I agree Haver. I ordered my christmas present (new iPod) back in October, though Coo my situation is different where I didn't pay for it, I still really want to use it. I got to test it before putting it away (my parents usually do that with electrical products to advoid disappointment), it hasn't once crossed my mind of sneaking into my parents room and taking it. What I find even worse is that you've set up Live and everything. I don't think I'd have the courage to take it that far.

I was going to make a "Grinds my gears" topic a few months back when I first saw the movie, then at the time I had nothing on my mind that really annoyed me so I passed up the oppotunity. You know what really grinds my gears... not knowing what the hell is grinding my gears! Edit - I now know what grinds my gears. Fools who damage a water pipe, without telling the street leaving my house without water for the evening. FFS.

Honestly though, what on Earth makes that lot worth spending five grand on. I don't see the logic. 3 DVD players, whats wrong with just one? I don't think anyone on the planet watches enough tv to justify those purchases.

Cauterize - Paper Wings Thought the band was gonna go down the piss pan when they were dropped by Wind-Up. This album is solely independant and quite frankly its freaking awesome, a huge improvement from So Far From Real. Amazing band, I really hope they hit it big. Panic! At the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out A band I've only recently over the last few months discovered, but they are amazing, and I'm going to see them when the support The Acadmey Is in January. Other than that most of the albums I've been buying are from a few years back.

Went to the Watford match today, played poorly and drew 1-1 to Brighton. But the ref was an utter wanker. A Brighton defender jumped and slapped the ball, which would have put Anthony McNamee through on goal, and the ref only booked him. Brighton players faked injuries if Watford players got one on one with the goalie, so the ref stopped play. Total fucker, worse ref I've ever seen. Arsenal and Norwich lost, so football wise, bad day for me.

Buy your own presents thats preposterous. Family/Friends buy gifts for me, I scrounge money to buy gifts for them. I'm getting an iPod Video from my parents and an Arsenal membership from my brother. My brothers mate is getting me a Quagmire (from Family Guy) shirt. This year unfortunately I know too much about my presents. Ah well.

I remember my first speech, for some reason I was incredibly nervous. But I had a good teacher and we would end up doing discussions in the middle of lesson and it was on the spot stuff, it made me confident, accompanied with my fantastic dramatic skills.. I gained the blagging skill. What I'm trying to say Bencallis, is just go for it, most of the people you are scared of won't give a ****. And it will just be the polite people who will give a damn and listen. And note it won't be worse than the dude who was in my class who was going to do a speech on Sipder-man but pulled out because he got embarrased. I believe he cried about it.

I've got one more present to buy. This years main presents I've asked for are an Arsenal Red Membership and a 5G iPod, both of which I know I'll be getting. Some how I find Christmas not so surprising anymore. We put our tree up around the 10th of December time, which I think is not too early or too late, anything before December though is just extreme in my opinion. Its good to do Christmas shopping early so you can get the right gifts, nothing worse than disappointment on Christmas Day.

I disagree they're both games consoles, both going onto the same market, fighting for every single customer/fan. Thats like saying you can't compare two defenders for opposite teams because they are both aiming for something different, one might be aiming for survival, the other might be going after the title. Up until the Revolution thats all its ever been, better hardware which essentially gives you better graphics. It wasn't until the current gen when things started to get thrown into the mix and extras added. It is exciting this road Nintendo are taking because nobody has done it before.

Couldn't agree more, at my college the Christmas Party has been renamed to the Winter Party, so it doesn't offend the minorities.. I've yet to meet a person who is offended by the word Christmas.

I had the opportunity to meet him at a nerd fair.. I wish I did now. He was a legend. Rest in peace Mr Miyagi.
