Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread
Glen-i replied to Ronnie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah, you're not the only one. I've done a few things like that when testing the level. It's just the nature of the power-up. You need to be slow and methodical with it, which is hard to unlearn with Mario. I purposely made it so that you don't need to dash to make it up those high walls. It definitely could have been explained better. Even when you unlock it, the game tells you next to nothing about how it works. Which I think was a mistake. It's why I tried to make a sort of introductory level for it. Someone has to. Thanks for persevering. I'll probably have to add a sort of tutorial comment to it, because I don't think I made it clear enough. Although I don't like doing that, but playability is more important. @Ronnie I don't know if you've found the 4 red coins yet, but the last two are more deviously hidden then the first two. I think I have an idea of which one you might be missing. -
Comes out on October the 18th. It includes "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth" and "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory" and will also be released on PC. I had a mild curiosity of the first game when it released on the PS4, so I'll probably pick this up. Some of you here have been saying it's quite good.

N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)
Glen-i replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Xenoblade Chronicles Super Smash Bros. Brawl The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Metroid: Other M Disaster: Day of Crisis I had like 4 games on my initial list before they got replaced by games I remembered going down the list of Wii games. Excuse me while I go cry in the corner. I've also edited the opening post with the Top 10 Gamecube Games article. -
N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)
Glen-i replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Voting is now closed Wii Nintendo's best selling home console to date was released in 2006 to astonishing success. The Wii Remote, which featured motion controls, opened up gaming to an audience that typically weren't interested in such hobbies. Everyone wanted a Wii, even those people who claimed they didn't. No matter how divisive the controls might have been, you'd have to be absolutely barmy to think that the Wii didn't have an effect on gaming today. Completely demolishing the competition at the time, thanks in part to the weird, wacky, exciting new games it sported. But which ones do you like best? Then again, this list can never be truly definitive because Ubisoft won't stop bloody releasing Just Dance games on it every year! As usual, here are some rules for nominations. Twilight Princess counts as a Gamecube title and cannot be nominated for the Wii. All Virtual Console games are banned. WiiWare games are eligible. Applications are banned (Everybody Votes Channel, Weather Channel, etc.) Retro compilations are banned (Metroid Prime Trilogy, House of the Dead 2 + 3 Return, etc.) Remakes/ports are banned (All New Play control games, Bubble Bobble Neo, etc.) Wii Fit Plus is deemed too similar to Wii Fit. Therefore, it will be treated as a rare non-Pokemon example of the Pokémon Clause. Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth is eligible for nomination as it is dramatically different from the Game Boy Game. Given the sheer amount of games for this console, I've likely overlooked something, so do ask if you're not sure. Here is a list of all the Wii titles. And here's a list of WiiWare titles. Be careful not to pick a game that is banned from nomination. Nominations close on the 13th of July. -
Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread

If you only care about parts for creating levels, then you only need to... If you want all the costumes however, you need to do every level. I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't allowed to use Luigi's help either. -

Fair points, I tried to explain the two different abilities at the start of the course, but I guess it could be done better, not sure how right now. There's potential in that particular power-up and I bet people can come up with some cool ideas for it. -

There's over 100 levels on-disc as well as making your own levels. So you should be fine. -

-
Holy crap. That DK match was so close!

That Kirby ending shot though!

Gee @S.C.G, want some Smash with your cannons?
-
Heading online now.
-
OK, I've entered. I hope this works. The second non-existant player is with me in the lobby.
-
OK, so @Sofiz suggested me trying Split Screen to make up 4 people. I think it might work, I'll send an invite because I need to be the host. Sofiz, tell me how to set up the tournament you need.
-
Maybe @RedShell? You fancy throwing a match so Sofiz can get this newfangled thing called an achievement?
-
Well, it doesn't have to be Nick. Couldn't it be anyone else?

All right, all caught up on levels here. @GenericAperson I got hopelessly stuck in your Boss Rush 2. Other than that, I pretty much liked all of them. -
Oh, and @Ugh first aid has just blown my mind with Corrin.
-
Right, here's the last results of the first half. I forgot to put @S.C.G as joint third on the last GP, but the points are right. So it shouldn't matter too much. So with the first half all done, here are the top 3 placers. 3rd Place viceview51 2nd Place BowserBasher 1st Place Glen-i And here are the final results. It was quite close in the end, @BowserBasher really put on a strive in the last couple of weeks, but it wasn't quite enough. OK, table reset! Here comes the second half! Next League Night: 11th July 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 @martinist @RedShell Sign up Now!
