DuDs Baggies 3-0 The Adorable Vikings DuDs Baggies surged into the promotion zone with an impressive win against the Vikings. The young midfielder Lyall was the Baggies captain and had a great game. He whipped in a free kick for it to be struck in by Standen who had handed over his free kick duty. Elliot blasted a goal in after 47 minutes to seal the game, while Lyall floated in another free kick that was volleyed in to give the Baggies the win. A win that puts them into the promotion zone via goal difference. Tellstorm 0-2 Mcoys Sons Mcoys Sons fielded a solid 4-4-2 formation and gained a victory that gives them a great mid season base for winning the title. The win was achieved with a great performance by their midfield especially Heckinbottom who set up the first goal by flicking it up into the box for Harris to head in. The Sons had less possession but more chances and hit Tellstorm on the break to finish the game off just before the half ended. Harris drove with strength past two defenders and wrong footed the goalie to score his 10th goal of the season and give the Sons the victory. Battlestar Odwinica 2-0 Jaffa Munchers A clash between two promotion hunters who were chasing after the game early on. Neither could break the deadlock in the first half but a couple of yellow cards and a injury showed that the stakes were high. Just as the 1st half resumed Odwinica were awarded a free kick, Collin passed the ball to the side of the wall were a running Collin blasted it into the back of the net. Moments later Munchers striker Gasbo was injured and to compound their misery Odwinica captain Gullian who was having a superb match controlling midfield, curled in a cracking long shot. At 94 minutes the Munchers knew it wasn't their day when the captain Molhov blasted a shot above the bar. First blood to Odwinica rematch on Friday is their room for both these teams to be promoted? Complete Domstercool 3-1 Recall United United went into this match as the underdogs but star player Hollingdale headed in an early goal to give United fans hope of an upset. However Domstercool's young hope Siddall headed a goal in of his own followed by toe poke by Rodwell to send Domstercool into the lead. Domstercool's midfield dominated the 2nd half seeming very much in sync and dominated possession with over 60% of it. Siddall who had a game that has raised his profile considerably headed another goal in at 76 minutes to kill the game off and keep Domstercool's promotion hopes alive. The return fixture will be very interesting United will have to get a draw at least to keep in promotion contention. Analysis Most Important Result: Battlestar Odwinica 2-0 Jaffas Munchers, lots of important results but Odwinica has the momentum and beat a side that many thought would not leave the promotion zone once they had entered it. The return leg will be one that many in the league will watch. Turned on the Style Award: Complete Domstercool, great possession and a style that doesn't always deliver results but is very effective at killing off matches when it does. Player of the Day: Complete Domstercool, Ross Siddall, the 22 year old inspired his team and performed superbly he will be one to watch in the future if he gets the training he needs.

Last Fridays games for Division 1 Jaffa Munchers 4-0 Tellstorm The Munchers kept their promotion hopes alive as they gave Tellstorm a whipping. Tellstorm had essentially dug their own grave by fielding no subs so at one point they were playing with 9 men because of injuries! Munchers sealed the game before half time with a 3-0 lead, 2 of these goals came from McAnuff who had a great game. Munchers played superbly and deserved the result. The Adorable Vikings 4-0 Mike Strikes FC Two teams that are finished for this season having been abandoned by their managers clashed. And the Vikings came out on top destroying Strikes. Investigating this further it seems long time absent manager Tales turned up for this match! His team was up for the fight literally in some cases with a red card being given to a Viking player. However Grimnes the captain had a great game scoring twice and will be hoping the manager sticks around. Battlestar Odwinica 2-1 DuDs Baggies A critical game for promotion and the title race was a really hard fought one. Both teams fielded 4-4-2 and went out to win. Odwinica struck first as Murray jigged past a Baggies player and slotted in a great breakaway goal, marking his first for the club. However Odwinica's stadium fell silent as the Baggies gained a free kick and Standen their free kick specialist stood over the ball ran up and blasted it in. However Tate for Odwinica found himself 3 minutes later in the box with the ball and flicked it into the net, again for this first goal for the club. After the break Odwinica's midfield led by Gullian dominated the Baggies and it proved decisive as any change of a comeback was snuffed out. The promotion spot race is getting tighter. Recall United 1-2 Mcoys Sons An ill tempered game that saw 3 yellow cards in the opening period of play, then witnessed a penalty for United which captain Steep neatly converted. Moments later Sons made a vigorous attack which resulted in a penalty for them! Jevons blasted it down the middle to make it 1-1 and by this time both sides had a bad taste in their mouth. Dabic for United was seriously injured after a reckless tackle by Harris who was booked. The two sides went back and forth as more cards and injuries amassed, Through all this chaos the Sons were given a free kick which Moses blasted into the net after it was passed to him. United tried to fight back but captain Steep while trying to get the ball pushed a Sons player out the way and was given a 2nd yellow and sent off. A very ill tempered match that gives Sons title hopes a big boost. Analysis Most Important Result: Battlestar Odwinica 2-1 DuDs Baggies makes the promotion fight very tight and gives Odwinica some momentum Turned on the Style Award: Jaffa Munchers, easy game but won it with clear style. Player of the Day: Mcoys Sons, Adrian Moses, had a great game and scored the crunch goal in a chaotic game.

