  1. That's your opinion. It doesn't look amazing and having Rayman Legends in the next trailer just highlighted that fact even more and alot of people have said so. I have NSMB for the DS and the Wii and there is no major evolution in the gameplay in this new game. If you've played one, you've played them all. Don't try and argue this fact as you'll be wrong. You say "It's like Super Mario World in HD". Exactly. It smacks of laziness, it doesn't take alot of effort to churn this side scroller out. A Mario Galaxy 3 however would take effort. Monster Hunter 3? We already have it on the Wii. How about a new MH game? DQ X started out on the Wii, don't say they had the Wii U in mind. The other games you mention are ports and some are old ports and will be even older by the time Wii U releases. "What a load of tosh! I've never heard such rubbish in my life". Well why don't you stop talking rubbish then? Edit: @Debug Mode beat me to it. Great minds think alike.
  2. 1. I'm hoping for €250 for the white version and €300 for the black premium version. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more. Once again Nintendo has left it to The Merchants Of Venice to decide our fate. Well done! 2. I'll be waiting for some big games to release. First time I won't be buying a Ninty console on day 1. I could change my mind but am doubtful and I've a huge backlog as it is. 3. I'd buy the third option, maybe Zombii U. It depends on the reviews. Let's face it, anything would be better than Nintendo Land. The extra accessories of the premium pack would be welcome. I'd prefer black perhaps as I bought a white Wii and would prefer a change. 4. The best games with the greatest effort and not ports are probably Zombii U and Rayman. The others appear as just quick cash-ins. FIFA 13? No thanks. Scribblenauts? No thanks. How late is the Batman game and at full price? No thanks. I'm interested but not at that price. I'll wait. Plus Wii U games appear to be more expensive than Wii games. 5. No. 6. No. Sure they still can't tell us how much it is. I am getting it but it won't be for a while. It needs big games. Where's Retro Studios game? Where are all the big Japanese studios? 7. Will online be free? How much does the Wii U cost? Where are the killer app games? I would have liked to see the Wii U interface. I couldn't care less about the Miis. I've always thought they look lame.
  3. I'm Nintendo exclusive. I'm just saying I'll probably be waiting well after launch(1st time ever) as there's no killer apps. Mario Bros. Wii U can be farted out by Nintendo easily, no real effort. Same goes for Nintendo Land. It seems it's mostly ports of long released games at full price. Where's Capcom, Konami, Square-Enix, where are the big games? If they can show a couple of seconds of a trailer for the exclusive Bayonetta 2 which didn't show anything and is miles away from launch then why couldn't they show any kind of a trailer for other big games that are coming? I hope I'm wrong and that the big parties are on board but I don't want to see Wii all over again. I can't be the only person who sees this? It's de ja vu! The only companies putting any real effort in is Ubisoft and Platinum games.
  4. Are you stupid? I own a Wii and 40+ games. I've owned every Nintendo system but my eyes are open to the BS this time around.
  5. Why? It's probably a lazy ass rehash of the Wii version. I already own it for the Wii and am not putting another 700+ hours into a game I've already played. Wow Capcom you really broke your bo11ox this time. Nothing for launch and a rehash in March 2013. Take a bow next to Nintendo.
  6. Nintendo Land is pants, don't care for it. What's up with no price? The retailers will decide the price. Well done Nintendo, take a bow. Screw your customers over again and yet we keep coming back.
  7. I think the idea here is to mention GOOD games at bargain prices.
  8. No, as far as I'm aware it doesn't have rumble but that could change before launch. The main tablet controller does have rumble though.
  9. Where's my little drunken rant left in the early hours about Skyward Sword gone to? Surely I'm entitled to post my opinion and I never got to read all the responses that were left. It wasn't bad, if you want to see bad just ask me what I think of Rhythm Paradise? I think I'm going to be sick. Edit: I just read what @Hero\-of\-Time had to say and I say discussion and debate is healthy. Nobody here is made of delicate glass and is gonna be smashed to pieces if I throw a stone their way. This board isn't North Korea or at least I thought it wasn't.
  10. I believe it's too early for this list. So many games still on the back burner. Xenoblade is eating up my time right now. That is definitely on the list. As will be Monster Hunter Tri and Okami. I know it's a port but it was new to me this generation. I need more time. Little King Story, I've heard so many great things about it. Gathering dust, want to give it a go. Same goes for A Boy and his Blob and those are only a couple of the obscure titles. Metroid Prime Trilogy, I've played them all but need time to try out the new controls on 1+2. One game that won't be making the list though is Skyward Sword. Only Zelda to have ever let me down. I was glad when it was over. It really pissed me off in so many ways though some aspects were good. I never say that about Zelda. That reminds me Twilight Princess will make the cut. Again, this list is way too soon and if I remember correctly when the Gamecube list was done, well, what was the point? Ye never bothered to show the results!!! That really bugged the F out of me, I still think about it from time to time and weren't we asked to choose our top 20?
