  1. N-Euro Elite League Gameday 2 Battlestar Odwinica 2 - 0 Bayern Bru Battlestar Odwinica - 4-4-2 Bayern Bru - 4-4-2 After both teams suffered 3-0 opening day defeats, both teams were desperate to get their first points of the season. The first half was pretty quiet, with only Battlestar creating a couple of chances. The deadlock was broken by Delgadillo on 56 minutes to put the home team in front. Battlestar then sealed the points 20 minutes later, as Sherawat rolled in the second. Battlestar held out till full time to complete a good performance. Defensively they were very assured, and looked untouchable. Man of the Match - Andreu Delgadillo of Battlestar Odwinica ---------- Haden United 2 - 4 Madpool Haden United formation - 4-4-2 Madpool formation - 3-5-2 Madpool lined up in a 3-5-2 formation as they tried to win the midfield battle. They got off to a bad start, as Haden exploded out the blocks as Durov showed his wonderful ability by scoring a 30 yard screamer. The home crowd were deafening after such a good start. Reggie Hales silenced them on the 14th minute with a similar goal to Durov. Madpool started to get into the game more, which resulted in them taking the lead just after the half an hour mark. Hales whipped in a dangerous ball to Archie Gay, who finished confidently. Cuicuffio was then forced off through injury, Shimal replaced him. Madpool were on the up, and were rewarded with their third goal. Reggie Hales got his 2nd assist as he layed off Gerrard who finished beautifully. Haden made 2 changes at half time, and he got an instant response. Longhi got them back into it 6 minutes into the half with a powerful header as Durov added an assist to his brilliant record. Haden spent the rest of the half seeking the equaliser, but got no luck. Madpool finished the game off as Trainer floated a corner into the box with Sedgewick finished neatly. The referee blew the final whistle which ended a brilliant and entertaining game. Man of the Match - Reggie Hales of Madpool ---------- Rising Phoenix 0 - 1 Roostophe Rovers Rising Phoenix formation - 4-5-1 Roostophe Rovers formation - 3-5-2 With both teams fielding 5 midfielders, a battle in the middle was expected at The Rising Stadium. The game didn't start well, though, as Torquey of Rising was taken off with a painful injury. Roostophe were the only team to create chances in the first half, which soon led to the first goal. The legend that is Mazzoleni got it, with a composed headed finish. Roostophe made changes at half time to try and inject abit of tempo into the game, as they pushed to seal the 3 points. Disappointingly a player from either side went off injured in the 2nd half, the w2 unlucky players were Paul McGrath of Rovers and Eklind of Rising. The game have a couple more chances, but none had a finishing touch. Man of the Match - Martin Laursen of Roostophe Rovers ---------- Silverdale Hotpot 3 - 2 Eights United Silverdale Hotpot formation - 4-4-2 Eights United formation - 4-4-2 Two good teams were up against other, as they played a closely fought match. 2. I don't understand fanboys. Why do they feel like they owe a company their loyalty? The company just cares about getting their money, and don't really care about giving their loyal fans what they want. You're just limiting yourself to one brand, and then you miss out on experiencing what other consoles can offer. It's just naive to disregard other consoles like that, as it's blocking you from good things. I had a Wii long before i even considered getting a PS3, and i loved it. I adored Super Mario Galaxy and experienced my first Zelda game, which i also loved. I got tired of it when no games were coming out that i was interested in. When i got a PS3, i realised just how far ahead it was of the Wii. I don't dislike the look of the Wii U because it's Nintendo, or because i love the PS3. It just doesn't interest me at all.
  3. Exactly. It's pointless trying to have a normal discussion with blind fanboys who will just bring up sales figures and shit nobody cares about.
  4. I just know I'm going to lose tomorrow. It's been a nice start, but a bad run is imminent. :p
  5. I'm going to resist your troll attempt.
  6. Hardly a fallback. You can't have 5 European cups and be a joke club, especially when it's coming from a fan of a club with 0 European cups.
  7. Joke? Hmm... '77 '78 '81 '84 '05 I feel much better now.
  8. The PS3 controller is last gen compared to the Wii U, though. Your post was kind of pointless, and just seems like it was a random dig.

I'm not sure if that image is allowed Frank. I'd delete it something if i were you.
  10. I'm ignorant? That's rich coming from you haha. Dude calm down. It was abit of 'banter' (hate that word). I respect clubs achievements in the past. I know Everton have won something like 13 league titles, Forest have won 2 European cups and Villa have won in Europe aswell. I'm not a moron, I have looked up alot and consider myself reasonably knowledgable in football history for my age. It's funny how Spurs fans were singing 'who are ya' to Everton fans last night. Don't they know who Everton are?
  11. This is the Playstation thread, but i'm just going to say this here, as the Wii board scares me with it's high population of retards. I don't get the Wii U. It's just pointless. It's basically like a big DS, but shit. The controller is just a shitty gimmick, and won't even give any benefits. The examples that people have come up with for it's uses are just terrible, and there is nothing next gen about it. Bollocks like how it can be used to use killstreaks in CoD. What's wrong with pressing a button on the D-pad? Plus you'd have to look away from the screen for a second to do it, so you would probably get your face shot off while doing it. Yeah, it's rubbish.
  12. Do Spurs' fans genuinely believe they are a big club?! You and City aren't big clubs. Having money and getting in the Champions League once doesn't make you a big club.
  13. I don't even want to hear about the FA, they are an embarrasement to our country. The way they defended Rooney after his violent and deliberate kick out at a fellow player was embarrasing.
  14. I've been in Scotland, so if i can pull myself away from Football Manager for a hour or two i'll try and catch up tomorrow night.
  15. I could do nothing other than smile when Henry finished like he used to years ago, what a legend.
  16. United in the 4th round. Not happy with that. Take away the Suárez case, and i'm always up for stuffing United, but it's going to be nasty. The abuse Suárez and Evra are going to get when they play away is going to be ridiculous, and i really can see it turning nasty. Especially when Suárez scores the winner at Old Trafford.
  17. Playing games isn't massively important. If the coaching and facilities are much better then a player will still improve. He's 21 though, and he's past that stage, so you're right when you say he needs to play. So half this post is pointless. :p
  18. I wouldn't get too carried away. Doing it at League 1 level against teams like Wycombe is galaxies away from the Premiership against Man City/United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. No doubt he's got something, but many a time a prolific striker in the Football League will fail in the Premiership. He's young and will no doubt improve, so he has a higher than normal chance of making it. I think a season or two in the Championship would be beneficial.
  19. I'm happy that we will be able to see a spectacular footballer back playing in our league, will be exciting.
  20. I hold the top 5 places in the player stats. Brilliant win over a great team, just need to keep going as long as possible, as a bad run will come at some point. 5 point gap could go in a week.
