  1. I think it depends from kid to kid. If as a parent you know that your 12 year old kid easily gets influenced by video games, then obviously you won't let it play GTA or Doom. It has been proven that some kids become more agressive because of games, but that is certainly not a reason to make such a big deal about it. I played lots of 3D shooters and RTS games when I was about 14 years old and I was never agressive, because my parents just made sure I did other things than playing games all the day.
  2. I'm thinking about renting the game before I buy it. I have been very disappointed about Shadow the Hedgehog (too easy, too short, too repetitive and what the hell were those guns doing in there???), and with all due respect, but Sonic Team hasn't been doing very amazing work lately. It looks like they're trying to make the Sonic games more mature to attract another audience. So, I won't take the risk, and I'll rent the game first. Tho I admit that the fact that Eggman is playable certainly makes me want to play it.
  3. What I really hope, is that there will be some kind of an adapter so that the new controller can be turned into a GameCube controller. It would be easier to play GC games since the Rev will be backwards compatible.
  4. Yeah, maybe the older ones like Paper Mario 1, a Super Mario games compilation and such, but that still doesn't take away that Paper Mario 3 would be totally AWESOME!
  5. Making copies of the actual games is not what interests me... I just want to be able to get my hands on a savegame if I really really really cant beat a certain level.
  6. ... as me, who is such a big Nintendo fan that he even creates Counterstrike maps taking place in a castle haunted by King Boo and his minions
  7. lol will do Thanks for the welcome
  8. My wishlist... hmmm, I'm probably gonna forget plenty of ideas, but here are the main ones: - Super Mario 128 (or whatever game similar to SM64 or SMSunshine) You have no idea how addicted I was to SMSunshine and how I enjoyed SM64DS - Paper Mario 3 (can't stress this enough... PM2 was totally awesome) - Mario Kart for Revolution (preferably with a coop mode like in MKDD) Mainly because it's fun to play with friends - A Sonic game but PLEASE not with GUNS any more and with Eggman playable - A compilation with all old school mario games... even the ones of the first game boy. DO I even need to say why? I never had the chance to play old school games on the TV screen - More Mario Party games. These things are too funny with friends - Another soccer game, but here also, preferably with a coop mode. Same reason as above. - EDIT: forgot one: another Wario World-like game, but this time, longer and with an actual plot. For the more unlikely/impossible ideas I'd say this: - A sequel to SMSunshine (I really loved that game) - A remake of Paper Mario 1 - A sports game where Mario's universe and Sonic's universe are combined *runs away in fear* As you may have noticed... I'm a big Super Mario and Sonic fan
  9. I don't think it will be possible to play Rev games on PC, but what I would find a very nice idea, is if Nintendo would create some kinda data transfer cable so that you can transfer savegames from your Memory Card to your PC and vice versa. BTW, first post here
