Yep, seems to be a package thing there. I don't know if it was like that for other consoles. Dragon Quest X and XI were also confirmed.

They're talking about this on Treehouse. There's a Nintendo Direct focusing on this game in about a week. EDIT: January 18th, although that's based on American time.

They did say there's more surprises in the full game. Too soon to dismiss the possibility. It's not a good sign though. I'm not paying to play Mario Kart online only once a week. Eff that.

12 player Bob-omb Blast is about as mental as you'd expect. The rules in Battle are similar to the Mario Kart 7 style. It's based on points, and you get 5 Balloons. If you lose all your balloons, your score is halved. Most points when time runs out wins. You mean 12 players. I like how the Splat Buggy has ink come out of the exhaust pipes when you boost, nice touch.

They're showing this now on Treehouse. Inkling Boy and Girl are seperate characters. Villager genders have been seperated too. New karts include the Clown Car and the Splat Buggy. No sign of new race tracks. (They skip the track selection screen for some reason. Suspicious...) Full 1080p, 60fps on TV mode. 720p, 60fps in handheld mode There's a new driving assist mode which stops you from falling off the track. Totally optional. They hint at more stuff being in the full game, but they're keeping it secret.

Freakyforms? That game got music in Smash and I still don't know why.

Yep, no old specials, it seems like. Gyro controls are still available. The new dual wielding weapon seems to use the Joycons to aim in two places at once. Also implements a dodge move that follows up with aiming the two guns in one direction for more accurate aiming.

Splatoon 2 is about to be shown on Treehouse now. I needed to draw stuff anyway.

Yeah, it takes up to 256 GB. Don't expect it to come with that card though. That's good news at least.
