You need to buy the upgrade on the WiiU menu's, the Wii menu you can continue to use the Wii points. I checked last night after the upgrade. As far as i know, if the content was on the Wii before the transfer, then it's applicable for the upgrade.

£1.50 is the cost, compared to getting it new @ £5.50. I think it's only if it was existing on the Wii beforehand, i don't think it will work this way around.

I think this is the right place for this, i know it's console-related but.... Since my Wii-U arrived yesterday, i ran the connection to get it going on the internet. It said it was connected to the net, which was good. But during the stupidly large update, it disconnected from the internet probably 50 times. And since the update, it either connects for 5 minutes before disconnecting or won't connect at all. Usually fires many error messages at me, and checking those online they are mainly interferance issues. Firstly, moving the router closer is out of the question. It's my parents house, and it's fixed in the room it's in (thanks to BT). We are in the process of considering a new location for it, but it will involve moving the phone line to do this. My Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo 3DS and Smartphone all connect fine to the router where it is just to inform. I've tried one solution already, which was to manually enter the internet connection stuff onto the Wii-U (IP, SSID etc). I can connect it via my phone, but that will only be used for downloading Virtual Console titles or game updates/patches at present. It works, but gives error messages still. It randomly connects/disconnects all the time. The only other option i have is to hard-wire the Wii-U to the router via a LAN adaptor/ehternet connection or via the PC and share the internet that way with the LAN adaptor. I can't give a full answer until i get home tonight, but anyone got any solutions i can try before i fork out £30

I managed to get it today, finally. Now the pain in the arse bit. Trying to connect the Wii-U to the internet long enough to allow the system update to commence.

Society (in some cases, not all) are complete tools. I've had many a problem with the people who live around the area, and they expect help when they have issues. I've forwarded on my complaint to the council.

Aye, the neighbors have received many complaints to the council about their behavior, attitude etc (in the whole section i'm in, they are the only ones in a council-owned place). I've forwarded on my issues to them, who knows. Maybe they may be forced to move away. I've been round the house 3 times this morning, i know they are there. They don't want to answer the door. As soon as i see them walk out the door, which won't be long, i'll be straight out the door.

Nope, 8 hours before i bang on the door. Best get some sleeps. I had the boxes in my hands in-store, ordered them for £10 cheaper on Amazon. They arrived the other day, again at neighbors. Remind me, next time that the neighbor wants me to hold onto a package, to hold it for a week.

Bit of news. Parents called, said my neighbour dropped over a package for me. Only the games, i know the console is still there as i saw it this morning. They are just teasing me now.

Sweet. am already booked off on the 10th. Not fussed on Sony at the moment, but i can watch highlights Wednesday.

I'm considering that action. Worst thing is, i can see the box in the hallway with no way of reaching it. I'm going to be outside his house from 9am banging on the door. I don't care if i wake anyone up.

It's on my Wii still, shall be one of the first titles i shall play after the transfer to Wii-U tomorrow. A great game to say the least, it is easily one of the best, if not THE best Mario game.

Good news, my neighbour have come home. Bad news, he's on night shift and leaves for work at 5pm (i don't finish until 6:30pm). Double damn!!!!!

It's not as good as the previous 3 titles that is certain. They shouldn't have really made it, but it is decent.

The thing is, i know it's there because Asda called and said they left it there. The neighbor left a note in my door saying they won't be back until Wednesday at earliest. If they did want to play it, best of luck. Lucky me, Asda forgot to drop the games with it. So i've got Mario and Monster Hunter on order. Sadly, no console to play them on. Wonder what arrives first It's a pity, these neigbours arn't the smartest bunch. They've been known to go out and leave the door unlocked (i've checked, it's locked this time around (damn again))

Multiplayer-wise, it's not as good as Gears 3. Not enough modes and people play like idiots. Singleplayer wise, it's not bad. I like the additional missions and the controls are easy enough to get used to.

I've got a 160gb HDD with it's own power as a precaution. Which according to Ninty, i can use to expand the Wii-U memory. Mine arrived as well. I know where it is, it's next door with the neighbors. I was out when it was delivered, and now they have gone away for a few days.

Short notice, but i'll do the draw 9pm tonight. Would have given more notice, but i've been busy and making the most of the weather on my only day off this bank holiday.

Excellent, it's a deal that if missed you may have regretted. And as it's not an official cut, who knows. Just waiting on mine to arrive, but because of stock (due to the recent price-cuts) i may have to wait until next week. Which i don't mind, i got a few 360 titles to clear.
