Today's update brings mixed feelings: Corneria - I love this one. Great to see it back. Yoshi's Island - Mixed feelings. In one way, I kinda like this stage. But it's impractical more often than not. Brinstar - I hate this one. Generic, not much fun. I just hope there are some cool musics to play on the background. Onett - I like this one. So many people hate it, though. But I really like it. Here's hoping it has the same awesome music from before. Rainbow Ride - Another one I like. I just hope movement becomes easier and battles become more exciting in SSBB. And I'm still waiting for Big Blue...

Mafia Game #5 Sign-ups - N-Europe member war

Don't forget me! I'm totally in. Mundi has only lost one game (3rd). And he didn't even die! Let's break that survival streak. -
Mafia Game #4 Thread - DIY Christmas Killing Spree

You did well. I actually suspected O_W to be Voldemort's partner. Gladly, Voldemort killed me before I buried you, basically saving O_W. On a side-note, I'm so glad Chairdriver let me use a great power from a really obscure videogame. -
Mafia Game #4 Thread - DIY Christmas Killing Spree

Crap, we lost. I was hoping my power would let me see if someone was good or evil. I got it right when I suspected Eenuh to be Amélie. Too bad that suspicion came when I died. I can't believe nobody knew who Amélie Poulain was. Also, if Voldemort hadn't killed me that night, I would've dug up Eenuh's place, basically saving Oxygen_Waste by mistake. Or killing myself, whatever her power was. Also, the game got boring near the end, despite starting well. Too bad for that. -
I highly doubt that they're letting Pokémon Trainer call Squirtle "Zenigame" in the English version. By the way, if you're curious, PT's voice is being played by the same person who voiced the original Satoshi (Ash) But it would be awesome if he had this Japanese voice, since it sounds exactly like the original Portuguese Ash (before they changed his voice). EDIT: I made a mistake before. "Athletic" is from SMW 2: Yoshi's Island, not Yoshi's Story. I'll fix it right away.

New Commercial spots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=377oTsXAC7Y (features Mario, Link, Kirby and Pikachu) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXy2diLQmDU (features Ike, Yoshi, King Dedede and Pokémon Trainer) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ft-2Aiio7iY (misc. stuff, including Iceberg being summoned on Norfair, and the Metroid Assist Trophy)

Idiot. Plenty of my colleagues did similar things. But our Physics/Chemistry teacher never noticed the positions, or the tongues, or the pics taken... They were much stealthier. And organized.

Thanks, it's confirming a lot (except they can't decide which Bern song it is. Really hope it's the FE7 one.) -Castform is in a pokéball -Latias/Latios too (details are confusing) -The Pegasus Knight is actually a group (maybe a triangle attack?) -Sothe uses kicks, not his knives (bummer ) -Birdo is an Assist Trophy (Unconfirmed) -Tingle is the Goldeen of Assist Trophies (Unconfirmed) Let's see what else I can find... EDIT: -Kirby's comet dash attack has been replaced with his Yo-Yo crazy breakdancing move. (Awesome, since I love that move.) -WarioWare stage gives you little rewards should you complete the minigames (Ex.: healing) -Animal Crossing Main Theme, Balloon Trip from Balloon Fight, WarioWare Main Theme are all confirmed music -Sandbag is some sort of a container item. You must beat him up for items to come out. MORE EDIT: -The Bern theme really appears to be the one from FE7, "Kingdom of Bern" -Zelda's Great Bay song from Melee makes a return -Link and Ike's Final Smash deal 67% and 70%, respectively -New Music list: -Metroid Ending (unspecified game) -Brinstar Music -Samus' Theme (I don't know this one. Some say it's from Super Metroid) -Athletic (SMW 2: Yoshi's Island) -Battle music from Fire Emblem 7 (unspecified. Probably "Strike")

In the good side: Mario 3 Super Metroid (Metroid III) Zelda: A Link to the Past (Zelda III) Metroid Prime 3 Super Mario Galaxy (the 3rd 3D Mario game) I don't know about Castlevania 3, but the 3rd GBA Castlevania was pretty good while the 2nd wasn't much. The 3rd game of a series is almost always the best.

I have that headrush plenty of times (mostly when I'm doing some sort of exercise like push-ups and I get up too quickly). I have never fainted, though. If it's like that headrush, I guess it's pretty unpleasant. I have, however, seen a girl faint. It was our first university test. She was pretty nervous troughout the whole test, but nobody thought it was weird. The moment the teacher says "test over", she faints and falls off her chair, crashing her head on the ground (and breaking her teeth). Soon afterwards, she had an epileptic attack, while bleeding from her mouth. Horrible sight.

