Some US retailers already sell DJ Hero for as low as $75 (around £45) to clear stock. Unsold DJ Hero boxes takes up a lot of storage space...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition

A bitter man who didn't get a free review copy in advance as he's used to... -
Zelda in 2011 might not be so bad. With New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Red Steel 2, Monster Hunter 3, No More Heroes 2, Sin & Punishment 2 and Epic Mickey within the next 12-16 months I don't think I'll miss it.

I agree. Or maybe it's to avoid being released at the same time as Resi: TDC?

Delayed till next year: "Konami has told Eurogamer that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will be released across Europe in February 2010."

Amusement Vision was closed down in 2005 and the dev team was integrated into Sega. They made F-Zero GX as well.

Is the Wii version inferior to the PS3 version? (apart from graphics ofc)

It's out the 20th November in Europe! On NOE's site now!

Looking more forward to this than SMG2. I've always prefered Mario in 2D.

It's September, but where's the hype for the first 2D platform game starring Mario on a home console since Super Mario World? Isn't it supposed to be out in Q4? No news since E3...

Surprisingly cheap. Americans who already own a board will be able to pick up Wii Fit Plus separately for $20 (£12 / €14). Out 4th October over there. No Euro date yet.

6 out of 10: http://www.gamervision.com/gamer/coop/reviews/article/cursed_mountain_wii "The graphics really can't be held under too much scrutiny, since Wii owners sort of know what they're getting into. The problems that can't really be forgiven, however, come from the slow pacing. True, slow pacing on its own doesn't necessarily mean bad pacing, but Cursed Mountain's molasses speed doesn't work in the game's favor. In the end, it's worth checking out the game at some point, just not when so many other games are right around the corner. Anyone who owns multiple systems will likely be busy with games far better than Cursed Mountain very soon, enjoying the holiday season's releases. As for those who prefer the Wii exclusively, however, there isn't much like it on the system. There are those who will enjoy Cursed Mountain. The slow, monotonous gameplay might be a turn-on for gamers tired of the run-and-gun shooters that seem to own the year 2009. As for the masses, however, it's best to avoid this curse altogether."

But this looks decent: -
It's official: PS3 Slim for £249 in the UK. Out 1st September. In terms of price it's in the same league as Wii and 360 now.

Ok, they've sold more than twice as much so far, but these things can change very quickly if Nintendo just rests on its laurels.

New PS3 slim model with 120 GB to be relased first week in september. $299/€299 in US/Europe (no UK price announced, but probably £199 or £249). Maybe this will force Nintendo to do a price cut before Xmas?

I guess they will have an October conference with more Other M and Galaxy 2 info. Don't expect more Zelda hype until E3 2010.

Metal Gear Solid Wii: will it ever happen?
Ren of Heavens replied to canand's topic in Nintendo Gaming
With MGS: Peace Walker (PSP) and MGS Rising (PS3, 360, PC) in production I don't see them doing a Wii game. Maybe a Peace Walker-port or just straight ports of MGS2 and 3.- 45 replies

I wont say this is good news for the Wii. It has the biggest hardware decline compared to July last year (555,000).
-
First 2,5 years: Excite Truck, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, Pokémon Battle Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Punch-Out!!. Plus all the casual stuff. And it's still early days... Nintendo themselves have done a pretty good job actually. Blame the lacklustre line-up on Square, Rockstar, Ubisoft, Activision etc. instead who has yet to deliver a single AAA game to the system.

Woah, this makes no sense. If third parties are going to port 5-10 year old games to the Wii they should at least pick the good games that might actually sell something like Silent Hill 2, MGS2, MGS3, Shenmue 1 and 2, Final Fantasy X and XII, GTA: San Andreas etc.
