So we pretty much have official confirmation that your starter will have a Synchro Move. If that's the case, is this going to be unique for them? If the 4chan leaker and Chinese leaker is to be believed you could potentially change your Synchro Move on the team by swapping out certain stones. Are the starters going to retain those particular Synchro Moves into evolution or, if they really are based on what the Chinese leak claims them to be will those signature moves tie into those themes?

A lot of teams are finding success recently by playing a counter attacking style in response to the possession based football popularised by Barcelona and Spain and it seems to be helping teams that maybe aren't quite as strong but have one or two superstars in the team. Which is why you've seen teams like Leicester win the Premier League, Burton getting promoted to the Championship, Atletico Madrid reaching the Champions League Final and now I guess Portugal winning the Euros.

The Bear kind of looks like a reject rip-off of a young children's TV show or something along those lines. Or maybe just a teddy bear idea. Curious to think there were no bears in the original 151 Pokemon but ever since we have got new ones each generation apart from Gen IV (if you include Pandas)

That's a fair shout. That said, I think the accessibility of mobile phones over the 3DS means that Pokemon Go is going to be a lot more accessible for others and I have heard of people who are interested in the newer Pokemon games but don't want to buy a 3DS just for them. On another note, Some "leaked" pictures of the final starter evolutions (which might well just be very well made fakes) have been taken down off Google Image search and the internet in general en masse recently. They were posted a month ago but largely looked over because, hey, everyone posts Fake evolutions of the intial starters on the internet. It's curious therefore that these have been removed when others weren't. Not saying they're legit by any means, but it's curious if a takedown notice was issued for Fake Mons, unless their design concept was very close to what the actual final evolutions are or whether they were actual leaked concept arts sheets from Game Freak. Worringly it's the only collection of Fakemons that imply that Litten's final form is a Fire/Fighting type, though the "dirty" aspect of the "concept art" also suggests Fire/Dark. Also suggests Popplio's final form might be based on a Siren. All simply speculation of course, no way of knowing if it's true or not until the game actually comes out.

Thing is though, Portugal managed to win the final WITHOUT Ronaldo in the end. Not a particularly great Euros overall though, quite a few games with barely any goals and the team that won it took every game but one to extra time and did almost the bare minimum to get through, but congrats to Portugal on winning.

Leaning towards naming my Sun/Moon team all after video game characters or developers, so if I do go for this guy then some sort of gaming bandit or pirate combined with a lizard would probably suit him. Will be interesting to see what type of stats this guy gets. If he has over 500 in his inal form then he could be a force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah, and he is 4x resistant to Fairy type moves, so that could see him quite viable. Unfortunately he's 4x weak to Ground.

Has an ability that can poision everyone? That's crazy... Game Freak really pushing things with this gen and throwing curveballs into the metagame with some of these new abilities. I wonder if we will get some abilities that work the same way for other status conditions like being able to burn Fire Pokemon? If there's a Pokemon with that kind of ability I may consider using one.

Interested in seeing the Link Between Worlds, Tropical Freeze, Freedom Planet, Super Mario Maker and Final Fantasy VI runs but don't think I necessarily have the time to be able to watch them live. Might catch up with them at a later date.

Unfortuantely no because I don't have PokeBank. I might consider getting it though considering there's an ever growing number of legendaries on my Y version (just downloaded Shaymin a couple of days ago). I prefer to build my in-game teams using Pokemon that you can catch in that version though without having to resort to trading (although if they need trading to evolve I might consider that) If Rockruff does evolve into a Ghost type then that might give a third of my team Dark and Ghost weaknesses if Aegislash ends up on the team, but at the same time I like dogs and a Rock type Dog Pokemon that could potentially learn Ground type moves too is something I'd quite like to have. I imagine it will probably be a Physical Attacker, I would be surprised if his stats are defensively orientated even if Rock types are traditionally that.
