  1. Good first match for us gooners. Can't wait to see the Emirates stadium....its gonna be AMAZING!!!

Our new kit looks much better then I thought as well.

Is this the only pic of it so far?

I'm glad to see the colour again and everything about it is cool, but the 'Fly Emirates' just seems a tad too big :hmm:

Can't wait to go and buy it the first day its on sale nevertheless.

  2. I still find it ridiulous that Southgate has been made manager. I mean he's a good defender granted, but how does that make him a good manager? He's never before been involved in a management type role before FFS.

If his management is as bad as his commentating..my god.

  3. Eager for information on any and all things Mario Wii related, fans of the series (surely everyone with a real heart) will be pleased to hear that two player co-operative mode will be included in the upcoming Galaxy.

Nintendo has confirmed this in the past few days, though has not outlined exactly what lies in store. However, what we do know is that one player will use a standard WiiMote, the other a WiiMote and Nunchuck and both will play at the same time.

Of course, this news sparked the beautifully predictable yearnings of Nintendo fans for a co-op game featuring Luigi, Yoshi, perhaps even Toad... Again, we just don't know at time of press. We can report that the theme of saving Princess Peach (or Toadstool, depending on how pretentious you are) remains very much intact.

Fantastic! It'll be awesome if they make it online co op too.

  4. I plan on going to that, when do tickets go on sale?

Sorry mate but i'm really not sure, my Dad usually takes care of tickets and travel etc. I think as we're (luckily) season ticket holders we definately get tickets to it. Well its logical. Hope you get tickets

  5. Am I the only one who thinks that for a console that is next-gen the graphics should look better compared to GCN graphics then they do? It's nice an all but as someone said, it looks a bit FF:CC+.

Well yes, but it's easy to forget that certain RPGs this gen look absolutely beautiful, and can't be improved too much upon e.g. Baten Kaitos backgrounds. Once we see this in motion I think it'll look all the more beautiful too, the water is going to be lovely if its like that in Blue Dragon

Watch this to see what I mean:

  6. Feels too good to be true to be living without revision, exams, or the thought of exams right now.

In the daytime i've been going out a lot, beach and countryside etc. and sometimes played football with mates in the evenings. I plan to do many things and go many places, but I'll see how it all goes. Need to do a lot of boxing training this summer too, so i'll be down my club a lot.

But the best time of this summer for me is end of july->start of august.

On July 22nd I'm going to the first game at the Emirates Stadium [bergkamp's testimonial]. July 24th(I think) I'm going on holiday to Nerja, south of Spain for two weeks. Went there last year and it was fantastic. Also I'm hoping a certain person is there :heh: And while I'm there its my 16th birthday on August 4th

  7. YES! I did it (3rd go) but needed two faeries to.

That has to be the hardest boss fight I've ever fought in any Zelda, heck maybe even any game. I can't see many people be able to beat it without using at least one fairy. Gives you a bloody great level of satisfaction when you beat it however. I really hope I can go on and complete MM, especially before TP comes out. Its without doubt the hardest Zelda ever.

Haven't played it much since then, been pretty busy but now I have quite a bit of time to try and complete it. With TP coming up it'll be great to finish it soon. I'm just at the start of Ikana Canyon.

  8. - Both the Nintendo GameCube and Wii versions of the upcoming much-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game, will be identical in content besides the control scheme. That means no bonus levels, weapons, extras, etc...

    - Suda51 (The creator of Contact DS) have confirmed the development of Contact 2 but interestingly enough, there was no mention of what console it would launch on. They also confirmed the development of a Wii game, the title of the game is unknown at this time.

    - The Wii’s first fighting game will be Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

    - Zelda:Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Dragon Quest, Super Monkey Ball and Rayman Raving Rabbids have been confirmed as launch titles.

  9. IGN:

June 21, 2006 - On October 17, 1948, Frederic Chopin, one of the most influential composers for the piano, succumbed to sickness and died at the young age of 39.

Three hours prior to that, in the world according to Bandai Namco, Chopin, crouched on the floor of his hospital, saw a dream. The dream had anime characters that looked like they were out of a Tales game and a world that looked like it was pulled from a fairy tale. In the dream, people carried about their lives like in the real world. But in the dream world, people with incurable sicknesses had magical powers.

Bandai Namco's new Xbox 360 RPG, Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream ("Chopin no Yume" for the Japanese version) takes place in this dream world. Chopin (yes, the composer) comes into contact with Polka, a young girl who resides with her mother in the village of Tenuto (the names, you'll find, are all musical terms). Polka is near her death, meaning she's got some crazy powers. Unfortunately, people believe that by touching her, they'll be infected with her koodies, so Polka's not particularly popular.

Trusty Bell is the story of Chopin (yes, the composer), Polka, and a Allegretto, a 16-year-old who steals to eat and lives for only one thing: to help Polka.

If Trusty Bell were called Tales of Something-or-other, no one would complain. The game has the absurd premise, peculiar names and colorful artwork of Namco's biggest RPG series. Plus, musical composition is being handled by Motoi Sakuraba, of Tales of fame.

Trusty Bell will also feature a battle system that's heavy on the action. Details are scarce, but based on the screenshots currently circling exclusively in Japan's Famitsu magazine, the battle system supports three characters (including an unknown male character called Beat) and features some sort of combo system. Allegretto makes use of a sword as his primary weapon while Polka, being a cheery girl character and all, resorts to an umbrella.

Music and story look like they will play a big part in Trusty Bell. Bandai Namco has drafted famous Japanese actor Leo Morimoto to perform narration for the game's Japanese version. Performing the piano numbers that Chopin left to the world (before having his RPG dream) will be Russian pianist Stanislav Bunin.

Trusty Bell is in development at tri-Crescendo, a studio that worked on the sound components of tri-Ace titles like Radiata Stories, Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile and also worked on programming, sound and the battle system for Baten Kaitos, along side Monolith Soft . The game is currently without a final release date in Japan.

Music and story is what makes RPGs so special to me, it really sounds like they are trying to make the music as awesome as possible, awesome.
