I went from being upset at being told the game would be delayed to being frakking delighted to hear Retro are now working on it. I was worried when I heard Retro were not working on MP4 so to have it back in their hands is fantastic news I think. I'd rather wait for good (potentially great) game than end up with a bad game that taints the franchise. Like a pint of Guinness "All good things come to those who wait"

Ok I just saved my first replay (cuz I finally got my first online wins haha) I converted it to video but when I go to the Switch's album the video is not there. Now I reading online that I have to transfer file from SD card to my laptop and upload the old fashioned way....WTF Nintendo? The Switch has the ability to upload directly...it was bad enough they didn't activate the 30second capture for this

Was thinking of looking to get a Stasis weapon as it the only element type I missing and starting to come across a few Warden Spires that need Stasis to open..... I've just found out now that there is only one Stasis weapon and it is not in any weapon pack, only available as part of the Judge ship pack. That is some balls...I wouldn't mind it having to but a weapon pack, I enjoy swapping them on on the Arwing model. But don't really want another ship model....I rarely use the digital ship with the starter pack, even if my Arwing gets destroyed I usually just take the hit and quit out and restart unless I was close to beating the outlaw base or dreadnaught. I've never even used Mason once, just Fox haha, playing it as if it were a new Starfox game haha.

Yep it was the two bad endings I missed that left me at 99.67% Didn't realise there were multiple endings haha. Got my 100% now Noticed there is now a New Game+ option....is there any benefit of doing that? Do I get to start with all fighters or will I have to awaken all over again? Gonna try do everyone's Classic mode now....and hopefully get my elusive 9.9

Just finished World of Light....with a 99.67% completion....WTF? I'm fairly OCD with these type of things, I made sure every area I was in I got all Spirits before I left. Other than this little annoyance that I will try figure out tomorrow I LOVED World of Light. Last few fights we're fantastic lovely but of fan service with that 2nd last fight And the final showdown...EPIC

Still taking my time with this as keep going back to Smash.... Struggling with trying to take out Outlaw bases in space and the second part of the Starfox/Wolf side story is to take out an Outlaw base Only level 6 keep getting my ass handed to me. Picked up some extra weapons today too while getting a Wireless GC controller. Weapon packs are still half price in the Smyth's stores here so said feck it might as well try a new weapon type. Got a pack with a Gravity weapon (can't remember name) and Shredder Mk.II The Gravity weapon lights up when put on the Arwing model! Didn't know some did that. Might have to get some more haha. Think I missing one element then am I? Magnetic is it? That was the first extra pack I got so only others are the fire and ice ones that come with starter pack.

Picked up a Power A Wireless GameCube controller for the Nintendo Switch, mainly to use with Smash Bros Ultimate but this one also has the extra Switch buttons so can work as a Switch Pro Controller with other games too I forgot how comfortable the GameCube controller is. Nintendo should have kept this form factor for all it's pro controllers post-Gamecube gen.

Has anyone got or tried the wireless GameCube controller? Does it work well with other Switch games also? Got this for myself for Xmas, been playing last few days and enjoying it. I def would not have picked it up with Star Fox in it tho, even at the price it has recently dropped to (I got it at first price drop to 45euro, in hindsight should have waited the extra few weeks but still happy with my purchase at that price) Love the arwing model but even though I know I can play without I do love having it there haha, love how the engine lights up too. I might pick up some extras for it maybe just other weapons to have a mix of elements to use. Jumping between this and Smash at moment so far enjoying it

Been really enjoying World Of Light. Was starting to get a little sad thinking I had almost finished it.....then when I thought I was done I realised I was only half way through it....hot damn the journey continues! Thought it was weird it seemed like only half the roster was available...I should have seen it coming haha

Of the 74 playable characters in the game do the 3 types of Mii Fighters count individually or just a one?

Tried to go for the 9.9 with K Rool again, got to final boss with 9.6 intensity, ended up screwing up and needed two tickets to continue...but while the tickets Don't lose intensity using them still reduces the gain after a win and only gained 0.2 so finished with 9.8 damn so close. Meh gonna sleep now and try again tomorrow Still have 4 tickets left

Just discovered how OP King K Rool is.....he makes me look like a good player...9.1 on Classic...I never gotten above 7 on any Smash game before HHis down smash just destroys everything....probably would have gotten a 9.9 if I didn't have to use a continue on the boss battle :p

Anyone ever come across an issue with control stick on the Joy-Cons? The stick on my Right Joy-Con I've noticed sometimes acts like it is being pushed when it is in neutral and untouched. It seems to happen randomly. It seems to fix itself if I then just move it and release it. I don't know if it a recent thing or something that happened before cuz most games only use it as camera so I would be usually readjusting it anyway. Only started to really notice it with Smash Bros, when playing in Handheld and got confused when randomly kept getting stuck in smash holding pose even though I wasn't trying a smash attack. Checked the Calibration settings and can see it in netrual to start with not moving. Will then wiggle it a bit and it mostly returns to neutral fine but the odd time can see it stopping just before neutral so it thinks it is very slightly being pushed...or it will slowly drift in a direction...usually down. Tried to recallibrate but still happens. Anyone ever experience this? Can it be fixed or do I need to get a new Joy-Con

Can someone tell me what the Dojo's do in World of Light...do they change Spirit's type or add skills? I left a few at some Dojo's and not sure if there a difference

I just beat him was struggling for ages probably close to an hour, in the end after I exhausted a number of fighter/spirit combinations I gave in and switched difficulty down from Normal to Easy I have no shame!!!!! The Yarn Yoshi spirit was also a tough one I did today. I was talking with someone yesterday who was having trouble with it and I thought I beat it already...but I must have been thinking of the Yoshi fighter unlock I guess

World of Light and the Spirits mechanic is just fantastic, you could be fighting the same base character 7 times in a row but with different spirits and battle conditions themed to the spirit each fight is actually unique. It actually does feel like you are fighting the spirit rather than the base fighter. The one I got stuck on for ages was the one with Yuri from Fatal Frame. It was more a fight against her assist trophy than the Zelda on stage. At the first crossroad which character did ye go for? I went for Shiek first but didn't know it would lock the other two paths, had I known that I would have gone with Martha but I resisting doing a reset and said I made my choice I gonna stick with it. Incidently when my son started playing on his profile he went for Martha so he has taken a different path than me which is great, when I watch/help him it is something different to my own file.

Just tried with Samus and Master Hand was final boss also. Guess it just some characters that have a unique boss so and I just happened to pick 3 that did as the first 3 I tried Though given Samus' Classic mode theme "Another Planet another bounty" Master Hand kinda makes sense as she is looking for big and tough bounties to collect

In World of Light, the Yuri Kozukata spirit is doing my head in. Her assist trophy continually spawns and her attacks do stupid damage and freeze you in place so the Zelda clone and just destory you gggrrrr

I must have triggered it somehow...maybe after completing a Classic mode? One my first reattempt to get Bowser I lost again and lost the option but it came back later. Weird...which character we're you using? I always start at 2.0 intensity and it goes up a bit each win
