Thanks Gonzo, it is always good to hear that there is other unlucky people out there. Would you recommend taking the game back and trying again or should I consider getting in touch with Nintendo in case there is a fault with my Wii?

I have now swapped the game again and I am on my third copy and still it keeps locking up and freezing on me surely my luck isn't this bad!! Every time I am starting to get into it and loving how much better the Motion Plus is it just dies on me.....I envy you all!!!

Just bought the game and have not managed to get it to work have tried about 9 times now but it keeps freezing on me!!! I took my first copy back to get it replaced and to my disappointment the same problem with the 2nd one...has anyone else noticed this or have I just been unfortunate and got a faulty batch or something like that?!?

I went and tried out the easter egg and it was beautiful...really cool that there is hidden extras like that!

thats weird...I just got a DSi and put my imported Pokemon Pearl in and it worked with no problems at all :S Overall best version of the DS

I wouldn't call this lacking but the fact that the game itself was a tad too easy. If it wasn't for the overall length of the game it could be completed in about 2 days so personally I would of prefered more of a challenge. Apart from that I agree with King V's opinion and the game itself was lacking more of the little ideas instead of the BIG ideas.

I agree that they should only stick to one Metroid game at a time and the whole Hunters model...must of been a rough night before that idea came up However I see no point in buying the Gravity Suit model since it is the same stance but different colours but would like to pick up a Zero Suit model with the Limited Edition Light.

I am ashamed to admit that I have yet to try either of the games as I just cannot find a copy aywhere at a decent price

Well Nintendo are ones whom like to keep there games underwraps until close to release so we may very well be surprised. But then again maybe I was a bit to optimistic with my view on this game.

I feel that Pikmin 3 will be announced and playable at E3 but it won't be the "Big Surprise" that we have all been promised. Just wait and see

One thing I completely forgot about was the last competition which I thought was class how Nintendo can do things like that. Will have to check this new one out.

Just set a reasonable target and go for it My only worry with it is that since buying it everyone in the house has been using my Wii they better be finished with it when Smash Bros comes out

Nothing has been announced yet but normally American Sports games come out around the start of each new season so expect some announcements around E3-time.

I would love to get the Samus Gunship model but I don't think my bank account would cope with it The bottle caps have cost me roughly £10 so far. Here is another shot of Samus plus a shot of the Zelda model.

Managed to get my hands on this on Tuesday and so far have put in over 4 hours training and I am very impressed. Just recovered from attempting a 30 min free jog and by heavens it seriously does take it out of you. For people trying to get a copy I have seen quite a few in Gamestation and Game around the Glasgow area and stock seems to be becoming weekly which is better.

Thats pretty unusual but am no expert. This week I finally managed to grab a Wii Fit then to find out after all my efforts to get a copy that it was back in stock the next day Anyways still fantastic Wii sales and I expect MK and Wii Fit to continue to shine in the next coming months.

I think I remeber reading somewhere that Nintendo, for June at least, are shipping about a ratio of 4:1 Wii Fit to Europe due to the weak dollar. They certainly seem to be shipping more as I am starting to see it in stock more regularly in stores.

I agree with tapedeck, Konami has shown every developer that sports games can work on the Wii. The lack of hockey games on Nintendo platforms recently has been a joke and the last one I played was NHL 2K3 for the GC. If 2K9 is anywhere near as good as that was I will be happy

Now that 2K sports have jumped onto the Wii Bandwagon then I wouldn't be surprised if we see a certain game that goes by the name of NHL 09 being announced very soon

I managed to get hold of one of those Zelda statues from the stars catalogue along with the Samus Varia Suit model as well. I must admit I don't regret either of them and the Metroid one is by far my favourite as the details is just unreal
