  1. Funny. Like gone with the wind. The only time I think I look good is in my bathroom mirror. I think it's the lighting. Then in real llfe I hate.
  2. Rachel hardly failed to make an impact! She did some pretty good pop songs actually. Weren't LAEx and Some Girls like no.2's or something? (I saw them live when I was like 8)
  3. Been listening to Necessary Evil by Debbie Harry, as I got it for my birthday this morning.. (Her new album) I quite like it. It's very technical, and the production is very slick. She's still a very sexual woman at her age (62) which feels both good and bad. Some great tracks amidst the usual meh ones.
  4. Thanks! (I got a Bjork cake!)
  5. 8/10 Simple, and well made. I didn't ever mention the size of it, just the actual font. It's not an aesthetically pleasing font, and it doesn't fit well with the background.
  6. SPOILER! We aren't told. She obviously did this to his accomplice, and then after he squeled about Jeff and killed himself, she went to repeat the process with Jeff. I beleive that he was "only" there to take pictures, and that the first guy did it. It doesn't really matter though. Hayley was just making sure.
  7. I recently rewatched it. What was confusing?
  8. Dragonette's debut album "Galore" is out tomorrow as well. (My Birthday too) I urge everyone who is intered in GOOD pop/rock music. It's the best i've heard in years. (DL'd it ages ago..wish i'd waited. I might buy it regardless of allready having it) I read top album posts. Well, skim, to see if it matches any of my tastes. Current albums I'm loving, since I can't do all-time: Siouxsie Sioux - Mantaray 9/10 Alanis Morissette - Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie 8/10 Garbage - beaurtifulgarbage 8.7/10 Darren Hayes - This Delicate Thing We've Made 7.9/10 All of Bjorks stuff. 11/10.
  9. 8/10 It's still the nasty font that ruins it.
  10. Atonement 10/10 in a walk. Stylistically breathtaking, amazingly acted, wonderfully directed, just flawless. Emotional draining at times, and sad and realistic. Also secretly funny at times. It's now on my list of my favourite films ever, with the likes of Hard Candy, (Sympathy For) Lady Vengeance, Sunshine, Aliens etc.
  11. It wasn't an active choice of mine to be Atheistic/Agnostic. My brain just doesn't believe it, since after all, the bible is no more believable than Harry Potter (or any fiction). Just because say it's true doesn't mean it is. However, I wish I could be religious. It just seems much easier having an "answer" for every mystery.
  12. Some songs I can just imagine them live. I might do "All Neon Like" by Bjork. Maybe "Pluto". Both quite electronic. I wish we could do that in art..
  13. I love her music, but her hair is something else. I love it in a way though.
  14. Quoted for truth. One of the most unenjoyable films I've ever seen. I wish they had chosen a good actress.
  15. I can't be bothered thinking about it. The bible is a book of stories, and should therfore be discounted, IMO. That's all I know.
  16. Gwen Stefani was fucking amazing. Defintion of putting on a show. And the crowd interaction was awesome. Actually sitting doen on peoples laps in the crowd. And those Japanese harajuku girls like came right up to us. Way better than I expected (new album's kinda iffy), and just WAAAA! generally.
  17. 9/10 Eliot! Transparency!
  18. 7/10 Well made, but I detest war. I'm a conscientious objector, so I find war games that try to emulate real events abhorrant.
  19. Hard Candy 10/10 One of my favourite films ever. Stylistica nd just amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. aaaaazing.
  20. I'm seeing Gwen Stefani (supported by CSS, who I prefer atm, lol) tomorrow! I might need to like draw on my face or something.
  21. AGH! *screams* Soveit Kitsch is amazing/awesome. Begin To Hope isn't. It's great, but it really is nothing on Soviet Kitsch. It's a more produced sound, and it's what got me into her, and I found myself defending it, but soon realised that Soviet Kitsch is sooooooo much better. After many listens to both, Begin To Hope "begins" to sound lifeless, kinda. Like she's not as interested in it. I don't own any others, though.
  22. Well, the "bad radio stations" are the ones that put music in the charts. Or it's the other way round. Whatever. Not sure about "light drums"? You mean bongos? And your parents knowing about her isn't odd, it makes sense. She rose to prominence in the 80's band, Sugarcubes before bursting onto the music scene as a solo artist in 1993.
  23. I usually have the album length and sig elngth matching, but for some reason it's not updating with my current tp albums unless I extend it. I'll shorten it soon. I'm not sure what you mean about the black bit. I love yours. Dynamic and simple. Very james bond. 8/10
