Hehe looks like Civ 4 is unappreciated around these parts. Changes are religion now forms quite a big element in the game, if you have a different religion to someone else they aren't to happy with you. Government wise you select indivdual parts rather than just say Communism or Democracy. You could have Universal Suffrage and Slavery or State Owned Prorperty and Pacifism. Borders are more important and now you HAVE to declare war to enter someones border or get a open border agreement no more having to ask the computer every turn to get out. Spamming Cities is harder to do as they cost upkeep, also the game is slowed down at the start I think. Anyway it seems unlikely seeing how er domant the thread is (how I was hoping Mr Odwin had Civ 4 ) but anyone want a multiplayer game?

I have heard this before although I am not sure if I am convinced. Ok this thread is about questions in life that are somewhat off-beat or you wouldn't ask in real life. Why does having less sleep but in a more traditional timeset 10pm-8am make you feel better than having more sleep in a wierd time period 2am-2pm? Why do you develop saggy skin under your eyes if you don't get enough sleep? Why can't unscratchable cd's be made? Why haven't cars been made yet that can park sideways? Why do women make a lot of noise during sex but men don't? Why are breasts so attractive? Why is pink considered a feminine colour and blue a masculine colour? Why are there less romantic idealists teenagers in Britian and more chavs?

I love Star Wars, grew up with it brought millions of toys talked about it with friends etc. I loved the sense of adventure, the humour, the range of characters, the sense of personality that places had (like mos esiely), the fact that people weren't all black and white (including han solo for a while), lightsaberes, great plot twists. I mean it had it all. Now the new trilogy retains some of this but it also loses a lot of the personality of the old trilogy. Jar Jar is an abomination and I have no idea what George was thinking, oh wait I do as he told the press that he wanted a comedy charcter based on 30's movies. Nice one Lucas. The love scenes something that should have been superb are horrific. "I am hoping the kiss you should never have given me won't become a scar" "Your inside my very soul torturing me". That is like Dawsons Creek on crack, with Han and Leia you had derogratory humor but you could tell they were in love. Sadly no great space fights in the new trilogy. The lightsabre fights however are wonerful and I adore the episode 1 fight as well as THE big fight in 3. So I do like the new trilogy but it has a lot of crap in it, "GET EM R2 GETTT EMMMMMM!" at the start of the new film is sick. But the emperor delivers the best comedy performance ever. Mace Windu "Your going to die" Emperor (in the best voice ever) "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU WILL DIEEEEEEEE AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Anyone got it? I played two games so far and got beaten both times sadly. I like the inclusion of religion and Spock, also diplomacy seems better and clearer. Does anyone want a multi game of this? (Would have to be dedicated as it would take multiple games.)

What is it about PS2's? Why do they seem to break down more than other consoles? As for myself I missed the PS2 this gen, however my PSP I am hoping is gonna give me some PS2 style loving. Port Away people port away :wink: Burnout and Wipeout have already been cool games that I couldn't have played on my Gamecube, well Burnout 2 I could have but not the new tracks etc.

Watched a friends copy last night. The small screen really puts the crap acting to the forefront while not allowing the epicness to flourish. Still glad I watched it I had a great laugh :wink: Will buy it myself though maybe it can redeem itself in a second viewing.