Audio Soap Box Utd 1-2 Made of Win Made of Win badly needed to live up to their name and win a game to escape the relegation zone as we head to the half way point of the league. Things looked grim as managerless Utd were awarded and converted a penalty 4 minutes into the game. Made of Win defensive 5-3-2 formation seemed to be badly holding them back. However a scrappy clearance led to a close range shot and the score was 1-1 at 77 minutes. With 5 minutes left Stuart scored his first goal of the season with a well directed header to drag Made of Win out of the relegation zone. Party at Richters 0-6 MadDog United United scored an utterly devastating victory against Richters. Going on the attack straight away with a 3-4-3 formation United pushed forward. After 5 minutes they were rewarded as the captain Hadley headed the ball in. The first half was basically an attacking masterclass, 11 chances were created and 6 converted. Hard to pick out players to compliment, Jeeves did well commanding defense with just 3 players, Carpenter scored 2 and made 2 but everyone was great. United now have a positive goal difference and still have to be seen as an outsider to be promoted. Edd Kirby Athletic 0-0 Silverdale FC Athletic failed to notch up their first win in this frustrating game for them. Both teams midfields had good periods of creativity and plenty of chances were created for both teams. However while Silverdales team was balanced front and back. Athletic's strike force but in yet another abysmal performance. However Atheletic keeper Bain had a wondrous match making saves with ease. In the end this led to both teams canceling each other out. The draw leaves Silverdale just outside the promotion zone but with a game extra played and Athletic in the relegation zone badly needing a win. Noodle FC 1-1 Tin Can Club A crucial game between two title contenders as Noodle FC tried to break Tin Can Club's unbeaten record. Tin Can Club amazingly played a 4-2-4 formation and drove wildly up the pitch scoring after 4 minutes as Gudbrandsson side footed a cross from a corner into the net. Noodle recovered and began to create more chances against Tin Can Club's 2 man midfield. However their title aspirations seemed to be slipping away until they got a corner of their own which was curled in for Batistuta to head down through the goalies legs. The game ended at 1-1, givng Tin Can Club a great result but also keeping Noodle FC in the title hunt just about. Analysis Most Important Result: Noodle FC 1-1 Tin Can Club, Noodle had a chance to end Tin Can Club's unbeaten streak but failed to do so. Turned on the Style Award: MadDog United, 11 chances in 1 half! Awesome football. Player of the Day: Edd Kirby Athletic. Marshall Bain, while the attackers are failing Athletic's goalie are giving them half a chance of staying up. If you meant a dirty trick then that was not me I will show you my clubs bank account if you dont believe me baby! I can take a guess at exactly who would want to cause a civil war between us two though.

