I'm coming very close to the point where my Blue Prince save data might become "corrupted" (i.e. no progress can be made until/if it gets patched), so I decided to tackle a trophy that has eluded me for years (since the game has been added to PS+ in 2019!) The Witness - Challenge In short: You have to solve a random assortment of puzzles. Since you unlock this challenge by beating the game (I think) and basically doing everything else it has to offer, you know how to solve these puzzles. The kicker: You only get 6 minutes and 30 seconds. In recent years I have tried to get it done many times. To no avail... Since I've come back from Spain last Monday, I decided to give it yet another go. Took me a few hours to get acquainted with the puzzle types again. Surprisingly, this didn't take up the majority of time during this attempt. Now...actually solving all puzzles in time...that is the real challenge. Especially when the song that plays during the final minutes is this: But, as you can imagine, given the fact that I'm writing this post: I did it! It was a bit anticlimactic, since I completed the challenge before In the Hall of the Mountain King reached its climax I was surprisingly calm during my successful run. I came close to getting the trophy many times and I noticed my heart beat becoming faster. Not this time Anyways, there it is: Coincidentally, this is my 200th Platinum. I don't really care about making certain Platinums special, but it is kinda cool (And yes, I know there is a way to glitch the final challenge right before the last two puzzles, but I would've done it that way years ago if I wanted to - getting it legitimately is so much more satisfying)

Borderlands is always good fun in co-op. I doubt I'll tune in, though. Just gonna watch a trailer sometime in the future

OPEN WORLD, BABY! But yeah, it's Mario Kart. Nothing particularly new and interesting for me. It'll sell like hot cakes, though, and Nintendo will sell all their games at the higher price from then on.

Same here. One of the most overrated games I've ever played. Slightly behind Undertale.

Well, the "ending" was a little...unsatisfying. Reaching it was hinted at being such a major thing, but in the end it was...nothing? I guess I have to reach it again and see whether I can actually interact with things then. Anyways, I figured out another safe code because I'm a fucking genius. There's still a few "estate-wide" things I just can't figure out. One particular puzzle is annoying, because you're confronted with it in every single room I just don't know what to do with it. I also feel like RNG will become a nightmare eventually...I assume certain combinations of rooms have to be connected and if you don't get the perfect draw...well, you're fucked. Haven't dabbled with those rooms, though, so maybe there is a way to mitigate RNG (I hope there is).

Crazy but not surprising. Nintendo is up there with the worst (in my opinion the worst) when it comes to re-releases and pricing. Then again, these days every company is the worst

Annoying news. Not particularly for me, though. I'll probably stick with the PS5 until quite a bit into the 2030s. PS+ is keeping me afloat and it's not too big of an investment per year.

Indeed it is. Came back quite late last night but ended up putting in a 3 hours session Sitting at 8h now and while I did figure out a few things, the overarching thing is still a complete mystery to me. Some things still make no sense to me, at all. Fun times. Also: Figuring out a code for a certain safe was a nightmare. First I fell into my usual habit of making things way too complicated. Then it hit me and I thought: "Oh, drahkon, you idiot - KEEP IT SIMPLE". I entered the code and...no dice. Then I realized: "Oh, drahkon, the US is a dumb dumb country - use a different date format." I entered the code and...no dice. Then I realized: "Oh, drahkon, every other country is a dumb dumb country - in Germany we tend to celebrate that holiday just a tiny bit earlier." I entered the code and...FINALLY the safe opened Stupid dumb dumb people. Anyways, this game is fucking incredible. And I've barely scratched the surface. I'm not even sure if I'm even seeing the surface...

3 1/2 hours in and...Blue Prince sure is something. I have no idea what the fuck's going on, but I'm enjoying it There certainly is/are some overarching puzzle(s)/thread(s) to solve/follow but I have no clue how things are interconnected. I did unlock one permanent "upgrade" so...yay

Currently 42 minutes into my first run. Stuck at a puzzle in a certain room. I actually got a tiny hint in a previous room, but I don't think it helps me that much. Not sure if I need more information to solve the puzzle or if I'm just stupid (I think it's the former, but I only tell that to myself so I don't feel bad). Anyways...already took a lot of screenshots and filled one page of my notebook. Not sure how I'll structure my notes...I might use two pages for each room and hope that it's enough space For now, I'll just write/scribble everything down I deem important. Edit: Aaaaand that's the end of my first run. Didn't draft a room that wouldn't lead to a dead end so...nothing left to do

Countdown on the PSN store says it'll release at 4pm German time! Perfect, 'cause that's when I'll come back home. I might, however, not be home for long so probably no long gaming session for me. Currently having the same "problem" Don't have a lot of time (and motivation) to play video games and when I do, it's usually a run of Slay the Spire: Downfall or a few hunts in MH:W Hopefully Blue Prince tomorrow will get me back. But then again, I will leave for Spain in two weeks and I'll be out of town here and there until then, so...doesn't look good. Anyways, decided to say "I'm done with Voidigo" after playing it for a few more hours on a train ride recently. It's a decent rogue-lite. Gameplay is quite good, but somehow it never clicked.

This is coming to PS+ Extra on Thursday and it's gotten great reviews with people saying it'll become a puzzle classic! Got my notebook ready

Nearing the 80 hour mark. There is almost too much content Almost. I'm still not burnt out. I'll be away for a week and I already can't wait to be back to play more! Currently in the midst of a quest which involves a certain someone I did not expect to see again. Pretty sure another battle awaits
