Ah man should have stuck around for oke more looks like so haha. Yeah was a good laugh yesterday. I did not expect Magnamalo to be the 2 star urgent, that seemed kinda early. Didn't expect to see him till high rank. I got today off work and back tomorrow so hoping the kids can mind themselves (off school for Easter break) and I can plough through Village for the day and maybe get online later. Round 8 or 9 but only till about 11, back to work no more 1 am hunting haha 😂

Ah sweet, didn't notice that. Wasn't a fan of the look of equipment on my doggo so that is much better I unlocked 4star village quests and saw a Rathian quest so took revenge (multiple times) on it for what it did to @S.C.G @Blade and myself last night (or was that this morning ) Got almost a full set of it's armour done, only missing arms cuz it need a Rathlos item

I've not paid attention yet to the armour skills. Just focused on defense and res first. I got 3 sets now, Lagombi, Aknosom and Tetradon, don't even know what skills they have haha. But I loved mix and matching sets in previous games to get skills. So I will be on that soon. I assume layered armour is the same a transmog from GU? Will we be getting event quests too? Hoping for my Shadow Shades, Biker Jacket and Leather Pants make a come back. Used to love rocking that set and going into low rank lobbies to help out new hunters.

Yeah that was a good laugh, didn't feel like I had properly gotten into the online side playing with Randoms, haha. First time using Discord myself, as say worked well, till I had a weird moment near end where lost all sound. Thought my headset ran out of battery but still had sounds from phone coming through. Left call and rejoined and was fine. It's great the way now if more than one person has an urgent you don't have to be the host for it to count towards your progress. When I looked at the HR2 quests and saw Rathian I thought, nice lets finish with an old friend But I kinda went into old MH mode when I started fighing and forgot the wirebug was a thing. Kept forgetting yo use it for recovery at start of the fight haha. Using for recovery though is a great new addition. Didn't know about it during the demo only found out recently. Great for avoiding a second hit while grounded and it also puts away your weapon so you can use a potion if needed. Or if you don't take much damage you can use it to pull yourself back towards the monster to get back in the fight faster. @Hero of Time what armour was your palimute wearing that head gear looked awesome

Up to 2 star Hub now Got my first village Rampage too, gonna do that then hopefully go online if anyone is about

So I noticed Khezu was a non-key quest in Village 3star and got distracted by him as saw a route to a Thunder Switchaxe Now already have a Ice, Fire and Thunder wep. I think that gives me decent coverage. And I do believe Thunder will come in handy for the Hub 1star urgent so will be doing that later

Making some decent progress. Up to 3star Village quests, unlocked first Switch Skills. Played a online hunts which went well, sgill 1star on Hub though. Completed my first full new armour set, Aknosom, and got two Element Switchaxes already. Aknosom for fire and Lagombi for ice. I can see a Barioth quest in the village 3star so the fire axe will come in handy there Hopefully we can organise some hunts in over the weekend. Ah FFS, looks like the "new" Lan Adapter I got months ago and only using now doesn't work :'( The USB port def works as I can charge a Pro Controller off it. And the Ethernet cable works and it works with another device....balls Looks like will have to make do with Wifi even when docked for now.

So my Lan Adapter for Switch broke a while ago, bough a replacement but haven't installed as wasn't playing much online at time. Went to install it now for MHR and realised the usb cable part of it is too short for the back of the Switch dock so have to remove the door cover from the back of the dock to use it Bring on the hunt!!!

My copy has shipped, and my new Pro Controller Have Friday off work (but forgot kids have a half day at school cuz of Easter break) and have Monday off haha. Downloaded discord now too. My Switchaxe is all polished up and craves fresh Monster flesh!

Anf that's all my quests done for the demo, no Magnamalo's killed :'( When full game comes out I'm gonna take extra pleasure in hunting those things to extinction and turn them in armour and weapons!!!!! Don't think any of hunts were close, only one I timed out was the one solo hunt I did. Online with randoms all fainted out. Last hunt one guy managed to faint trying to wyvern ride the Rathian Best part of hunts was in solo attempt I finally managed to get him with his own hellblight.

Bit late but it is still technically Paddys Day for a bit more. Second Paddys Day in lockdown here. Didn't even take the day off work myself Did get up early for a morning swim with the sunrise though. Some change in the weather last few days compared to last few weeks here. I had Paddys Day off last year and day after when I went into work boss told to get what I needed from my desk to bring home and work from there, so it a year tomorrow that I been working from home when it was expected to only be a few weeks.... ...oh also I wanted to pimp my new Irish Legends storytime video that I do every Paddys Day Enjoy