Interesting as Japan has been one of Americas big allies in the region since WW2. I wonder if they will start to use their army again. That would be very interesting. -

Audio Haden United 3-0 Roostophe Rovers A crucial match for two teams that are as of now title contenders. United played a balanced 4-4-2 while Rovers tried to dominate the midfield with a 3-5-2 formation. United struck first as Weesle found Camconi the veteran defender in the box, where he unbelievably shot in a great goal. Tensions seemed to flair up as both teams nervously tried to create chances in what was a tight game. Every one of Rovers defenders earned themselves a yellow card as the game became closer. However in the 79th minute United star player Agostini headed in a cracking goal, moments later Weesle broke through on goal and was pulled back. Camconi stepped up to take the penalty and scored his 2nd goal! The match was over and United gained a great victory and kept themselves in the title race, a race that Rovers themselves are still very much in. Emo Blades 3-0 Dysonism F.C Blades fans have been the whipping boys of various traveling fans. The Blades simply seemed incapable of scoring goals, 6 games and not one in sight. However after 2 minutes against Dysonism the Blades gained a corner and new signing Zeca at last got a goal for the club with a header in off the crossbar. The stadium erupted and the players bundled Zeca. Disaster soon followed for Dysonism, one of their defenders was injured in a rough tackle and the manager had no defenders on the bench. He was subbed for inexperienced midfielder Sprito who sadly was not up to the task. The Blades gained another corner after half time which Zeca whipped in and Coid volleyed home. At this point the Blades were creating chances left and right and scored one last one after a shot in the box. A superb win for the Blades they can score goals! Essex Elites 1-0 Secret United The two rivals from the championship last season met again in the Premier League today. Having beaten Cube FC on Tuesday the Elites wanted to beat United today. After 8 minutes the Elites midfielder Hooke found himself with room in the box and curled one past United's keeper. The Elites needed this win and found themselves having to repel United attacks. While they also pushed forward, United just about had more chances. However the Elites defense was on great form with goalie Telfer putting in the best match of his career to secure 3 points for the Elites and shoot them into 3rd place in the league. Cube FC 0-3 AFC Rezs Rabies This was in many ways last chance saloon for Cube FC and sadly for them they failed to bail themselves out. Cube went for broke playing 4-3-3 however Rabies 4-4-2 worked out much better. Rabies had 4 chances to none in the first half and scored via Messiah and Wiberg. All aspects of the Rabies were in sync and linking up superbly. Cube simply did not have anything to offer, Rabies soaked up the pressure in the second half and Gladh broke away and slotted in the 15th goal of his career. For Cube they are now surely finished and should look to rebuild for the Rabies they are now only 3 points from safety. Analysis Most Important Result: Every one was important this week but, Cube FC 0-3 Rezs Rabies as it seemingly buries Cube FC this season and gives Rezs Rabies a load of momentum to build on. Turned on the Style Award: Emo Blades, what a turnaround turned on the style big time. Player of the Day: Bartholomew Telfer, Essex Elites, gave the goalkeeping performance of his life to get the Elites a much needed victory.

Lower League past games double header! We are now up to date people! IP bans are a mere setbacks for this show! Interview people will be PM'd tom Audio Apt! 4th of September Tellstorm 2-0 Mike Strikes Tellstorm's fans wanted a much needed morale boosting win and for a while it seemed even against a side sans manager this may not be possible. Tellstorm dominated possession but their frankly limp attacking force failed to make any impact. It took until the 92nd minute for a goal to come then Arasson shot in another a minute later to make it 2-0. The scoreline makes it seem a more respectable win than it actually was. Both teams are going nowhere and are desperately in need of a fresh start. Recall United 0-0 DuD's Baggies Two teams that could potentially be promotion rivals sparred against each other without either hitting a K.O. United decided to play Deacon solely up front using a 4-5-1 formation, he failed to be suppled effectively by the midfield who created less chances than Baggies. On the ones that fell upon him he failed to control properly and had a disappointing game. Baggies also lacked punch and didn't field their star striker Elliot. United have still yet to beat a promotion rival while for Baggies they may be disappointed they didn't take more points but will look forward to the return tie. The Adorable Vikings 0-2 Battlestar Odwinica Odwinica had a chance to show