  1. *gasps* Tori Amos' new album is out for preorder on iTunes, and normally I'd just wait for the CD, but if I preorder I get access to the presale for tickets for her tour. I'm gonna be in Europe for the start of the summer, so if I preorder, and then the presale only applies to tickets in the UK, and she's playing while I'm away, I'm screwed. If it's for the whole of Europe, I might do it. But then...I hate buying it digitally, when I really want it on CD. Dilemma/ I'll just wait till the dates are announced. I might e-mail Ticketmaster.
  2. What happens in Gossip Girl? I've never watched it, but from the reviews here, it sounds like nothing actually happens. Are there stoylines?
  3. Very nice rez.
  4. I hate that I have no plan for myself. Well not a plan, but a vision. Since I have constant worry/nagging feeling I'm going to die, that makes it worse. I might write a book. Or a screenplay. or a story that's for screen, but not written out formally until the end.
  5. So I was off today, felt horrible. That sore throat that feels like when you swallow a crisp sideways and it's all sharp, and a throbbing ache in my head (not quite a headache). I'm so behind essay-wise in English. My laziness/procrastination is a disability, though it's no one else's fault but my own. Not done the last 4 essays...done about a page for each, then stop and if they don't ask for them, I don't finish them. I do the actual coursework one I've been redrafting for a year and a half of course, but only yesterday did one of my teachers ask where all my essays were. Oy. I was doing my Hopkin's one (I decided to actually do that one), but now I think I'll make a start on the actually really important one, my Catcher In T'rye one. I want to burn this book, it's been a curse over the last year!
  6. I was downloading limewire basic onto my mac today (I have done this in the past, but haven't had it for about a year now), and after doing all the installation shiz, it told me that I needed Java 1.6, and I only had out of date versions. It said to do a software update, but my mac doesn't have anything to update. I went to the Java site, but for macs, it just tells me to so software update again. But my software update doesn't say any updates are available! Does that mean I don't have Java at all? I assumed I would have..is there another way to DL Java 1.6? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
  7. I remember finding that insanely catchy and loving it when it came out. I remember chairdriver saying he hated it because it "broke the fourth wall"! They're Disney hoes, aren't they? I'm sure I saw a thing about them in Disneyworld.
  8. Mulholland Drive Second time watching it in full, still 10/10. Just brilliant.
  9. One of mine has 20 tracks, the other 19. While I beleive in editing albums to flow and be concise, I decided that I'm not making an album as an artist, so just to shove as many that I wanted on! (if they worked together)
  10. I've done 2 different mixes...but there are similarities. No song is the same (both discs feature some of the same artists, but for example, on Mix 1, artists X have just an "interlude" song, whereas on Mix 2, they get a full song). How long is everyone's mixes? I've maxed out both, to be 1hour 17.
  11. Why had I never heard of Brum before I came to this forum? It sounds hilarious.
  12. ---- :p Dear Haggis...
  13. Hmm. Possibly. *doesn't know what else to add, so leaves*
  14. I read the first arc of Astonishing. (up to the releasing of Colossus) and then stopped until the Shi'Ar warfare bit in Uncany in space, which I read (and quite liked).
  15. I remember AAAAAAAAAAges ago Dan Dare told me that The Sensual World by Kate Bush was amazing. I didn't believe him, finding it strange and...just nothing. In he last month I finally broke into it, and fully agree with him. Love the gravelly bits her voice does in this.
  16. Well nothing wrong, but in the gamespot review IIRC they said that it was sometimnes hard as a lot of different actions required similar movements from you, the player, so you could mess up stuff. I never really got that, personally
  17. Camp Rock must be painful to watch if Haggis and Dazz hate it!
  18. I don't see how Web Of Shadows was an abomination... I enjoyed it, even with the supposedly tricky Wii controls. The only bits I'd change would be plot/story/situation-wise.
  19. My mixtape people. Not bad. At least I know how to approach one of them. Just remade one of the mixes with them in mind!
  20. I've yet to watch Schindler's List the whole way through. I keep meaning to, I mean, I have it on DVD. Will do one day. I also need to see Apocalypse Now. I bought it for 99p on VHS when I was reading Heart Of Darkness, but decided I hated VHS.
  21. Yeah. I hope both he and Melly die a horrible painful death. And Sierra is the one who kills them. Mwa ha.
  22. It's my favourite comedy I think, in that it wasn't just a comedy. I liked how the characters/settings were actually quite realistic.
  23. That's a very good point. As it stands, it sounds a bit "pupil reciting" rather than confident reviewer.
  24. I love the concept of needing/wanting to travel to a beach. There's too many beaches easily available to me. *laugths maniacally*
