I think an artist/band that decline after only one album is a worrying prospect in general... lol liz phair. I love though.

Avvie; alright, but could differ from the sig more. I dislike Chemistry. Sig. better, as the text works nicely with it. 6. Bit dull. -

Wasn't it on my list? Oh no. It was, then Hercules shoved it into 11th place. -
As much I sometimes like a good old piece of pop music, you keep posting the same thing! I'm pretty sure all three point in this post have been posted by you, here, recently. Not trying to be mean or whatever, but I jus notice it. --- "Doth I Protest Too Much" - I love. --- And yeah, I find many artists I like, that the first album is often a less formed version of what they eventually produce. And so consecutive albums are better.

A defining scene of my childhood. "KEEP! SINGIIIIIIING!" ah, ah, AH! -
I only had him for 2nds Physics, and didn't take it after 3rds. He left, then came back for a cameo a while back IIRC. I have so many hilarious memories involving teachers. I remember we found a mildly drunken Ms. Hobbs (the maths teacher) under someone's bunk on the Battlefield' trip. And then when Ms. Bunclark/Mrs. Jung asked to hold the prop "Monkey's Paw" i'd made for our 4ths play, then asked "Is it wet?" really tentatively. Then when she grabbed it it she screamed and randomly thre it on the desk and started hitting it. I was in tears. TANGENT.

My old Physics teacher from New Zealand use to play banjo in class and patrol the playground on roller skates. Ganepark should know him. :p

It's arguably funnier though, forcing you to buy the CD.

A stunning day of no lessons. Triple 3 finished my lovely To The Lighthouse essay. 3 weeks later but they'll deal with it. Then went to art and asked him to look at my portfolio. He gave my pointers bal blah which I'll do tomorrow/the weekend, in time for my next interview at Leith School Of Art on Monday. Then, as English was cancelled, sat in the lovely sunny lawn outside the Donaldson's Building (part of the school, but the nice bit) with the rest fo the playable characters. Played Duck Duck Goose. Was immense. Epicly feel just before I got back to my space. After school went to the Cerulean meeting (Cerulean in the arts magazine we're doing) to toss around ideas and take photos. Stunning double period. The girl who lives me just fucked off instead of coming. I tried to actually be nice to her today, and she's just being a cunt, probably on her period or something. Despite fucking of early, I still had to wait 10 minutes for her to come and open the door at home.

My dad told me to get the White Album first, possibly because he knows my music taste? But then people on here do too...
-
I've never listened to a Beatles album. Something I mean to correct, but It's not my fault they're not on Spotify.

Jagged Little Pill is great, One of those albums that is just brill throughout. She did (for the anniversary) JLP Acoustic, and it's definitely smoothed over. It's...fine. But not comparable to the original. Excep Not The Doctor, which gives off a different atmosphere. Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is better though. Less hooks, mor esubstance (imo). or at least more aurally interesting. S.C.G you are indeed an inspiration to many, with lovely varied music taste. From what I'm aware of, US radio is bollocks. I mean the ones in Florida when I was last there basically had a "Best of the 80's" Cd they kept playing. I was there for 3 weeks and must have heard Hungry Like The Wolf 15 times. I'm pretty sure Morissette got a large chunk of airplay back in the day, Bjork maybe a bit, and PJ I highly doubt. But then the UK public has much better taste in general than the US public. (Radio plays and such-wise)

Yay for Oxigen. At least leetpants admitted he only listened to the radio though, so it's mildly acceptable.

Naomi, you must soon take steps into the other threads here too. Don't worry. You can do it in your own time. No one's rushing you. But there's a world of possibilities out there. *burts into to Disney-esque song about looking around you for the amazing things in life*

Patrick Wolf's new album is fantastic. *surprised?* His last one was good (a.k.a the one with the song Magic Position everyone knows, even if they don't KNOW they know) but lacking in the originality/darkness of the two before it. Love Tilda Swinton's spoken contributions. And Eliza Carthy is on it too. Random. Prolific folk singer, and friend of my family friend (who gigs around festivals, supporting Eliza).

Definitely. For me too. My life basically consists of things interrupting me from listening to music.

I have book full of real exam answers like that! It's pretty funny.

I just realised I can't buy Tori Amos' new album now! Or the house stuff I was recommended off iTunes. Oh well. I might just force my dad to pay for a bit of those tickets.