off future talent against the manager-less Vikings. This was seen after 25 minutes when 18 year old youth Oliver headed in a well placed cross to give Odwinica the lead. Odwinica dominated possession with Collin and Gullian locking down and controlling play in midfield. Collin 3 minutes before the end of time advanced up the pitch and decided to take a shot for nothing which ended up slamming into the side of the post and in to roars from traveling supporters. Another good solid display of the long term strategy that Odwin is cultivating. Complete Domstercool 2-2 Jaffa Munchers Complete Domstercool had a point to prove against the Munchers, after he has been accused of not being a fully competitive side from a few pundits. Mansell's header early on seemed to give Domstercool's fans hope, Domstercool midfield heavy side dominated possession and closed out the half. However in the 2nd half the Munchers came out fighting. Haky shot in a long range effort to tie things up soon after the restart. Mansell replied with his own long range effort but Domstercool picked up a number of injuries during the match. The worst was the one to veteran defender Horner who was replaced by a midfielder because of lack of cover. The injured side failed to stop Munchers pushing forward and Albalah Munchers captian headed a goal in to give the Munchers a well deserved draw. Analysis Most Important Result: Complete Domstercool 2-2 Jaffa Munchers, turning of the tide? Domstercool needs to get some good victories against top teams Munchers did well with this result. Turned on the Style Award: Jaffa Munchers, turned on the attacking flair to get the away draw. Player of the Day: Complete Domstercool, Miles Mansell, the young striker punches well above his weight and scored two great goals to get his team a point. 8th of September Mcoys Sons 4-1 Complete Domstercool Mcoys Sons hosted Domstercool with a clear objective to show who the true title contenders were. The Sons got off to a blistering start when Harris dodged past two defenders and slotted one past the goalie to put the Sons into the lead. Jevons the up and coming Sons player then headed one in to the helpless Domstercool's defense. Harris then played more party tricks nutmegging a defending before wrong footing the goalie and scoring another, by this point the match was over. As the second half began yes that man again Harris weaved into the box one more time to then flick it over the goalie and complete a wonderful hat-trick. Siddal broke away from a sleepy Sons defense to gain some pride back for the visitors. But it was to late, Harris sadly was injured before the end but was given a standing ovation as he left the pitch. Mike Strikes FC 0-5 Battlestar Odwinica Another away win against a manager-less side for Odwinica. The match was never in contention, after 8 minutes Gullian headed the ball in from a Collin curling cross. A goal just before half time sealed the win to the satisfaction of many Strikes fans who left the pitch. Those who stayed would have seen a great display by Collin who shot in two great long range efforts and set up another headed goal. But credit must be given to the whole team, a great display could they be going up this season? DuDs Baggies 2-0 Tellstorm This was a must win game for the Baggies to keep up their promotion hunt. Straight away in the match the Baggies bound forward and were awarded a free kick just outside Tellstorm's box. Freekick specialist Standen stood over the ball, stepped back and wrapped his foot around the ball sending it curling around the wall into the net leaving the goalie standing. Tellstorm began to chase the game and landed themselves two yellow cards and shortly after the half resumed they gave away another free kick outside the box. Standen stepped up again and walked back but this time quickly ran forward and blasted it in wrong footing the goalie. The free kick master was on top form and got his team a crucial 3 points. Jaffa Munchers 2-0 Recall United Jaffa Munchers headed into this match wanting the win and played 4-3-3 while United played their usual 5-4-1 leaving Deacon up front again. Early in the first half things remained static with few openings for either team, two of the Munchers team were injured and on came subs Molhov and Tal. As the 2nd half resumed these two subs looked more and more threating and soon Molhov headed in a goal from a long lob. Minutes later Tal headed in his own goal! A great pair of subs gave the Munchers the victory and kept them in the title race. Analysis Most Important Result: Mcoys Sons 4-1 Complete Domstercool, strong victory shows a divide and puts the Sons in the ascendancy and Domstercool looking unsteady. Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, super display of attacking football a title winning display. Player of the Day: Mcoys Sons, Broderick Harris, clean sweep for the Sons, Harris was incredible had the game of his life and scored a mesmerizing hat-trick.

