http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=77689&page=1 First impressions and interview. Typical hardware talk on the second page, the usual Xbox comparisons.

Looks "decent" but one thing I automatically look for in shots is stencil shadows and it looks like this game is going with the horrible archaic blurry circular shadow route, which is unacceptable in this day in age for me.
-
Well we already know that's not the case so don't worry.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)
James McGeachie replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's a crap update if you have stupidly high standards and actually expect something BIG from a site that's updated constantly. Of course it's going to be small things, it's updated every weekday! Also crap is pretty objective anyway, I liked this because you know, with updates 5 TIMES A WEEK I'd be stupid to complain at all! -
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)

If the Yoshi's Story music played in this stage Sakurai would've probably mentioned like he did with Battlefield. I can see the Yoshi's Story music being Yoshi's credits song or something. -
The trailer looks great. Very original and unique idea and visually I think it's pretty nice. Good style and some nice lighting effects when she's using the light thing. I like the water quite a bit too. Only thing I see that needs SERIOUS improvement is the character animation for walking, which is dreadful.

It's from a youtube video, this one specifically. 5000 is a completely different scene. -
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap Official Thread

Does bumping a year old thread mean you just recently played it? If so, per chance do you prefer it to Twilight Princess? I'm curious as you seem to greatly enjoy expressing your opinion of TP at any opperunity you get. -
Well Madden's controls seemed "tacked on" looking at it but apparently they made the game as a whole more immersive and enjoyable.

I don't consider anything after Terminator 2 even remotely canon to the series. It all shits all over Cameron's ideals for the franchise and ruins everything I enjoyed about the originals. The key message in Terminator 2 is "the future is not set, there is no fate except what we make for ourselves," then in comes T3 with this "JUDGEMENT DAY IS INEVITABLE, YOU JUST POSTPONED IT" and Sarah Connor Chronicles with "You changed the future, you just didn't change it enough!" Sickens me but erm yeah, I guess this is pretty unrelated. On a related note then on the other hand I think Indy 4 is a great idea but I wish they'd got around to making it before Harrison Ford turned into an OAP.

They're also obviously not going to reveal absolutely every new one on the site, some things will be left to be a surprise surely. -
Playing my second time on the game in Pro mode was even more fun than the first for me. The extra challenge added a whole new layer of strategy to an already mindblowingly fun game.

If they rebuild the entire way 2d fighters work around the system they could work. Also it's a bit far to say every MK game is "shit", they're a bit different from the norm and obviously not Street Fighter 3 level in terms of skill depth for the hardcore, but most of the recent games have been pretty competent fighters and packed full of content.
-
Random thing but going by Matt in the recent IGN podcast the recent screenshots of Prime 3 are current build for one reaason, they're apparently the first shots in proper widescreen. The previous stuff was apparently stretched, which would explain why I always thought Samus' arm cannon looked wierd in the older videos.
-
I think he just means that on Friday the most you'll get from sites about Prime 3 are the screens a few places got a couple of days ago, meaning they're now "old". It's no wonder people here can get easily disappointed if they take even the most vague comments as "confirmation".

UK Software Charts (Updated every Monday)

Wierd that they have both versions of Cooking Mama under one listing but I guess they do that with handheld versions of multi-system games usually too, even if the handheld version is drastically different. -
I have a feeling Prime 3 wasn't at the event actually. On IGN Matt has a comment under part of Reggie's speech saying he wishes he showed off a demo of Prime 3, which seems like it was a subtle way for him to say it wasn't there. I'd love it if it was though of course, I'm very interested in new footage as soon as possible.

I have a feeling the "music" page wont be getting updated as often. I don't think they want to post the entire soundtrack and I think we know enough about the music team for the game already. -

I figured Mazza grew popular because it's so damn English sounding.... -
The area that's shown is yeah, but I highly doubt Nintendo would be releasing new screens not of their current build of the game.
-
It's kinda funny that people were expecting the visuals to be "drastically improved" over E3's build though.

It's not actually the menu music. It's a remix of the SSBM menu music but is used in the stage "battlefield". -
Well I guess if you ignore the other versions from the previous Project Gotham Xbox games yeah.

Any idea what Famitsu gave the original and PS2 versions of the game?