Holy crap, I like it already. This is probably the first time I'm excited to play football in a videogame. More proof that Lucas > Ness Holy crap, Metagross! One of the few 3rd generation Pokemon I liked. @Tales: Yeah, It's Fire Emblem, speaking of which: Cube, where did you get this information? I need to make sure that song is from FE7, not 6 (since 6 has one with a similar name).

You don't need to have Lloyd in your party. You can take him out if you want and control another one. (I loved playing Regal, even if he wasn't that strong) @Emasher

I have yet to play Metroid Prime 3, but I find it hard to believe that 1&2 would become obsolete because of it. Hell, I consider 2 to be quite inferior to 1 and I still find it pretty good. Just get both. As people said, Metroid Prime is the best Cube game, so it's a must. If you like the Metroid (Prime) series in general, then get Echoes, too.

My class had several clowns. So many legendary moments... In TIC (computer class), our teacher wasn't very bright. She once used a computer from one of our clowns to teach the class via powerpoint. She interrupted the class at a given point to explain something to another student. The class clown used this interruption to play some Medal of Honor while the wall projector was still turned on, so the whole class could see what he was doing (the whole class was playing with him via LAN too ). Meanwhile, the teacher went back to teaching us. She didn't notice the projector was showing a LAN game. She just acted as if everything was normal. She never saw a thing. Also, in one Portuguese class, one of the books in our plan mentions a machine called "Passarola" (lit. translation: Birdie). One of our class clowns would often joke around that name, the most memorable being: «I wonder if *girl name*'s "birdie" smells like cod...» It just came out of nowhere. There are plenty, but they either involve Portuguese humor, or can't be told in written form.

Tales of Symphonia spoilers regarding:
-
Great film. I was sitting right next to the sound columns, so I would jump at any loud noise (like the curtains closing. I thought they were the zombie shrieks )
-
"Não percam o próximo episódio porque nós também não!" Sorry about that. It felt appropriate. But I'm sure they'll skip something. I bet the next OVA starts with them already in Meltokio and they skip the whole trip to the Fooji Mountains. I think it's not too farfetched to think they arrive in Ozette at the end of the 5th episode. By the way, when will the next OVA arrive?
-
Well, Peach is definately annoying. Her killing aerials are quick and come out of nowhere. Also, she beats you up in the most humiliating and taunting ways possible. She always looks like she's having fun. And her b****-slaps... ...I know that's got nothing to do with skill or power, mind you. I just hate that goat. Also, I was the one that cracked Serebii's code: To all Smashboarders lurking to see if I leak anything...this is what we call speculation and not me trying to leak info. I have no idea when the real release date is
-
Finally saw the 4th OVA.
-
Yes, it's an RPG. But play Tales of Symphonia for the Cube first. The first was a very good one. But avoid searching the Internet for information. The game is better played without spoilers.

I'll probably try Mario in training mode to get the hang of the new physics. Then it's Pokémon Trainer whenever I can. I'll probably try Sonic, too.

Games that make you want to break your controller/swear.
Jonnas replied to welsh_gamer's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Ghosts n' Goblins, Ghouls n' Ghosts, they're very hard and frustrating games, but I didn't play them enough to be angry. Now for personal experiences where I actually got quite angry: -Super Mario Sunshine: The...friggin...Blue Coins. They killed my Shine search. -Super Smash Bros. Melee: The Very Hard All-Star Mode. The CPUs possess perfect execution and perfect double-teams. Very irritating. -Fire Emblem: I'm almost beating a hard chapter, when one enemy gains a Critical Hit. Or when an axeman kills a swordsman with a 3% hit chance... -Pokémon Stadium 1/2: That filthy CPU cheats. My Thunders miss when I most need them. Their Thunders are Critical Hits most of the time. Such underhanded tactics made me almost rip the pillows around me in half. Those are the ones I remember right now. -
Just watched the trailer and WOOO, they're back! Lloyd looks so awesome. So does Sheena. Shouldn't Genis be a bit taller? And shouldn't Regal put some more decent clothes? I mean, he got rid of the shackles (so weird seeing him without them). And Kratos is not present. Well that was to be expected.

Cool item, I just hope it works well in gameplay.