Audio Party at Richters 4-1 Soap Box Utd Two managerless sides clashed and Richters came off best. Richters players decided to implement an attacking 3-4-3 formation and it worked well. Two goals before the half time sealed the win, a small fightback was made when veteran Rosando scored a header in the 57th minute. However Richters despite having a forward as their goalie sealed the win with another 2 goals. Both teams are seemingly without a future but hopefully their managers will return or they will be issued new ones. Tin Can Club 5-1 MadDog United United have been been causing upsets in recent games but to take out the unbeaten Tin Can Club was even beyond their powers. United did take the lead after 13 minutes with a diving header from Book and their midfield and defense worked in tandem to keep the lead secure until the 44th minute. In the 44th minute Johannsson whipped in a great cross that was headed in and just as United were recovering, Johannsson sprinted down the wing and did the same again! Two more goals were scored after the restart with Johannsson getting one of his own, then finally the 5th was shot in at 67th minute. It was a magnificent offensive display by Tin Can Club. All parts of their squad performed well and they are now clear favorites to go up. MadDog United performed better than the score suggests but their defense does need to be strengthened. Made of Win 0-5 Happenstance FC Since Happenstance's loss to Tin Can Club they seem to have been out to prove they are the best team in the league. Today they took their anger out on Made of Win. Made of Win played 4-2-4 again but Happenstance took this as an indication that they would be allowed to gain possession and attack. Ronaldo had the best match of his career and shot the ball through the legs of the keeper early on. In the 2nd half he pounced again with a bit of showmanship that led to a half volley flying into the net. Two more goals followed before Ronaldo curled in a free kick to give him a hat trick. A great day for Happenstance who are keep their titles hopes going strong and also still have the best goal difference in the league. Silverdale FC 1-1 Noodle FC The two teams currently battling for the last promotion spot had a grueling game today. Both teams had chances early on and Noodle fans were ecstatic when after 7 minutes Ramos headed the ball home. Silverdale's Sidwell lived up to his reputation as the teams best striker when he scored with his own header later on in the half. Just before the half finished Noodle player Eden was injured in a mis timed tackle. Afterwards tempers were high as both sides tried to make a breakthrough. Silverdale player Riley was barged into and injured badly and a fight nearly broke out between the players. Lightbody who had created a goal for Silverdale in the first half was one of the players involved in the arguments and just before the end he took a Noodle FC player out with a double footed challenge and walked off the pitch before the ref even took the red out. A dramatic game that leaves 3rd place still under contention! Analysis Most Important Result: Tin Can Club 5-1 MadDog United, Tin Can Club still haven't lost a game and showed that they may be title contenders in this match. Turned on the Style Award: Happenstance FC, the other team that seem to look like title contenders put on a great attacking display today with a hat-trick to boot. Player of the Day: Happenstance FC, Leopoldo Ronaldo, Great Hat-trick and is living up to what his manager wanted.

Audio Emo Blades 0-0 Haden United Both teams needed a win from this match but for both teams their defense was their best feature. Blades decided to try and score a goal after 6 competitive games by playing 5-3-2 but failed to do so with United's midfield gaining more possession. However the Blades defense was superb with every player putting in a great combined effort. The Blades gain another point after another 0-0 game but for them it will mean relegation unless they can finally score a goal and win a match. United meanwhile have themselves not won a match for a long time and are seeing themselves drift down the table. AFC Rez Rabies 2-2 Dysonism F.C Rez Rabies went into this match very much the underdogs against an inform Dysonism. They played a 4-4-2 formation against Dysonism's midfield heavy 3-5-2. Rabies fans however where in disbelief as their side took the lead with Gladh curling in a great long range effort for his first goal of the season. The half finished and Dysonism came out on the attack creating plenty of chances, Sandford headed in an inevitable goal to bring the scores equal. However Rabies took the lead at 74 minutes and suddenly a victory seemed possible! The game slid into injury time and Rabies fans looked at their watches when out of nowhere Bakboord turned a Rabies defender and shot a goal into the top corner. Rabies may feel that justice was not done but Dysonism fought hard and retain their position as title contenders. Roostophe Rovers 2-1 The Sixty Fourthers The match that most people were excited about was this one. Roostophe Rovers had the chance to stop the league leaders in their tracks. Both teams went on the attack from the opening, Rovers struck first with Cuadrado hitting a ball on the half volley inside the area to put his side ahead. 64's struck back 5 minutes later to equal it up at 1-1, however in the 25th minute impressive midfielder Yaketi came limping off. 2 minutes later with momentum on their side the Rovers pushed forward and Mazzoleni headed in the ball off the crossbar and into the net. The 64s players began to cahse the game and within 10 minutes 3 of them had yellow cards. In the 2nd half the Rovers kept attacking and making chances and it could have been 3 but the 64's held solid and the game ended 2-1. A vital game if the 64's would have taken anything from this game they would have been clear title favorites as things stand it is still to close to call. Secret United 5-1 Cube FC Cube FC seemed destined to go down and this result added weight to those who think its time for them to prepare for relegation. Secret United were rampant, Brusling and MacCalman set up all 5 goals between them and United's midfield secured 60% of possession and made 11 chances. It was more how many rather than who was going to win. Kit scored two in the first 20 minutes with Rafelinho blasting in his 5th of the season to put the game out of reach before half time. Norcott briefly gave Cube FC some hope with a header that looped over the keeper for Cube FC. But two more goals from United gave them a resounding win and puts them in a position of strength to see the other team they were promoted with Essex Elites. Analysis Most Important Result: Roostophe Rovers 2-1 The Sixty Fourthers, keeps the title race very much alive an important result and not just for the two teams involved. Turned on the Style Award: Secret United, could they go all the way? There are murmings that they have the best partnership in the league a devastating return to form. Player of the Day: Secret United, Davy MacCalman, just because he got one more assist than Brusling otherwise they would have to share the award. I will interview Twozzok and J7 after Fridays matches check your inboxes. Twozzok I will just PM you 3 questions just send me back the answers, you get bonus points if its given back with your answers after each question so I can copy and paste it easy!

