Ride The Lightning was one of the first albums I bought. And it's still something really special to me. Fade to Black is more than a bit fantastic. There's no denying they've gone a bit off course in recent years (Well... in the last 10 years) but they used to be on top of their game and then some. If you liked Lightning and Puppets, you'll love Megadeth. Mustaine wrote most of the riffs for those two albums apparently anyway.

I hadn't even noticed either one, i'm still a bit stunned at that number of DS' sold in the US and the PS2 still doing so well for itself. Does the DS still get numbers like that in Japan? Surely by now eveyone owns one? 22k for the Cube is pretty impressive as well. Couldn't help but lol at n/a for the Xbox. Poor little thing

I'd say if it was a list of important consoles it would have gone NES > Playstation > Megadrive > PS2. I think they were judging them on the impact they had on the industry as well as the games they had. That's why it's the top 10 greatest consoles and not the top ten software libraries. That's why the Gamecube wasn't up there.

That was an excellent episode. South Park is always at it's best when it's being funny as opposed to topical. That's why The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka and the one with Korn are the best episodes imo.

Yeah, I would have probably put the DS up there somewhere as well. It's only a few years old but it already has more than enough quality games to warrant it's presence. Other than that, I like the list. Well, most of it.

I get the feeling that they only put the PS up there because of it's impact rather than it's games. My list would go: 1. PS2 2. Dreamcast 3. SNES 4. N64 5. Megadrive 6. Saturn 7. PS1 8. GBA 9. PS1 10. 360 maybe? I'm not sure.
