I'll update this tomorrow when more people have a chance to catch up on who the next character is. EDIT: Never mind, no-one called it. Score remains the same.
-
Oh right, this means I can now update this previous joke I made. That game continues to look more and more sad.

Trailer's dropped! Won't say who it is. But most of you can breathe easy.

I'm pretty optimistic about every Smash character. I can see the silver lining, even for unpopular schmos like Corrin (Genuinely interesting to play as, much like Robin before him) or Chrom (Echo Fighters don't take nearly as long as new creations, he's also better than Roy anyway). Name any character and I'll tell you what I like about them. But someone from Fortnite would be the first time in this massive character roster where I wouldn't be able to see the "glass half full" scenario. It just seems like a losing situation and would make me feel bad seeing it on my character screen. I don't think it's happening though. Far too soon. Come back to me whenever the next Smash entry is out and if Fortnite is still stupid popular, then it'll have a shot.

This is where I'm at. Fortnite is popular, sure. But it hasn't got that long-time pedigree to it. It hasn't earned it's spot in my eyes, unlike Minecraft. It needs to get out of that fad phase first.

Interesting dynamic tonight. Looking forward to timing you all like a creepy stalker.
-
Yes please. Not enough danger here.
-
Sorry, will be there in a few minutes.

Smashing Stock Format tonight at 9pm. EDIT: Change of plans, 9:15. I need to eat. May have to spectate at the start.

Oh right, knew I forgot something. Yeah, normal Balloon Battle setup.

Friend Codes, Fruit, Trading and Photo Thread For Animal Crossing
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
OK @Tales, town's open now. -
If only Disney didn't own that character. I can imagine them being even harder to deal with then Square. Also, Sora should show up in Smash in his original outfit. The cartoon vibe it gives is way better for Smash.

Redd is in my town and has: A real Robust Statue. (Taken) A Fake Wistful Painting A Fake Serene Painting I already took the real Quaint Painting. Let me know if you want to come around. -
Next League Night: Tonight 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 @martinist @S.C.G Survival Battle is my attempt at replicating the original format of Battle Mode seen before Mario Kart Wii changed to the more modern point format. Here is how it works: The aim is to be the last player to lose all of their balloons. Pop everyone elses in order to obtain 1st place. If you lose all your balloons, you are considered "Out" and your placing for that round is set. Even if you are "Out", you can still continue playing and try to pop other player's balloons, but you won't be able to improve your placing even if you hit other people. How do I figure out where everyone places? Easy! I'll watch each of us on MKTV after the night ends and use a stopwatch to time how long you last. The person who lasts the longest will be placed 1st. Anyway, some more things to note: If time runs out and more than one player has survived until the end, your placing will be determined by the number of balloons you had left. If two people have survived until the end and have the same amount of balloons, then your score will determine your placing (Much like normal Battle Mode). That second tie breaker will also apply in the unlikely event that two people get knocked out at the same time. In the spirit of fair play, anyone caught remaining idle in order to hide themselves from the action will be penalised

The Game Awards 2020 (10th December 2020)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Yeah, me too. Don't fancy watching everything get snubbed for Last of Us 2. I've got better things to do. (It's gonna be in the last half hour, I'm certain of it) -
I just want to point out that no-one should ever take what I say as gospel. It's just that there's a lot of talk that Banjo and Steve were negotiated at around the same time with Microsoft and yet they were both separated into two separate passes. So Master Chief happening straight after Steve just feels wrong to me. (Also no game on a Nintendo console... Yet... It's one of two actual concrete rules that Sakurai has actually said he follows) Of course, that means Square Enix is defo on the table for this pass, they're big enough to get two DLC characters (Whether they actually play ball is another matter entirely).
-
I'm really not expecting any company outside of Nintendo to make a double appearance on the same Fighter's Pass. Especially not twice in a row.

The fact that it's at TGA's makes me swerve wildly from my previous Pokémon Gen 8 prediction last time. That ain't no Ninty audience, I'm calling third party. If I had to guess, I'll stick with my "FP2 is full of games Glen doesn't like" theory and predict Crash Bandicoot.

Or do what @Dcubed did and use a VPN to get a code from France. Worked a treat, that did.

Today is Jenga.

Resident Evil 4 feels dated now...

That's subjective, I've never completed Professional. I get completely stuck at the Castle. -

OK, feel a bit more refreshed now. If anyone wants me to open my gates for Kyle's Birthday, give me a mention. -

The buttons all do the same thing, it's just that turning Gyro Aiming on has that handle the aiming while the Circle Pad is used for moving Jill when in the aiming view. Much better than the default controls and it was clear that Revelations control scheme was designed with gyro in mind, due to the lack of a second analogue stick. -
Friend Codes, Fruit, Trading and Photo Thread For Animal Crossing
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's Kyle's Birthday on my island today. But I am very tired thanks to waking up after only about three hours sleep last night, so I'll try and open up this afternoon. (Maybe 4 or 5-ish) I'll post here again when I have a more concrete idea of time.