I was pointing out to Shorty that in some countries children would have been brought up to believe religion was a bad thing and people who follow it should be punished. While you are a democracy loving atheist with liberal ideas Communism has paired itself with Atheism after Marx. Before him Communism and Christanity were actually quite heavily paired together. I am making no comparision I don't know if its because you have heard people say that before but I don't think I did that at all. I was merely pointing out that stuff like this happened in Communist China. "Persecution of Christians in China has been sporadic. The most severe times were during the Cultural Revolution. Believers were arrested and imprisoned and sometimes tortured for their faith. Bibles were destroyed, churches and homes were looted, and Christians were subjected to humiliation. Several thousand Christians were known to have been imprisoned between 1983-1993. In 1992 the government began a campaign to shut down all of the unregistered meetings. However, government implementation of restrictions since then has varied widely between regions of China and in many areas there is greater religious liberty." I agree with what Oddy said it was basically the point I was trying to make against Shortys generalisations.

THE VILLAN! Hes a Buckley fan to. And he ruined my joke by posting in the thread before I could post this. J7 already posted one of my answers though so this was the way to go.

Godamnit basically last two games no offence well this is actually a compliment, I have been against two teams that are worse than me but have guessed all my tatics. Am I that predictable? Am I George Bush in the lead up to the Iraq War we all know whats going to happen? I am at a loss do I have to play 4-2-4 with one goalie as a 4th striker and another as a playmaker against the Villan to have a game where someone doesn't guess my tactics? Either that or Moria has hacked my account and is PMing my tatics like the dirty cheat he is. Still all these results will make good fun for my report anyone want to be interviewed?

Audio Soap Box Utd 0-4 Tin Can Club Tin Can Club unbeaten run continued as they trounced the abandoned Soap Box Utd. Knowing they were probably in for an easy game Tin Can Club played a 3-4-3 formation and went straight for Utd. Johannsson shot a blistering effort in from just outside the box for his 4th goal in 5 games. Just before half time young prospect Egill picked up a semi serious injury that will see him out of action for Tin Can Club for a week. However Tin Can Club found new life in the 2nd half and scored 3 more goals 1 shot and 2 bullet like headers. They are now top of the league with 13 points gained out of a possible 15. MadDog United 1-0 Silverdale FC MadDog United are perhaps best known for their shock win against Noodle FC away but today notched up another good victory against high flying Silverdale FC. United favored a cautious approach playing 5-4-1 while Silverdale played a more aggressive 4-3-3 formation. However United's midfield led by Hadley retained possesion and made it hard for Silverdale to push forward. United's defense was led by the inspirational Jeeves who surely had the best match of his 29 game career at United. Not only did he frustrate Silverdale's attack but after 17 minutes whipped in a magnificent curling corner for Carey to head in. Silverdale had nothing left to fight back with and still lack a big win against a top tier side, their next match at home to Noodle is a big test. As for MadDog they still have elements to improve on but are getting the right results after a shaky start. Edd Kirby Athletic 0-0 Noodle FC The only team without a win Athletic took on high flyers Noodle FC. The game was from the get go a high tempered affair with some of Noodle FC's stars including Zakay and Robinho getting yellow cards very early in the game. Noodle FC had big issues with the referee who made a number of contensted calls and in the end Noodle had 4 players booked. Zakay seemed to let it get to his head and had a terrible game. Noodle FC had most of the possession and 6 chances to 1 but could never get past Atheltic's keeper Bain. Who had the match of his life making several incredible saves and frustrating Noodle FC again and again. However Atheltics striking pair had an abysmal match with their youthful midfield also struggling to keep up to pace. A game which both sides may look back on and wish they had gotten more. Happenstance FC 6-0 Party at Richters Richters are now officially an abandoned team so Happenstance FC knew they would have an easy match ahead of them. However they took