnt'?) Is the person who stole an asshole or just clever? My initial reaction to this was that the guy was an arsehole, but then after thought I'm stuck on what to think. If you steal basically you can't really lose unless the other person does the same and you have much better odds of going home with something; for the simple fact that if you split you go home with less or nothing, if you dont you get more or nothing. Also if you're at home then its easy to say that you'd split, but if so much money was at stake would you go for it even if it meant everyone hated you for a bit afterwards? (I should have included an option 'What the hell were you watching Golden Balls for?')
  21. I find there's usually no point in writing long posts on a forum because usually nobody can be bothered to comment/read them like me. Sorry. And at Jamba: I think its an OK point(s) but you'd be missing out on a lot if you didnt buy this. Yeah if there were other fun games I might wait longer for this but this seems like the only fun title out for a good while. More content on MK = me buy. New battle mode, online and new courses is enough.
  22. yeah but better
  23. Stunts are hardly a make or brake factor, but I think its just the new update and cool tracks/chars/items that makes a new MK excitable.
  24. OK enough of this. I think that from the videos on IGN that 150cc is fast enough. It looks just as speedy as the rest to be honest. I reckon there should be an unlockable f-zero mode on this tbh.
  25. Since Cube added that: Diddy Kong Racing 64 Every kart game since time i was a master at using hovercraft.
