Not played update yet, won't get chance till this evening but jist watching this video on Crimson Glow Valstrax. Big take away, the gloves fornhis armour have Weakness Exploit level 2 with a level 2 slot which means you can get a full weakness exploit level 3 off just the gloves. And since my WEX sets are using talismans for WEX I'll be going to the drawing board with this baby!

Hey I did say it would be a bit scummy But if he really wants to avoid it... Of course if the host knows how you could always kick someone mid quest. I noticed someone stood still for ages in a normal quest once. Gave him about 5 mins and he never moved so kicked him It is also possible you could join a rampage like 2 mins before it ends. I tried joining a few to help some randoms out and a couple of times the quest was pretty much over.

I've seen you playing offline while I been online a few times Go on when's good for you, we can make a plan. I usually play to about 10:30 to 11ish during the week (but try stay a bit later if you only get on for 11) or to midnight sometimes later Friday and Saturdays. Alternatively (though this is a bit scummy) you could use the join request option from the board to try join into someone elses on going Apex Azuros rampage. You could then sit idle at base till they finish it

Which Rampage is it? I think there's only like 2 or 3 that are part of Urgents within the Hub quests. Apex Azuros and Ibushi HR4 and HR6...I think is there a Rathian one in HR2or3 that is more a tutorial? As Glen said they are better with a group and I think the Ibushi one is better, as are the newer Apex Rathalos and Apex Diablos ones....though I hope they get their own standard hunts in next update. Apex Azuros is the only Apex Rampage that is required as it part of the story all other are optional. I think I also started to enjoy them a bit better when I learned how to use the installations and Villagers like Elder Fugen a bit more strategically. But yeah as said there's only like 2 or 3 that are required, make a plan, meet us online we'll bash through it with ya and then it'll be over

Beat my solo Narwa record from yesterday by 11 seconds haha. Tried it again with same set from yesterday but couldn't get under 10mins again. Even when using Mega Demondrug and Demon Powder. Swapped to a Dragon Attack/Crit Boost set and went 11 seconds faster, after getting a talisman with Dragon Attack level 3 AND Weakness Exploit level 2 and 2 level 1 slots Video of the end (Spoilers for Narwa) Probably could have been a few seconds faster if I didn't miss with dive on the Soaring Wyvern Blade Slikbind

Was trying out a new build with Blast Attack, Teostra Blessing and Partbreaker. I tend to use Narwa as my tester quest for new builds. Previous fastest solo time was 10 mins 30sec I think with a Narga Axe Weakness Exploit, Crit Boost and Attack boost build. Was not expecting this new build to beat that but there it is, first under 10mins solo run of Narwa Perfect timing (or very lucky) with the sleep and attaching the explosive phail I think Glen is making this the traditional N-E post hunt celebration

Downloaded the new Event Quest, not done it yet. Where's my event armour and weapons at? Hope they start doing some crazy events soon with special conditions.. like the Baby Uragaan. That quest was a good laugh 😂

Still hoping for a Zelda theme cross over. Breath of Wild style armour. Master Sword and Hylian Shield, SnS, Wolf Link layered armour for Palamute and maybe Midna style layered armour for Palico.

First Event Quest is out now. It a Tetranadon hunt, no special conditions. Prize is a new free gesture. Damnit where's my Shadow Shades and Biker Jacket!

Did Chamelos last night. Fun hunt. I hosted a join request so had 3 randoms join who were all good hunters too. Can't remember exact time but it was less than 15 mins, didn't seem Elder Dragon level but with Teostra and Kushala waiting somewhere I figure this was just a teaser. Also got his gem/ruby/orb whatever it was off the one hunt. Now that was bloody lucky.

Gave that Advanced Triple Hunt another go and beat it. 34mins, like a marathon. Had a number of facepalm moments when trying to use fence and having one monster suddenly jump across the middle as I press button trapping both together....damnit.

Off work today but not had much chance to play yet. Managed to give the new Village quest a go, the Advanced Triple hunt in Arena. Once two monsters were in map I started messing up, bloody fence doesn't stay up long enough. Carted whioe 1st and 2nd Monster had me in a tag team. Then later 2nd and 3rd managed to corner me a 2nd cart. Managed to get rid of 2nd, left with 3rd monster, thought I was doing well then he caught me with a combo..... Might upgrade my armour before trying again now that the level cap on armour is raised also. More skills available as decorations now also, including Weakness Exploit! Maybe now I can stop farming Talismans.....(I'll never stop farming Talismans haha)

So apparently the update has more monsters than those shown in the Direct yesterday. Looking forward more to downloading later

That's insane. I not done any Arena quests yet, must give a few a try.

Chamelos, Teostra and Kushala Daora hunts added! Apex Rathalos, Apex Diablos and Magnamalo added to Rampages. Apex Azuros, Apex Mitzutsune and Apex Rathian given normal hunt quests (yay). Option to set Armour pieces as Layered Armour after HR7. Event Quests added (Shadow Shades and Biker Jacket better be rewards!) Update out tomorrow! April 28th. Next update "End of May" More paid DLC (Boooooo) for Gestures, Layered Armour, Stickers, character voices (Including Fugen's voice)....at least it all just cosmetics so I don't really care

My Facebook memories have just reminded me that Monster Hunter Tri released on Wii 11 years ago tomorrow....11 YEARS!!!!

Cheers for the help last night guys. That Narwa hunt was fun....can't believe I carted just before he was finished haha. Was doing so well up to that point. Yeah that Rath and Magna double hunt I did with JBS was probably hardest hunt I had so far. I figured for a double hunt both targets would have less health....they did not. The Rathalos took ages and dished out enough of a beating that I had to return to camp to restock potions and honey for first time ever.
