Only game I've ever played to give me motion sickness is Marathon on XBLA. Had no problems at all with this.

Dunno about the guy coming back, sounds a bit tedious to me having to wait god knows how long for him to get back. The problem was he saved it inadvertently inside, before he realised he was stuck, and his previous save is ~3hours back. (I had something similar happen to me on HL2:Ep2, whereby a glitch prevented me from proceeding. Had to start it all over again, which I couldn't be arsed to do at the time so I didn't play through it properly for a few months)

It's Band - Song people. Not just at you Rok. It's Band - Song. To me this just sounds like the stupid "Hurt N Heal" things they have constantly. Or the contests whereby each day a new round takes place between each song, with an elimination style set up. Is this really necessary / appropriate for here?

My friend apparently got about 3 hours into the game (without saving since the start), and entered some building or other. The other guy inside left and locked the door behind him, leaving my friend in the room with no lock picks and no way to get out.

I'm not cancelling, just because I know I will get it eventually (just for the "Banjo-ness", the humour, the nostalgia) and I want the BK code. May aswell get it right away to save money. I very much doubt I will love the game like I did the previous two.

Woo, finished the game last night! The end was weird, not really what I expected. Just gonna mess around with the game a little longer, buying property, doing random quests. Then I shall move on to Fallout.

Is it a good idea to preorder Left4Dead on Steam? I've never bought something from Steam before, always got a disc version for any Valve games I've bought (just purely by coincidence), but I thought I may aswell just get L4D from the service.

Just got round to playing the demo and I am very impressed. The graphics are amazing, I really do love the look of the game. The controls were much better than I expected them to be - very simplistic, and using the shoulder buttons instead of the face buttons is a very good move. Shall definately be buying this for Christmas! It it weren't for the fact I have BK reserved to get the XBLA free, I'd swap the order of them.

The thing is, I think most of the jiggies are gonna be like that; sort of individual challenges, with the hook of the game being the building each vehicle for each challenge. Hence, there will be alot of these "gimmicky" minigames. I don't see there being many ordinary platforming jiggies (in a "jiggy up high, climb there" way, think the Snowman in Freezezy Peak), because of how easy it would be to get to them. You could just make a plane and fly straight there.

You can only get the demo's on time if you use a code that gives you minimum a week of Gold.

I can agree with alot of this, but also with what Jordan said above. It's definately Banjo in spirit, in presentation, in audio/video/scipt etc, but it's definately not classic Banjo in gameplay terms. I hope this doesn't close the door to a regular Banjo Threeie, but if it's this or nothing I'll take this. Another complaint I have from the demo; I don't like the editor much. The camera being right angles only makes it really awkward. Why can't it just be a free camera?