it on in style. Burbage was his usual outstanding self, commanding the midfield setting up Alejo for his 4th and 5th goals of the season within 13 minutes before scoring one for himself 2 minutes after that. Burbage then set up another goal on the 30 minute mark and headed one in the top corner 3 minutes later. Does he know he is 32 years old? Ronaldo made it 6 after shooting home a penalty late in the game, but then injured himself moments later. However he should be fit again soon, a minor concern for Happenstance FC who now have the best goal difference in the league and seem destined to go straight back up to the Premier League. Analysis Most Important Result:*MadDog United 1-0 Silverdale FC, good game which made the league more competitive and it is still hard to guess how many promotion candidates there are. Turned on the Style Award:*Happenstance FC, Burbage had a field day superb dominant display. Player of the Day:*Edd Kirby Athletic's, Marshall Bain, had the game of his life to keep his team in the match and gained his team a point. Honorable mention should be made to Jeeves of MadDog United who also had a great game. 1st Sep Division 1 results. So sorry guys I feel like a drunken Dad that keeps telling this son hes going to quit. I will catch up this week a double header is coming, been back at work but also admittedly playing L4D. Anyway hope you enjoy has an interview with Mcoy so its not all bad! Plus a great intro song you guys get a different one every week unlike the other loser leagues Audio Mcoys Sons 1-1 Jaffa Munchers Mcoys Sons look to be one of the favorites to be promoted but went against a well organized Munchers squad. The Sons were determined to play attacking football and it looked to have paid off as Heckingbottom blasted in a well crafted goal after 15 minutes. The visitors began to chase the game and gained two yellow cards for their troubles. Just before half time multi talented Munchers striker Gasbo pounced on a ball in the penalty area to even things up. The game descended into frantic action as it resumed both teams pushing and pushing. Neither team had the cutting edge but in the chaos 3 players were injured and goal scorer Gasbo was given a straight red for dangerous play. After such exertion both teams may have been disappointed with the draw. DuD's Baggies 3-1 Complete Domstercool DuD's Baggies had a crucial match today against the league leaders and their home crowd gave them their complete support. However things started badly as a freekick was shot into the box and headed in by Miles to give Domstercool the lead. A moment of inspiration by Forsyth gave Elliot the chance to break away and tie things up before half time. As the second half began the Baggies seemed full of spirit and created more chances, it was Standen though who shot in a screamer of a free kick to give the Baggies the lead. After this the Baggies contained play and the game was finished off in the 91st minute by a half volley from Forsyth. A crucial win for the Baggies who more than proved themselves against the league leaders. Mike Strikes FC 0-1 Recall United Recall United are a team that are noted for a great defensive record but also not the best attacking record to compliment it. They faced off away against managerless Strikes FC but chose to still go with a 5-4-1 formation. As well as fielding what some may consider their worse striker, Godden. Things looked grim for Recall as they dominated possession but failed to find a killer edge to score. It seemed the game would end 0-0 until Streep broke away in the 87th minute with a goal that settled the nerves of both the manager and fans. Tellstorm 5-1 The Adorable Vikings Another team without a manager and another defeat for them. However this one was never in doubt. Tellstorm dominated possession with over 60% in both halves and scored after 7 minutes soon after they had a penalty which was blasted high and wide by their captain. However in the 2nd half the game was sealed by a flurry of goals, Jakobsson scoring the last one with a lovely chip over the keeper to round off a great performance that gives Tellstorm their first victory. Analysis Most Important Result: DuD's Baggies 3-1 Complete Domstercool, DuD Baggies always seem to feature in important games, they made a huge mark with this victory a great result that opens the promotion race up. Turned on the Style Award: Tellstorm, a flurry of games meant their first victory was a glorious one. Player of the Day: DuD's Baggies, Marvin Standen, headed a strong defense then sealed the win with a blistering free kick. Mcoy Interview! How is your season going so far in your opinion?
