I side with Nintendo too. I'm glad Nintendo are still around to innovate, the gaming industry needs Nintendo. But the way the fan boys are reacting to this is laughable to me. Yep, it's a blatant rip off, but they're only doing what they think is best for business. By the way, Nintendo didn't invent analog sticks. There was a really old console in the 80's that had used them first. Sony were the first to use 2 analog sticks on one pad too. Guess who copied that idea? Yep, Nintendo.

Nintendo fanboys need to stfu, seriously. I do NOT feel sorry for Nintendo at all. This is a business, Sony and Nintendo are both companies who only care about money, and don't really care about our happiness at all. Nintendo would eat Sony and Microsoft up if they could, and you all damn well know it. So don't give me any of this ethics crap. I'll still buy a Wii, but all consoles will have this sorta technology in the future, get over it.

Only completed this once. I'll have to start it up again on my GameCube. I remember OOT being a better game though to me.

F Zero GX - Have you unlocked the AX tracks?
Mikey replied to david.dakota's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Had this game since it came out, and I've still not completed it. I'm still trying to unlock the AX tracks. At the moment, my strategy is to try and knock off my closest opponents, but it's so hard. -
I personally think Shenmue 1 and 2 should have been merged in to one game. Then it would have been, well not perfect, but a lot more ideal. I remember playing through the first game for the first time, and trying to buy the ticket to go to Hong Kong. I thought, wow, I'm gonna get on a plane and go to a different country. It never happened, and I felt as though they were just milking the story by sending you on pointless errands in order to give you just enough gameplay to justify it as it's own game. Like you said, Shenmue 1 is an introduction, but one which should never have been it's own game, and one that shouldn't have had you running around for hours doing almost nothing at times looking for pointless crap or people like Charlie.

Shenmue 1 doesn't feel like a full game to be honest. There are only 4 areas, this is why I think Shenmue 2 kicks it's ass, because the game world is massive compared to the first one, and there seems like there's so much more to do.

Completed Shenmue on Dreamcast numerous times, and completed Shenmue 2 on the Xbox twice. Shenmue 2 is the far better game, although the first one is good too. I really hope number 3 gets released, I really wanna know what the hell happens!!!

I still feel this is the best game ever made. Truly stunning.

After tasting the joy that is the wireless Logitech pad for the PS2, I can't stand any controllers with wires anymore. Hopefully Nintendo will do something about this.

why are gamecube games so expensive?
Mikey replied to british lad's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I refuse to pay over £35 personally. If Billy Gates thinks he's getting £50 for a 360 game, he can think again. I'll get a 360, but I'll just buy all my games used. I hate the way games companies have justfied the higher price of games because games are harder to make. It's their own fault they bring out new consoles making them more expensive to develop, not ours. If they don't like it, they don't have to make games, just like I don't have to pay their shitty prices. Gotta laugh at them when they complain though. Yeah, they're really doing badly as they drive home in their Ferraris aren't they? -
I've got 2 N64's and about 14 games. I'd never sell any of my N64 stuff in a million years. Sure I don't play them any more, but I had an amazing time with my N64, and would never sell my console because of the memories.

I know you can use standard Gamecube controlers on the Revolution, but does anyone know if you can use a Wavebird on one at all as well?
-
Amazing graphics, but it's way to action packed for my liking. One of the main reasons I loved the original so much is because of the stealth aspect.

Here's some hints. Use R1 and a direction when the ball comes to you so you can turn easily and gain lots of space. Use R2 and shoot for a side footed shot. CPU likes to use through balls A LOT now, so keep an eye out for it. Side step is now automatic, so be careful on how you dribble past players.

Bird flu eh. Media hype. They tend to blow these things out of proportion to sell papers.

lol, second time I've found a poster from deftonesworld by accident on a gaming forum.

It's not coming out, you'll see soon enough. I already have it on PS2 anyway imported from Japan. Maybe you should all go out and buy a PS2 and stop denying yourselves great games by sticking with 1 console.
-
Football games. Imagine being able to hit the ball only as hard as you swing the controller? I think that would open up loads of new possibilities.
-
Just seen the video. It's a lot better than I first thought, but will it take off?
-
I'm gonna look at some videos. I actually hope I am wrong, because I've been playing Nintendo games since the NES. But it all looks very disappointing to me.

By looking at it, I can't see what is revolutionary about it at all. All I see is an analog stick connected to a DVD remote. This consoles whole thing is that it was supposed to be revolutionary, yet it all looks pretty stupid and gimicky. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are gonna wee on this console.
-
It's stupid looking. Not anything like a revolution. Just stupid. The fan boys will disagree, but what ever.