  11. I'm going playing some more of this canned awesome sauce. I like taking my time with this game just grinding and exploring all areas at different times of the day/different weather to try and find unique monsters for more affinity coins.
  12. I'd imagine if you did 1/2 to 3/4 the sidequests you wouldn't be completing the game in under 100 hours.
  13. Wii

    Okami

Not to be pedantic but that's not origami( it's papercraft) but damn if that ain't awesome just like the game.
  14. Love this game but right now I want to batter the shit out of it. Regarding skill trees, I'm only now looking at them properly. I'm level 53, yet for each character I've only 1 full skill branch for each character. Where the fuck is the rest of my hard earned SP? Why didn't it start filling up another branch automatically or store it for me to use later? Is all my previously earned SP pissed down the toilet?
  15. You're right. I deleted my message. The accompanying photo I'm pretty sure would have got me in trouble. I'm barred from commenting on the thread for pretty much nothing. I'm entitled to my opinion. It's a farce of a game. Anyway on topic, even harder than Deviljho is Alatreon. Far harder, 30+ minute battles only to be beaten at the end. Trying to remember now but one of the rarest drops and God knows I need loads of them, Skypiercers. The bane of my life.
  16. Ya, I just got him so we'll see. One thing that won't change is my opinion on his voice. Very irritating. I find I don't really use the other characters really, I just stick to Shulk, Ryen and Sharla. Use Dunban sometimes. On the beer this evening so I should stay away from the game. I take my gem crafting very seriously and try to craft the best possible. Craft with weak affinity characters to get high level cylinders and craft them together with high level affinity.. Tonnes of resetting. MEGA-HEAT x 2.
  17. Love this game, it's a beast. Shows up other games for the pieces of shit they are. Rhythm Paradise Wii, I'm looking at you. Simply awful. Wouldn't even spit on it. Only complaint is Riki, he's a retard! Really annoying voice. That's the stage I'm at, just after getting him.
  18. I decided to play Xenoblade yesterday evening at around 9. I've played 7hours. I can tell already this game is going to be a classic. I am still in colony 9 playing as Shulk. You know where Reyn leaves Shulk at the start of the town and I'm supposed to go where the Monado is and where Dickson is? After that you take the role of some girl. I reset before that point and so have gone exploring instead. I'm up at level 12 and have earned and a little over 15000 in cash. Really loving the game, would have played longer but needed sleep. The area is huge and I've expanded the map right out and seen some colossal beasts and even small who kill me with 1 blow. I want to build up Shulk first before I get other party members but is level 12 enough? I'm using a junk sword, very weak. I have a carbon driver that is much, much stronger but I can't equip it. Do I need to progress the story before I can do so? I can change other armour no problem.
  19. I have this game sitting here gathering dust. I'm fully aware how good this game is supposed to be. I look at it like a fine wine but once it's consumed, it's gone. But then again with interest in this thread renewed maybe I should play it now so I'll have people to discuss it with.
  20. Thread FAIL. Where is the option "Tea is putrid!"? Tea and coffee are disgusting! People who drink this stuff are sick.
  21. Then why is Bully on the list? The same can be said of Klonoa.
  22. In the latest issue of Nintendo Power (No.279) June 2012 they've listed the top 30 Wii games as well as the essential Wiiware games and Virtual console titles. The Must-Haves Donkey Kong Country Returns The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Little King's Story Mario Kart Wii Metroid Prime Trilogy Rayman Origins Super Mario Galaxy Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Xenoblade Chronicles The Should-Haves Bully: Scholarship Edition Dead Space: Extraction Kirby's Return to Dream Land Klonoa The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess No More Heroes 2 Punch-Out!! Sonic Colors Super Mario Galaxy 2 Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure The Nice-To-Haves Disney's Epic Mickey GoldenEye 007 The House of the Dead: Overkill Kirby's Epic Yarn MadWorld Metroid: Other M New Super Mario Bros. Wii Rhythm Heaven Fever Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Sin & Punishment: Star Successor WiiWare Essentials Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth Cave Story Contra ReBirth Mega Man 10 World of Goo Virtual Console Essentials Final Fantasy III The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past The Revenge of Shinobi Super Mario World Super Metroid What do you think of the list? For me there is one startling omission, Monster Hunter 3. It should be listed in the must-haves. Mario Kart Wii is not a must-have. Also, Zelda: Skyward Sword, get the fuck out of that garden you minger! Least favourite Zelda ever! RE4 and Okami should be there. Madworld could easily be removed. Didn't like it very much, very repetitive. Good God in heaven! I just spotted that Rhythm Heaven Fever is on the list of nice-to-haves list. I've made my feelings clear before about this rancid pile of puke, suffice to say it's the anti-christ of gaming. The list lost alot of credibilty with it's inclusion at the expense of other gems.
  23. I was right to expect nothing new from their conference and I got nothing. But you know what? I am disappointed. This years whole E3 was a disaster. No surprises. I thought it would be one of the best and should've been but it goes down as one of the worst for me. Thanks Nintendo for nothing!
